I found the reference used for Victor. Posted: 25 Jun 2017 02:12 PM PDT I was looking up Googie architecture and old Las Vegas buildings when I saw this in the background of a photo. I did some research and discovered the Pioneer Club, which has a sign that has an uncanny resemblance to Victor. [link] [comments]
| Posted: 24 Jun 2017 11:58 PM PDT The season pass is £23.99 in the UK, but if you get the Fallout mega bundle (which includes fallout 1, 2, tactics, 3, new Vegas, 4, 4 season pass) it's £19.91 instead. Since I own all the rest anyway this has brought it under £20, which was my original threshold after that whole debacle over it being really expensive when launched. EDIT: I should add this is specific to fallout 4. The bundle includes the goty edition of 3 and the ultimate edition of NV. Both of those include the DLC's for both games but they're not a "package" so I'm unsure if you can get missing DLC this way. EDIT 2: here's a link since I'm getting questions about it. https://imgur.com/gallery/HlTFD EDIT 3: a few people have pointed out that if you buy FO3 game of the year or NV ultimate edition when you already own the bad game, you will get upgraded and have all the DLC for those. | Fallout New Vegas: Max Character Stats (w/ DLC)? Posted: 25 Jun 2017 08:06 AM PDT I am playing New Vegas for the first time and I absolutely love this game! The only Fallout I played before this was 3 and I think this is miles better. I plan on getting all the achievements for this game, and so I was wondering while doing that, how can I build the strongest character in the game (i.e, most possible skill points and SPECIAL points). According to this video I saw, you should max out INT to 10 right off the bat, but from what I was reading on some forums, this is inefficient now? I remember for 3 the best possible character required 9 points in INT. Is this video outdated? How else can I guarantee the maximum number of points for a character? I will be taking the Educated perk, but with the level cap now 50, are those extra 3 points per level it really needed? Can we max out all skills by leveling to 50 alone? Same with the Comprehension perk. Also, what about implants? What's a good SPECIAL distribution to take advantage of implants? Thanks for the help, guys! Loving the game!! [link] [comments] |

Creatures That You're Glad Didn't Mutate Posted: 25 Jun 2017 05:25 AM PDT There are many things that radiation did to the world of Fallout. One of them is mutation of living things, thiugh not all of them did in the games. Tell me, what creatures were you glad not to see mutated? Remember, this only applies to the vanilla games so don't say mod-added creatures count as "being in the game" and cannot be mentioned in this discussion. It's okay to mention different kinds/species of a creature that's already in the game (example: Common Blowflies/Calliphoridae mutated into Fallout's Bloatfly, but Botflies/Oestridae aren't in the game so you can mention them). I hope this is as clear as intended, I really just want to see your guys' ideas. Personally (and I'm using this as an example), I'm glad Tapeworms don't exist in the games. They can "regenerate" and multiply when cut into pieces. [link] [comments]
About to start Fallout 4 for the first time! Posted: 25 Jun 2017 12:20 PM PDT Anything I should know? I've only ever played New Vegas and that was for about 20 minutes. [link] [comments]

