Diablo - Rise of the Necromancer is the second most downloaded DLC in June on PS4

Rise of the Necromancer is the second most downloaded DLC in June on PS4

So the Necromancer pack is the second most downloaded DLC in June on PS4, only behind Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles, i'm happy that the pack is selling good on PS4 because that shows that the Diablo's community on PS4 is still active and passionate about the game. https://blog.us.playstation.com/2017/07/07/playstation-store-junes-top-downloads-2/

LoN Infected corpses GR95+

Posted: 07 Jul 2017 03:01 PM PDT

Hi guys! Here is a nice LoN build that can compete with the top pushing Necromancer build. With 2 missing ancients, no augments and poor weapon and neck, I cleared a GR90 on second try (see the video). Enjoy!

Does AoTD being forced into Rathma's feel "off"?

Posted: 07 Jul 2017 05:29 AM PDT

It feels like a random nuke being shoved into the "pet set" just doesn't feel right. Just because the visuals make it seem like skeletons doesn't make it a pet spell. I'd rather see a more synergistic bonus for it. Trag has all runes on Blood Rush, which is useful for mobility and survival, Inarius has much more damage on their armor spell, providing extra damage every few seconds, and Pestilence automatically launches damage everywhere, synergizing with it being designed for speed and damage on the go. Rathma's gets a chance to lower the cooldown on a nuke that doesn't help the pets in any way. You may think that the rune to "group" is useful, but I feel like Ess of Johan and/or Bone Golem already does that, and it can do it more often, without taking up a much-needed skill slot.

Some people on the forums have asked for the 2pc Rathma's to simply be permanent mages, which we know will not happen. They could rip out the 33% passive and turn it into 100% duration as the Rathma's 2pc, but then others that want to run mages don't benefit from it. The fact that the 33% should really be 100% (20s mages and 30s sounds so much better than what we have now) can be saved for a Necromancer Passives discussion. For now, here are some options I think would work as either a replacement to the current 2pc Rathma's or in addition to it:

-your pets do X% additional damage to cursed targets

-your pets have a chance on hit to restore essence

-your pets have a chance to apply a random curse on hit

-your pets have a chance to deliver an explosive attack, dealing X% of weapon damage in a small area around their target

-your golem and command skeleton attacks now cleave

-your command skeletons now summons 10 skeletons and are immune to cc

-your pets are now surrounded by an aura of death, dealing X% weapon damage per second to all nearby enemies

-while you have pets active, you and your pets gain X% movement and attack speed

These are just off the top of my head. There are so many useful options that synergize well with the goal of the set (pets) without extending the duration of the spell they want kept short and strong (mages). I don't think they are overly powerful and without the ability to combine sets, I think 2pc bonuses for the necromancer can be stronger than usual. They don't even have to remove the AoTD from the 2 and 6 piece bonuses, they can leave it there for anyone that wants to use AoTD as flexibility and choices are never a bad thing, but I really do wish they would add something else that works with your pets, not just other non-pet skills.

Good luck!

Diablo noob

Hi new Xbox player and wondering if class selection and grouping are a thing? For example if I'm playing with a friend and he is a Crusader...should I be a Wizard for example? What would the best duo combo be?

Inarius Singularity + Reservoir Simulacrum group DPS build

Posted: 07 Jul 2017 01:42 PM PDT

https://www.d3planner.com/371355152

Been theorycrafting this for a little while, idea is that you get fed so much Essence from group orbs that you can keep up max Skeleton Mages with Singularity rune.

Damage is doubled during Simulacrum thanks to Reservoir doubling our maximum essence.

Thoughts/ feedback appreciated!

Worth using Ramaladni's Gift on this?

Posted: 07 Jul 2017 01:14 PM PDT

I recently got this Reilena's Shadowhook.

I only have two of ramaladni's gift, is it worth using one on this and rerolling the resource costs into increased damage, or will I end up replacing this item soon?
