After more than 1500 hours into Skyrim and 26 hours into a new character while being too sick to work, I just learned that a quest can make the tree in Whiterun bloom again. You learn something new everyday in this game

Can we add "to do so is to invoke the wrath of Sithis" to the end of all of the rules?

I mean I don't know about you guys but when someone tells me doing a thing will Invoke the Wrath of Sithis I just find it impossible to do that thing. Maybe having this threat at the end of all of the rules will help with motivating the community into following them. I don't know, just spitballin' here.

So I started a game as normal, and we got to the bit where Hadvar shows you the three guardian stones, and you choose the way of the warrior, the mage or the rogue.

A few days later I stood on a rock near the lake, and watched the sunset and the stars come out. I looked up and realised one constellation shone distinctly brighter than the others... the constellation of the Warrior. It was the same pattern as the holes on the stone.

I presume if you choose mage or rogue you get a similar thing. But how about other stones' blessings? Has anyone else seen this?

Has anybody else ever noticed that if you kill a dragon then immediately open up the map you can see it's glowing skeleton as it's soul is absorbed??

I was interested in what everyone's least favorite/ quest they find most annoying to complete. For me it is the one where you have to harvest like 5 different races blood types for Septimus.

Dawnguard or Dragonborn?

I'm interested in what people prefer over the two main Skyrim expansions. I really love both but I feel that Dragonborn wins just by how epic your final confrontation with Mirak is. I mean, the first dragonborn vs the last dragonborn just sounds like an epic ending to Skyrim. Also getting to see Morrowind was really special for me as it was my first ever outing there (due to not actually playing Morrowind).

I'm quite disappointed with horses in skyrim. It wasn't even until later they added combat while horse back but that doesn't even include spells. Don't forget that you can swing a two handed weapon around like a toothpick also. And then there's the painfully nonchalant dismount no matter what the situation is.

I would purchase a horse 9 times out of 10 if the dismount was different while in combat but that's just me. What are your thoughts?

How to fight dragons

Okay I'm level 69 right now so anything up to an elder dragon is a piece of cake. When fighting ancient dragons tho or the others when I was lower level I usually looked for them with a follower who I use as fire/frost fodder while i pelt the dragon with arrows and fireballs and shouts till it cant fly then i attack it with a one.handed weapon and a destruction spell and fire breath. When I'm caught alone I usually conjure a storm or flame atronach to serve the purpose of the follower while I do my thing. Therefore I usually go through the whole fight without a scratch except when the dragon catches.me healing my follower. I'm interested in your methods I wanna know if everyone else does it this way or if you guys have some cool weird ways of taking down dragons
