There are several places where the game as designed causes the new, faster pip inactivity timer to go into decay in WvW: crossing the desert BL, waiting for a timer on an objective to elapse before attacking the lord, and waiting for siege to open an objective among others. The inactivity timer needs to be adjusted to not penalize the above or similar natural pauses in attacking type activity.

WvW Participation rate guide

I wanted to consolidate into a single post how much each activity awards towards a player's participation rates.

Edit to match Dev response.

The reset times are as follows:

Killing a Player – 10 minutes
Killing a Caravan – 2 minutes
Destroying a fortification – 5 minutes
Killing a Guard – 2 minutes
Killing a Lord – 5 minutes
Killing or reviving a merc npc – 1 minute
Repairing – 5 minutes
Siege Damage to Wall/Gate/Player – 1 minute
Destroying Siege – 5 minute
Killing a Veteran Creature – 5 minutes

These happen on event completion:

Defending a Caravan – 2 minutes
Completing a Merc Event – 5 minutes
Completing a Defend Event – 10 minutes
Capturing an objective – 10 minutes
Capturing a Ruin or Shrine – 2 minutes
Capturing a Sentry – 5 minutes

EDIT: I light of this blowing up I feel like I need to better express myself. I never intended for this to be a shit post or a place for shit posting to take place and I absolutely never intended to disrespect the developers in any way. I love you, I love your work and I encourage you to keep on making the game awesome for us. GW2 is the best MMO I have ever and will ever play. The reason I made this post is somewhat impulsive... at the moment I felt that Gw2 has become a chore for me. I log in, get dailies, maybe do T4 fractals and raid, and for me this is no where closer to the time I used to spend ingame, exploring, learning new professions, searching for secrets, finishing collections etc. I have done all of this and because of that I stopped logging in.

In short, I am feeling down because I don't have a clear purpose to play Gw2, my favorite game ever, at the moment and I wanted to share how I feel with this post.

P.S. I also apologize to all the devs, mods and community members that interpreted the OP as a shit post, bitchthread, a spoiled tantrum and whatnot.

The Druid Stone backpieces are now the only exotic HoT stat backs with an upgrade slot. They are also not attainable after completing the collection.

Exotic HoT stat backpieces would be extremely valuable on classes like chrono in PvE now that upgrade slots have been added. But as it stands most who have done the collection has salvaged the exotic back and there are no ways of obtaining one again.

The following happened around 9pm EST in Rata Sum. As many of you do not know the hatchling Quaggan potions have an issue. For some reason they last what seems 5 minutes now. This has happened some time ago, months ago. I am a member of the guild [BURN] and [REQT]. The leader who is known as Tiny Blue or "First hatched" has not been the same since. Many Quaggans have said "FooOOoo" since then. The First Hatched has even started to drink from this! Every day at pre-Teq he drinks from the keg! Many rubs have been withheld as punishment but still he drinks! Devs if you see this, please check the timers on the hatchling potions.
