New God: Cu Chulainn, The Hound of Ulster

  • Passive: Berserk- Cu Chulainn's Mana Bar functions differently than other gods. His Mana is capped at 100 and only regenerates up to 25 Mana. Hitting Abilities, Basic Attacks, or allies and himself taking damage cause Cu Chulainn to gain Mana. After being above 85 Mana for 3 seconds, he goes Berserk. While Berserk, Cu Chulainn gains Power and Maximum Health and his Abilities change.
  • Barbed Spear/Ground Slam- Cu Chulainn thrusts his spear forward, damaging all enemies in front of him and stunning less powerful minions. Successfully hitting an enemy with this ability restores 6 Mana(to a max of 18). Barbs from his spear stick in opponents and reduce their Healing taken for 4s. In his Berserk Form, Cu Chulainn instead slams his massive arms down, damaging and rooting all Enemies in front of him
  • Vent Anger- Cu Chulainn vents his anger as superheated steam, increasing his Movement Speed and draining his Ferocity. Every .5s while in this state, all enemies within range are damaged by the heat.
  • Salmon's Leap/Furious Charge- Cu Chulainn vaults over his spear, leaping to a target location and slamming it down to damage enemies around and in front of him. Successfully hitting an enemy with this Ability restores 6 Ferocity (to a max of 18). In his Berserk Form, Cu Chulainn instead charges forward, damaging and driving all enemies back with him.
  • Spear of Mortal Pain/ War Cry- Cu Chulainn swings his spear in a circle around him, Damaging and knocking up all enemies. Successfully hitting an enemy with this Ability restores 12 Ferocity (to a max of 36).

    All rewards will be handed out at the end of the event if you purchased the bundle even if you did not complete everything

Item Changes

  • Gauntlet of Thebes- Decrease Health from 350 to 300, Decreased Magical and Physical Protections on aura from 20 to 15
  • Sovereignty- Increased Physical Protection from 30 to 40, decreased Physical Protections on aura from 30 to 15
  • Shifter's Shield- Increased cost from 2350 to 2500

God Changes

Da Ji

  • Paolao- Landing Targeter now immediately appears upon manually cancelling this ability

Fafnir

  • Cursed Strength- Changed slow from 20/25/30/35/40 to 20% at all ranks

Ganesha

  • Dharmic Pillars- Changed slow from 20/25/30/35/40 to 35% at all ranks

Nemesis

  • Scales of Fate- Reduced power gained and power lost from 6 to 5%

What if there was a Goodwill requirement to queue for ranked?

So what if there was a small requirement (say 20%) of Goodwill in order to join for ranked. This could reduce the amount of AFKers and BMers. However, this could penalize those who were wrongfully reported and may reduce the amount of ranked playerbase.

small QOL for cu chulainn

console just got him today so idk if this has been changed on pc but on the god avatars in the corner it shows a mana bar which never depletes. i think it should show his rage bar and deplete because sometimes u say "out of mana retreat" and ur team thinks ur full of shit. so yea small change but i think itd be nice to have.

What are the rarest skins?

I've been thinking about what are some of the rarest skins in the game. Here's what I've come up with so far.

Archon Thanatos: I've heard he's not all that rare, but I still feel I should include him given he was the Odyssey award for Season 1 and was the first T5 skin.

Cacodemon X: The original Cacodemon isn't that rare but not as many people play Xbox and fewer have bought the Founder's pack for Xbox then went back to PC to use Cacodemon X.

Winter Olympian Athena: This was only given out for a short period during the Winter Olympics in 2014, as part of a package deal where you got it if you bought the red star skin. In a few months, when the 2018 Winter Olympics take place, this skin may be less rare but for right now, very little people have it.

Poolseidon: One of the original 600 gem skins, Poolseidon was only available for a short time at the end of the beta for 600 gems, which at the time, was considered very expensive. As such, many people didn't buy it making it very rare. Hirez has stated that this skin will never again be able to be purchased, so unlike Winter Olympian this will stay rare.

World Cup Xbalanque: Both of the Xbalanque World Cup skins are extremely rare. In fact, Hirez has stated that the Weltmeister Xbalanque is the rarest skin in the game based on the percentage of players who own it. Twitchymir: In order to have obtained this skin, you needed to stream on Twitch using a utility in Smite for a certain amount of hours. Problem was, the utility was a buggy mess so even if you did stream the required hours there was no guarantee you could get the skin. Eventually, Hirez just removed the utility making it impossible to get the skin. I've heard various rumors that you can send your Twitch hours to Hirez and they'll give you a code or that they're working on a way to make Twitch Ymir obtainable again, but none of them are official. As of right now, this skin is impossible to obtain.

Rage Bakasura: This is another Season 1 skin that is no longer available. In order to obtain this skin, you had to be Gold V or better when Season 1 of Smite ended. Why this skin is so rare should be self-explanatory. Not many people played Smite back then, and even fewer were able to reach Gold V.

Crikeydile Sobek/ Cangaceiro Vamana + a few others: These are the skins where they weren't part of any special promo and din't require any special actions. These skins are just very rare drops from chests that don't appear all that often. The Sobek and Vamana skins are the ones that come to mind but there are a few others in this vein.

Alienware Ra: This skin was only given away during an Alienware event. The only way to get this skin is to get a code from Alienware and these are EXTREMELY rare, making this skin very rare. EDIT: I've been informed this skin isn't that rare, so don't pay attention to this section.

TSM Apollo: This is another Season 1 event skin. This skin was released to commemorate TSM winning the Smite Launch Tournament. It is unavailable for purchase and can only be obtained through a very rare chest drop.

That about finishes it up. I know there are probably some rare skins I missed. Additionally, there is conflict over how rare each skin is. One source said that Alienware Ra was very rare while another said that Alienware gives out lots of codes each year. Any feedback/constructive criticism is welcome and encouraged as long as it's respectful. Also, make sure to say which skins you think are very rare. Thank you for your time!
