Reading through posts where people talk about playing together with their children and spouses made me realize just how much wow has become a part of my life.

I started playing back in Vanilla, when I was around Anduin's age. Now we are both adults, and I can't help but feel like we've grown up together.

My sibligns have been playing for almost as long as I have, and whenever we meet and talk about our life, in between topics about work and school, there's also the "I was passing through Feralas the other day, and...", like it's a completely natural, integral part of our daily experiences.

Sometimes I log in, not to do any quests and achievements, but simply to take a walk through these familiar places and marvel at the sights, reminiscing (or 'membering, if you like) all the fun times I had in there.

Bosses are relatively close to one another. There isn't much trash packs in the instance between bosses.

This is how all raids should be in the future IMO.

Edit: Here's a much cleaner script thanks to /u/linux-shines 

/run local t = {number, number, number, number, number, number, number} for k, v in pairs(t) do _G["PlayerTalentFrameTalentsTalentRow"..k.."Talent"..v]:Click() end

The numbers' order is from first talent row to last. Replace "number" with 1 to 3 for the talents on that row.

Few days ago I was looking for a way to change talents without having to constantly open the UI and found this useful macro:

/click PlayerTalentFrameTalentsTalentRow1Talent1

Change the Row number to whichever row the talent is on you want to change to (1 to 7) and change the Talent number to which talent you want to change (1 to 3).

For example on my Subtlety Rogue if I want to change my third row talent to Vigor the macro would look like this:

/click PlayerTalentFrameTalentsTalentRow3Talent3

The best part about this macro is that you can create profiles/presets with it with the use of Macro Toolkit (to allow for more than 255 characters in a single macro). On my Subtlety Rogue I made 3 macros that basically act as presets that I can swap between depending on whether I'm doing world PvE, instanced PvE, or PvP.

To create a profile just type /macrotoolkit ingame, start a new macro and Extend it and copy this:

/click PlayerTalentFrameTalentsTalentRow1Talent1 /click PlayerTalentFrameTalentsTalentRow2Talent1 /click PlayerTalentFrameTalentsTalentRow3Talent1 /click PlayerTalentFrameTalentsTalentRow4Talent1 /click PlayerTalentFrameTalentsTalentRow5Talent1 /click PlayerTalentFrameTalentsTalentRow6Talent1 /click PlayerTalentFrameTalentsTalentRow7Talent1

Just alter the last number of each line to which talent (the first, second or third) you want the macro to change to.

If you want the macros to be key bind only so you don't have to drag it onto your actionbar to keybind it just create the macros inside the Key Bind Only tab.

Having a Horde Warrior main, I was pleased to see that I could use my class mount at lvl 40 (didn't test before) on my alliance warrior alt :P Thought maybe not everyone knew this as I didn't.

A friend and fellow pet collector I met in 2008 lost her fight to cancer earlier this year. Last night, I passed her score on warcraftpets.com, and it hit me that our friendly rivalry is over for good.

I'd gotten a few of the new pets, and hit them with stones. This afternoon, I'm wasting some time before work, so I thought I'd update my score on wcpets to see how I'm doing. I'd jumped up a few places on my server's ranks, so went to take a look to see where I am.

I realized I'd passed my friend's score... and it's the last time I'll ever do so. Then I realized that other people will keep updating theirs, and eventually, push her off the first page of scores, where she'd been in the top 10-20 for so long. It broke my heart a little bit.

She was a great lady, always upbeat and cheerful even when her health problems hit her hard. She helped me a lot with my pet collections -- which is most of what I do in WoW (hell, it's how I got my start, selling cross-faction pets). I hadn't seen her on in a month or so, but it still surprised me when a mutual friend let me know she had passed away.

We weren't incredibly close, but I'd known her for nearly nine years; she was one of the first friends I ever made in WoW, and one of the few that had stuck around that long. Sometimes it just hits me that, of all the people I've ever met, all the friends I've ever known, she's the first one that I know for sure that I'll never see again.

I remember her telling me that K'ute was her new favorite pet, how happy she was when she got it. I've given mine her nickname, so she'll always be around in a way.

Thanks for being such an awesome friend. I'll miss you, and I'm sorry I never got to say goodbye.
