I think i covered that whisper of Il'gynoth.When i look to the skies i saw the circle of stars and more...I saw him! N'zoth.

Go drawn yourself in the mealstorm,after you reach deepholm look to the sky.You will see him,he jailed into the darkest deeps of ocean.Naga,pirate,curse,corruption and there are much much more.(Kul'Tiras spoilers spoils)N'zoth is coming.

In the movie, the Holy Grail was the shittiest looking cup to choose from and it granted the person immortality. When visiting that dudes underground cavern of treasure chests......does anyone else tend to pick the shittiest looking chest in hopes of hitting the Nethershard jackpot?

Beware: Black Temple Timewalking Bug - If any group member has any lockout at all, your raid will not be able to enter the instance. You are also unable to bring fresh players into your group if you have a lockout, and cannot relist your group from inside.

At the moment, every single group member needs a fresh lockout to queue via the NPC.

If you are in a group that falls apart and try to join a new group, that group will be unable to queue through the NPC. It will simply say: Requirements Not Met. So at the moment, your group needs to do the entire raid in one go or you're screwed.

You are also unable to relist the group if members leave.

Apparently it was this way on the PTR as well? How did this go live?

Before anyone says "hurr hurr this is how it was back in BC, you wanted nostalgia right?!" Not true. You could bring fresh players into your lockout.

Update #2 - GM Response

I understand that you were in a group for the Black Temple Timewalking, defeated one boss, and now you are unable to join another raid group to finish this up. I am very sorry to hear that this is happening to your character as I know this is a very limited event.

After We have received a few other reports that players are unable to join another raid group if theirs fails to finish. I have add added the details that you have provided to the report that we have going on about this. Sadly, Customer Support does not have a fix for this and we also urge you to report this in game through the help menu. If anyone else is also experiencing this, please have the do the same.

There's a gigantic world to explore, tons of ancient ruins and landmarks, old dungeons, caves, so much history and lore. Why not have us go there and actually do things an archaeologist would do?

Instead they got us digging over and over and over. I wish they'd do more with the profession. There's even an Explorer's League within WoW with it's own cool characters. I wanna join them!

How to fix long loading screens in 3 steps.

3 things that helped me:

SET worldPreloadNonCritical "0"

WoW has to be closed for this. Restart your computer afterwards just to make sure and check the file again, sometimes it deletes the line. As /u/leothar pointed out, you can simply type 

/console worldPreloadNonCritical 0

into chat and it should pretty much do the same. (link to his post)

  • Step 2: Open your Blizzard-Launcher, click on the blue Blizzard-Logo in the top-left corner. Go to Settings -> Streaming -> Disable Streaming.

  • Last step: Reduce your view distance ingame a little.

Bam! Super fast loading screens!

The boosted level 100's need a 'Catching up' video for their character!

When you create a character at lvl 1, you get a small introductory video with a narration explaining the circumstances for why you are needed.

I suggest Blizzard make one for the characters boosted to lvl 100. These characters start with the siege of the Broken shore which is in itself epic, but once the fight is over, you get your first quest: give this note from the king to his son.

Wait why me? And you have to speak to the DH leader, you talk with this famous (ps) wizard and you become the leader of your order. Some Npcs will treat you as old friends, and some talk about your great deeds, and all you can feel is that you somehow entered the mind of this great hero by kicking out the old one.

So lets say you boost a lvl 100. And you log in for the first time and a voice starts talking(please read as the original narrator):

"Although you came from humble beginnings, the world would soon learn of your exploits.. "

"With your allies, you uncovered the scheming of the Lady Onyxia, and later bested the (current) leader of the black dragonflight, Nefarian! (Insert shot of your character slow motion attacking nefarian). Your victory would be brief, as an old, ancient and corruptable force grew in the ruins of Ahn Quiraj! You fought and, at last, prevailed. (Insert heroic shot of you in your shiny t2.5)"

(Skipping naxx as it became wotlk lore)

"But peace would not persist in Azeroth, as the Dark Portal to the ravaged world of draenor, outland, opened once more. The new home of the notorious Illidan Stormrage, would become another challenge you would have to face."

"Defeating the demon hunter proved to be only a distraction for the true plan of the burning legion, as the corrupted sunwell was the target for Kil'jaeden, as a portal to finally enter the world of Azeroth. With the help of the Naaru and kalegcos with his blue dragonflight, you were able to stop kiljaeden, and force him back through the now purified sunwell."

Sorry i dragged on a bit there, it might be a bit of a long cinematic, but it would definitely help for new people to catch up on the story of WoW, and perhaps you could better accept the respect the npcs showed you.

So.. thoughts? I mean i would love it to be a long 5 minute introduction, but im sure you could shorten it down to 1.5-2 min..

ELI5 - Why is it always, when I solo a 70-80 Mill HP mob...

... that nobody is there in the entire area when I walk up to it, I wait about 15 seconds if anybody will come, then I start solo'ing and BOOM out of nowhere there's 15 people rushing me as if that mob would give them 1 Million Gold. What is this sorcery?

Sha of Anger fixed spawn point

Posting here as it appears some folks still aren't aware that since patch 7.2.5 the Sha of Anger has a fixed spawn point near OneKeg (coords 54, 64).

So save yourself the frustration and camp there if you're after the Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent mount.

Another reason for this post was that I just copped some abuse from a player for dpsing the Sha too fast.. even though I did the nice thing and only hit it once to tag it - it was the other players nearby that finished it off.... sigh.

Hopefully this message will at least prevent other players from copping abuse for this reason - if everyone knows where to camp then everyone can get a hit in before the Sha falls over!
