Here's my guesses

  • Ocarina of Time: 8.5 years (6 months during Link's childhood, 7 year timeskip, 1 year to free all the sages and kill Ganondorf)

  • Majora's Mask: Probably around 4 or 5 rotations.

  • Breath of the Wild: I'm guessing around 6 or so months, but most likely actually around 1-2 months.

Memorial Tattoo Idea?

I'm not going to sugarcoat it for you guys, my best friend/brother in every way but blood took his own life in April. Since then, I've been trying to figure out a suitable memorial tattoo. He was a ridiculously huge Nintendo freak, but we bonded the most over the Legend of Zelda.

As of right now I'm feeling just a simple Master Sword sheathed behind the Hylian shield with his name underneath in Hylian, but seeing as his last name was Hope, I was hoping you guys could help me to expand on that a little further, or maybe even suggest a better tattoo idea.

Basically, I'm just looking for a Zelda themed tattoo to memorialize my best friend. Any and all suggestions are welcome, and I love and cherish you all.

The Art of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - PDF

Hello! Since there's no release by Nintendo of any book featuring the art of BoTW, I decided to make one by myself.

This PDF contains 65 pages of official artworks released by nintendo, compiled in a similar way as did in The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts (official product). I have this book and I based the design of The Art of BoTW (my fanmade PDF) on it, trying to make it seem more as an official product rather than a fanwork.

Because this is the first version, there are only artworks (and some bonus content) but I plan to make another version with concept arts, showing the different covers that we got, the art of the sheikah... you know, more good stuff.

I post it here to know if you people like it. Comments and any constructive criticism is always welcomed. Yes, I know the PDF is around 300 MB, I'm not good at compressing. If anyone is interested, I could upload all the assets I've used so somebody can make its own version.

Bonus: there are some phrases written in ancient sheikah script, and they are actually readable. If you are a true fan, you'll find them entertaiming ;)

The Legend Of Maps: Breath Of the Interactive.

Ive recently discovered this interactive BoTW map, it has a nice clean look, and it uses all the stamps from the original game to mark things. It comes with: All 120 shrines. All 900 Korok Seeds All Towers All boss & guardian locations. Main quests, side quests, and shrine quest shrine locations. On top of that, whenever you click on anything, it opens up a perfect 100% guide for whatever that may be. Certain things, however, are incomplete, so if you can manage, help them complete the map. Next week i got 8 days to play a zelda game and i have Wind Waker HD or Twilight Princess HD available, which one you suggest?

Hey all! As the title mentions, next week i have to sit a house and have basically 8 free days to do whatever. I have a Wii U available and wanted to play one of the two following zelda titles: Wind Waker HD or Twilight Princess HD

Which one would be a good fit for the time i have available? I am kind of a completionist, but more like do every side-quest and not so much collect all skultulas.

I guess its not really great to play trough both of them? Here's my background, maybe it helps with a decision: Zelda 1, A link to the past, links awakening, both oracle games, Ocarina of time, phantom hourglass + spirit tracks, a link between worlds, triforce heroes and breath of the wild.

Bought this for 8.99, but on my Wii U its completely unplayable due to lag.

Its nothing to do with my "setup", or TV, as Wii U games play perfectly.

Is there anything i can do? Pursuing a refund but expecting to have a lot of trouble.

During the tease for the DLC 2 titled the Champions Ballad, the song that Kass is playing is the same one that he plays to you after his quest line. His teacher wrote this song, maybe the DLC will feature Kass' teacher?

BotW Saves and Transfers

I'm playing the game on a borrowed wii u. I've only got it for a month while they are out of the country for work. So I don't think I'll have an issue finishing the main story line but I doubt I'm going to finish this game to my liking in that time. I considered buying a wii u when the price drops (lol nintendo still $400 bucks?) or maybe even a switch should nintendo decide to get any other games I'm interested.

I've read xfering saves from wii-u to u is fine, it goes with the stupid little account you create when you log in but according to threads, there isn't way to transfer save from wii -> switch.

Is that still the case? Has nintendo once again done something stupid again, that will probably keep me from buying a switch? I literally have no interest other than this game at the moment, so there is little reason for me to consider one otherwise.

...but I still saw a scene after the credits; was this not the "true ending" that people sometimes say you need to have all memories to be able to see? It was Link & Zelda walking away from the castle and the 4 champions + the king watching over.

Help finding main midi song from Odyssey of Hyrule

So I'm totally dating myself, but back in the day I used to breathe this website called The Odyssey of Hyrule. When midis used to rule the internet the site would play this really awesome rendition of the main theme of Zelda. The song was apparently called taltlrmx.mid, but I was too dumb to download it back then and I really want to hear it again. Anyone here browse the site back in the day and know what I'm talking about? Also, would anyone know where I could get a copy of that midi? Thanks.
