| Why people still build Tranquil Boots on Pudge? Posted: 17 Jun 2017 09:52 PM PDT I've been spamming a bit of pudge lately, and I've got the feeling that Tranquil Boots are actually garbage on him, but people seems to still purchase it. Since the remove of the defence I don't understand why is any good. It just seems that there are better options. For exemple, I always buy Mana Boots, becouse that way while roaming on the map If I fail a Hook at least I can give mana to my teammates on that lane and also it secures that I'll always have mana to throw a hook. I can understant that Tranquil boots can be picked for regen, but I've had no trouble with having low hp, having a pair of tangoes to deward or eat some trees in my way to a gank. And for the movement speed, if you get hit even by a creep you are as slow as any other boots, if you are really searching for some speed, it looks like Phase Boots are way better than Tranquil Boots. Also, with Mana Boots then you can break them and use the Energy Booster to do some other item and the boots for travel. So, Am I missing something about the Tranquil Boots? or are they actually that awfull? [link] [comments]  |