You know what never made sense? Why the Diggers are made out to be some huge threat. Posted: 24 Jun 2017 06:06 PM PDT Yeah, they totally screwed up that single Deathclaw. When they outnumbered it by a lot. And a single human is able decimate their numbers, even without Flashbangs. Their digging ability isn't shown to be that great either - they mostly exist in a cavern with easy to dig through stone, sand and rubble. Not like they can easily dig through human structures. No more than a radscorpion anyway. AND they're afraid of light (a lot of that on the surface and outside that canyon), they're afraid of sound AND they're not that tough. They might screw up the Legion and the individual tribes some, but I doubt any serious human settlements or nation would have much to worry from them. A single turret and spotlight and you could decimate masses of them. [link] [comments]
Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate Edition removed from steam Posted: 25 Jun 2017 01:49 PM PDT I cant seam to be able acess the fallout new vegas ultimate edition on steam. Annyone else? http://store.steampowered.com/app/2028016/Fallout_New_Vegas_Ultimate_Edition [link] [comments]
Need Help on Body Armor! Don't have Ballistic weave Posted: 25 Jun 2017 01:15 PM PDT So I murdered the railroad without getting ballistic weave.... I have played some hours after the fact and cannot go back to a previous load. Any recommendations for boosted up body armor? I have the the x01 but I'd love some better armor. I have all the DLCs - do they offer alternatives ? Or could Proctor Teagan possibly sell me the BW ? Thanks for the help [link] [comments]
Scavengers attack me in Fallout 4 and mention the USS Constitution. Posted: 24 Jun 2017 06:04 PM PDT So I finished all the USS Constitution missions and sided with Ironsides. About a month later since I finished those missions I was passing by a bridge and I saw three scavengers. They were not enemies (yet). I walked up and talked to them but the man in the middle said something like "you think you can claim the USS Constitution all to yourself?" They immediately started attacking me. I killed them off easily but I was wondering if it has happened to anyone else. [link] [comments]
[FO4] Has anyone else been able to start making mods from nothing? Posted: 25 Jun 2017 02:42 PM PDT I have mods I want to make. I want to make them myself. I have them all laid out and know what I need to program, but so far all the tutorials for Fallout 4's creation kit consist of "Here's how to make a new weapon" and nothing else. There are huge gaps in what the tutorials cover too. It would be like... "Here's how to change your oil. First you open up the oil cap, pull out the dipstick, do some 'engine stuff' and then put it all back together. Easy!" "tutorials" like https://www.creationkit.com/fallout4/index.php?title=Bethesda_Tutorial_Papyrus_Hello_World are absolute trash, and that's the only tutorial I've been able to find about creating a quest that isn't "Take some other existing quest and modify it." I know basic programming in SQL, but this is just... GARBAGE! [link] [comments]
First time playing FO:NV! I want to start with a fun build! Posted: 25 Jun 2017 08:32 AM PDT I have played a little bit of new vegas but maybe only an hour or two years ago. I would like to get back into it but I don't want a blind run. People love sharing fun builds with a theme. What are some good or fun builds that aren't too challenging (I really don't want a melee run first). Maybe a nerd or a gambler? I'm pretty much willing to try anything except melee only. For instance I did a "Mcree" run on Fallout 4, one with crazy good pistol abilities and extreme reliance on VATS. (Very fun. Would recommend. PM if you want info on this run) I'm so excited to be playing this game through. I'm at work and it's all I want to do right now. After lurking the sub and somehow avoiding spoilers for it after many years, it is time to buckle down. I'm going to make my character tonight so I need help with SPECIAL stats and all! I will update when I make the character. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Jun 2017 02:06 PM PDT ([EDIT] Here's the link of the vid that made me make this thread: ---------------->https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gz5_WKbV1fc) So i personally love bolt action from the aesthetics to the satisfying click and the little challenge of having to plan your shots because you can't just run and gun But what do you think? I just watched a video about how bolt action "sucks" and wanted your opinion explain why you love/hate bolt action rifles [link] [comments]
Anyone know what happened to Vermont? Posted: 25 Jun 2017 05:42 AM PDT I know it was annexed into the New England Commonwelth. But does anyone know what happened to the area that was the state? The bombs that hit New York were pretty far away, so the initial blast wouldn't do that much damage, but since fallout travels far... [link] [comments]
Is the Fallout: New Vegas dlc worth buying? Posted: 25 Jun 2017 12:03 PM PDT So I've played the base game up until the second battle of hoover dam. I was wondering if the dlc was worth buying since it's the steam sale. I've added it in my cart alongside The Witcher 3 GOTY edition and it just reaches my wallet count (around $36). Am I better off spending it on other games? [link] [comments]
What are some good mods for Fallout New Vegas? Posted: 25 Jun 2017 11:34 AM PDT Hi, I'm looking for any good mods that will improve the visuals of Fallout New Vegas. If anyone can direct me to some then that would be great! Also, this is my first Fallout game :) [link] [comments]
Who is your favorite Fallout doctor? Posted: 24 Jun 2017 05:43 PM PDT For all his sass I'd have to say Doc Weathers. He's willing to get out in the thick of things, the most dangerous bits of the Commonwealth, and treat people out there. That's heroism. [link] [comments]

| New to PC looking for suggestions Posted: 25 Jun 2017 02:24 PM PDT Steam sale finally got me. I finally am making the move from Xbox to pc, rig is getting made down the line. Until I save the cash for that I'm stuck using a laptop and until I set up the office can't use a mouse. I see that steam controller is also on sale and was wondering if anyone had thoughts on it for NV? Compared to a track pad on the laptop it's gotten be better. Before you ask I did get 1 & 2 and am very excited for to do a true 1-4. TL;DR Steam controller worth it? Does it help playing NV? I'm stuck on a laptop for a while and trackpad is awful.
