[BotW] Enemy Designs Best We've Seen? Posted: 13 Jul 2017 09:29 AM PDT This game has ultimately made me forget how enemy species looked and have to look up what their previous designs were. We've talked a lot about the layout of Hyrule being the best. But I haven't seen much discussion about the incredibly designed enemies. Lizalfos being a great example looked like a dinosaur in TP. OoT had just ogre-esque Moblins, and I wasn't much of a fan of WW-Moblin design. I personally just think the designs of each of the enemies in BotW are perfect. Just curious if anyone had some major gripes about particular enemies' designs or anything like that. Also wishing we had the opportunity to see more variety. Darknuts, Skulltulas, Tektites, Poes, Deku Plants, Magtails, Mothulas and Morths, Green Chuchus and Dark Chuchus were for me sorely missed. :( [link] [comments]

I'm almost done with my Zelda tattoo but I need help with one thing! Posted: 13 Jul 2017 09:26 AM PDT I am on my third session on my LoZ tattoo that I started this year. I want to try to incorporate all the games (at least my favorites) and I just can't think of something to represent Twilight Princess. My requirements is that it can be adapted to look feminine and I don't want something really cliché. What I already have is: Majora's Mask, a Silent Princess flower from BOTW, the Ocarina of Time, The heart container from SS (the red and gold filigree), a bunch of rupees, and the eye of Sheikah (blue like BOTW) so preferably I would like to stay away from more purples and blues since I have so much of that already. Any suggestions of something small that I could add to show my love for Twilight Princess? It's a tattoo on my foot, so obviously size is a factor. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Jul 2017 12:58 PM PDT I just thought about some aspects that I'm missing in BOTW like missing variety in enemies and the combat system. Then I thought about the overworld and what was there and wasn't there and then I realized that aside from the many shrines we have NO actual tunnels or caves, except for that small one at Death Mountain that is used for a quest. I think this is some strongly missed potential for the landscapes as Nintendo could have made more interesting environments by incorporating caves into the world. Kinda like this: http://img15.deviantart.net/8aff/i/2013/133/3/4/cave_by_nele_diel-d655qw5.jpg or this: https://mostateparks.com/sites/mostateparks/files/flickrcache/72157625970940420/33478596303.jpg I could see Nintendo saving this up for the next open world Zelda, including diving as a feature since they didn't implement it this time. Just wanted to share it because even after 130 hours of BOTW, this never came into mind. [link] [comments]

[BotW] Phantom Set NPC Hostility Posted: 13 Jul 2017 08:05 AM PDT Anyone else notice that when you have the full Phantom Set equipped and approach a [friendly] NPC they draw their weapon and raise their guard? Why do you think this is? I thought it very odd [link] [comments]
