| [Questions] So...Since 0.63 is the beginning of the beta, what features can we expect from 0.63? Posted: 14 Jul 2017 12:44 AM PDT Beta is when everything is feature completed and everything is in place ready to be polished up right? If thats the case, what are we going to see in 0.63? So far i seen some bits of new animations of players begin hit by melee, with new animations to swing a axe and also a new UI. But when people say stuff about 0.63, i just see "New player controller animations" and i dont get what is the big deal of having new animations. The most important thing i want in DayZ is the damn infected count up and fix their melee attacks so they can be a threat, i asked around with a group that plays DayZ and they were like "yeah man 0.63 will have that", so i asked where they saw that and no one had any type of source, it was like a rumor more than confirmed. So anyone has some sort of source that confirm a higher zombie count for 0.63? And anyone has like a list of features that are going to come out right out of the gate with 0.63? I just have this feeling that we are going to get the animations thing for 0.63 and for all the rest of base building, more vehicles, helicopters and stuff like that we are going to have to wait till 2018 for 0.64 (If we even get 0.63 this year alone) [link] [comments] | ||

It's always stuck on "Starting BattleEye service" and it's pissing me off so much that I just don't play DayZ anymore. Nothing works either.. You can change all the firewall and anti-virus settings that you want to let it through, but it never works. People tell you to open "services.msc" and restart it through there but that just shouldn't be a "fix". It should just fucking start when I tell to. [link] [comments] | ||

Everytime i record something with shadowplay on dayz, the video looks super dark. This happens only with DayZ. I already reinstalled all drivers, and the game it self. I have a GTX 1060 6GB. | PSA: Possibly figured out the new Wolf AI? Posted: 13 Jul 2017 02:16 PM PDT So I was playing earlier.. made a video of what happened. But the synopsis is I've noticed wolves acting differently lately. They seem to attack you no matter how little noise you make, or how much you hide. Scent does not appear to play a part in it, based on the wind direction of the server at the time. But I think today I figured it out. They are set to trigger on any player within line of sight, around 500m or less distance away. I made zero noise, kept in the shadows and hidden, was upwind from the pack.. and once I popped out in the open for 5 seconds I had a pack running me down that spawns about 500m away. Since I did not see them on the hill at all, prior to my stepping out behind a wall.. I feel like they triggered on my proximity once they got line of sight? Now, if they are already aggroed on anything other then you, they will simply ignore you until you 100% engage them. If you fire a shot within their "hearing" they will track you, apparently.. this part I cannot speak about since I've never seen it or tested it. Again, scent does not appear to be a part of it if you look at the wind direction. Maybe someone else can confirm this in any way? I'm getting 60+ frames when standing still or panning the mouse, even on very high, but as soon as i press a key to move in any direction the screen freezes, even the sound if I hold it long enough. Anyone got a fix? Specs: i5 4690k ASUS GTX 970 8GB RAM (checked this, it's not capping out when I try and do anything) EDIT: magically solved after a driver upgrade despite them only being a month old. Wasn't expecting it, but I'll take it. EDIT 2: fix is only temporary, I can't get it back now. [link] [comments] | ||

For me I can pick up a radio which was just used by a player (pristine radio + pristine battery) and it will only show me the option 'inspect' and 'take/remove from hands'. I reinstalled DayZ and looked for corrupted game files before that. Both didnt fix the bug. If somebody knows something about this issue, if its known or worked on that would be great to know.
