| Posted: 18 Jun 2017 01:25 PM PDT Title really says it all. You could maybe bias things in slight favour of more spins, but if you have to walk a long way for the only single stop around you, then the stop will give you more. Not based on time or frequency of spins, but on how far the player themselves has walked. It rewards walking by making the pokestop payout bigger. Hell, if you'd prefer to walk a different longer scenic route with less stops, well, you can, and you'll get about the same rewards from the pokestop at the end. [link] [comments] | ||

| Would love to know number of unique pokestops visited. Posted: 18 Jun 2017 04:03 AM PDT Part of the game for me is exploration. I know how many I visited which is nice but if we could k ow how many unique stops visited (like ingress) that would be super. To be able to collect something from the stop (like portal keys in ingress) would be phenomenal!! Edit: Heck , sell me containers ( like ingress ) and make the items training books with some facts about pokemon we could read , maybe lore. A chance for Niantic to make some money and fill the OCD collector void. I play ingress almost exclusively to collect portal keys. Would love it in Pokemon Go [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 18 Jun 2017 09:10 PM PDT Got the following: Gligar Chansey Gligar Dratini Mareep Lapras Pineco Larvitar Pineco 5 good Pokemon out of 9. Pretty stoked since it put me just 13 candy away from an Ampharos and also gave me a good Lapras. [link] [comments] | ||

| [Discussion] Would a Daily Lotto fit in this game? Posted: 18 Jun 2017 06:03 PM PDT Edit Sorry for formatting. I hate the way reddit won't let me do anything with text :/ Like in the main Pokemon games, each day you can play the lotto (anytime from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm) for your chance to win a prize (your number has always been based on your 5-digit player ID). The top prize has always been a Master Ball, and I think that shouldn't change. Where the lowest prize was always something really small. For this game, I think the lowest prize should be a selection of 3 items of the players choice, between Potion, Revive, and Pokeball (you can pick 2 Pokeballs and 1 Revive, for example, or just 3 Pokeballs, etc etc). This essentially is the same, at minimum, as a single PokeStop spin. Higher prizes could include selection of a regional Pokemon added to your inventory, a 2nd Infinite Incubator, PokeCoins, Stardust, etc etc. I made a topic on GameFAQs like this, and are porting it to here with some changes. Below are the prizes I had suggested there, so let's see what y'all think: Top Prize (all 5 numbers match): 1 Master Ball 1 Infinite Use Incubator (subsequent wins yields 5 3-Time Use Incubators)* 3 Lure Module OR 3 Incense OR 3 Lucky Egg 3 Rare Egg (A Pokemon from the Rare/Ultra Rare category is selected at random) 50 Candy to a Pokemon of your choice 100,000 Stardust 500 PokeCoins 2nd Prize (4 numbers match): 1 Infinite Use Incubator (subsequent wins yields 3 3-Time Use Incubators)* 2 Lure Module OR 2 Incense OR 2 Lucky Egg 2 Rare Egg (A Pokemon from the Rare/Ultra Rare category is selected at random) 25 Candy to a Pokemon of your choice 25,000 Stardust 250 PokeCoins 3rd Prize (3 numbers match): 1 Regional Pokemon of your choice (IVs/Moveset random, Location Set as Lotto Prize to avoid fakes) 1 Lure Module OR 1 Incense OR 1 Lucky Egg 1 Rare Egg (A Pokemon from the Rare/Ultra Rare category is selected at random) 5,000 Stardust 100 PokeCoins 4th Prize (2 numbers match): Choice of up to 15 items, 2,500 Stardust, 50 PokeCoins: Pokeball Great Ball Ultra Ball Potion Super Potion Hyper Potion Max Potion (limit of 5) Revive Max Revive (limit of 5) Razz Berry Nanab Berry Pinap Berry Players cannot pick items they have not unlocked. 5th Prize (1 number matches): Choice of up to 6 items, 1,000 Stardust, 10 PokeCoins: Pokeball Great Ball Ultra Ball Potion Super Potion Hyper Potion Revive Razz Berry Nanab Berry Pinap Berry Players cannot pick items they have not unlocked. Consolation Prize (0 number matches): Choice of up to 3 items: Pokeball Revive (limited to 2) Potion Super Potion (limited to 1) Razz Berry Nanab Berry *=If already claimed from a different prize, you cannot claim again and go straight to the subsequent prize (for example, you got a 2nd place prize for the Inf Incubator, you cannot again claim it in the top prize should you win again, you'll automatically get the 5 3-Time Use Incubators again) The main topic of discussion in the thread on GFAQs was how the numbers are selected. I personally feel the numbers selected for you should be unique to your account, as this would decrease the chances of there being multiple daily winners and would not destroy the balance of the game. In order to play the Lotto, you would go to the Shop and in the upper left corner would be the icon that you can click on and then play. What do you all think? Feel free to make prize change suggestions. I am not completely confident in my choices for the prizes up there. :Edit: FYI, if your inventory is full (eggs, items, Pokemon, etc etc), you have until the end of the day to make room and claim your prizes, otherwise they disappear. Additionally, I forgot to mention, I think playing the lotto for 7 days straight should yield a 2nd drawing on the 2nd day (so 2 chances to win) and every 28 days street (4 weeks) should yield like 3 or 4 or even 5 drawings instead of 1. | Posted: 18 Jun 2017 12:11 PM PDT Two days ago I was about to walk into my house when I saw a silhouette on my radar. My extensive experience with "Who's that Pokémon??" Told me that it was Venusaur, the starter I'm the furthest from getting. It was right around the block at a pokestop. As I was about to go on my hunt, however, my neighbor was getting out of her car. I said hello, and she struck up a conversation. I'm moving soon, and she had all kinds of questions for me. This lady, bless her heart, can talk for hours, and by the time I shook her off to go grab my prize, he had ran. I'm obviously not upset at all - I'm close to evolving anyways and love my neighbors, but I was wondering if anyone else had a "caught block" story! [link] [comments] | ||
| Does anyone else like to look at where they caught their Pokémon? Posted: 18 Jun 2017 12:11 PM PDT I love to see which town I was in, or if I was in a foreign country I like to reminisce and show my friends. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 18 Jun 2017 02:55 PM PDT Clickbait Pokemon GO Youtube Channel. Seriously. Not only do they Make incorrect news, but many of them also have spoofing tutorials. They teach People to spoof, and they lie. I hope soon Niantic/Nintendo threaten leagal action against these guys. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 18 Jun 2017 02:33 PM PDT Mine is Snorlax... I've have hatched 308 eggs and since haven't gotten any. :( It is the last gen 1 pokedex entry I need. [link] [comments] | ||
| TIL There are probably Pokemon on Antarctica Posted: 18 Jun 2017 03:38 AM PDT I was following the Ingress Intel map, and noticed a whopping great link headed south from NZ teminating at portal at McMurdo Station. As we all know, where there's portals, there's XM, and where there's XM, there's Pokemon. Anyway, I thought it was mildly interesting. Now back to your regularly scheduled gym hype. | Posted: 18 Jun 2017 09:00 AM PDT Its Sunday and I still havent seen a single Lapras! I've been playing since day one and never caught one, I'm gonna be super salty if I can't catch one during this event. Its gonna be my last chance to catch one for a long time most likely. I spent all day yesterday running aroudn Portland with no luck. Anyone else feel my pain? :( [link] [comments] | ||
