If you can't deal with this card the very next turn after it was played you might as well just concede. It snowballs so freaking hard on its own. Other snowbally cards like Mana Wyrm, Tunnel Trogg (not in standard anymore but it's a good example), Frothing Berserker and so on requires other cards to snowball, they just won't dominate on their own.

When it comes to Vicious Fledgling all you need to do is drop the card and attack face. Nothing else is needed.

I can't believe this neutral card is allowed to be as strong as it is.

And yes, I know this topic has been brought up many times before but the only way to change things in a situation like this is to keep talking about it.

Since yesterday, I had 2 Arena runs with 1 and 2 Vicious Fledglings respectively.

I somehow managed to get 18 straight misses on the Windfury option and I have the clips to prove it.

Everyone complains that Blizzard/Team 5 never does "X" thing/promotion/update with the game, when Blizzard/Team 5 finally does something about it, everyone here acts like an entitled brat and STILL finds reasons to complain.

Scrolling through the posts regarding the legendary changes, and now the Un'Goro pack promotion, people are still salty and angry for what? I just read that people say Blizzard is doing this as a money grab and that no one buys cards 3 months into an expansion.

These are just some of the comments that this ungrateful subreddit is spewing out. r/hesrthstone on almost a daily basis complains that packs are too expensive, so Blizzard releases a promotion where you're literally getting free packs and no one bats an eye. "Oh how convenient of them to time it like this", "Oh, I can't believe how the legendary patch isn't live", "Oh, what a cash grab!". Well, to be honest, if they didn't even announce that change in the first place you'd still be in the same position that you are in now. Bonus packs are just exactly that, a BONUS. No one is forcing you to buy these packs.

Some of you are really just a hopeless and entitled bunch that will always find a reason to complain.

I just won Seatstory Cup VII - AMA!

Greetings everyone, Mitsuhide here and today I'm doing an AMA for you guys as a follow-up on my victory at Seatstory Cup past weekend!

The structure was double bo5 groups into bo7 single elimination. All matches were played in last hero standing format and rogue was my fifth class. Decks went 24w 8l in total and each of them except for the druid sweeped exactly once.

After 2 years I can't reach rank 5 for the first time

Hey guys so since 2 years im constantly getting my rank 5 or legend rank. This was not easy of course but I always managed to do it at the end of the month... But not this month... I tried 20 different decks but cant really in 3 in a row. It feels exhausting and I don't know what's wrong. Is it me or the game? Maybe good decks are everywhere around nowadays. And the best part is if I queue hunter I get priested. If I queue Priest I get pirate warrior and so on... Any ideas? I'm at stuck at rank 12

Today I wanted to share another episode of the Deck Tech Series where we analyze popular archetypes and go over the different variants that you can use to climb the ladder efficiently. Each edition will feature the core cards of the archetype and highlight each variant by discussing tech cards and evaluating the deck's pros and cons.

This week we are shining a light on Wild Token Druid and its main variants: Egg Token Druid that utilizes sticky deathrattle minions to keep flooding the board and Beast Token Druid that is closer to the Token Druid we know in the current Standard metagame with more Beast synergies.

Hearthstone at Scale

What if the cards in hearthstone scaled according to their mana cost?

Example 1: 1-mana 1/1 minion, then 2-mana 2/2 minion.

Example 2: A 1-mana 1/1 Alleycat summons a 1/1 cat. What if the same thing existed that cost 6 mana? 6/6 summons a 6/6 for 6 mana?

hearthstonemetadecks.com now with win rates!

Greetings!

This is just a quick update that thanks to the amazing guys at metastats.net we now have win rates for almost every deck on HMD.

We've also pimped our design a little bit, so we hope that it's now easier than ever to find the perfect deck to compete (hearthstonemetadecks.com/top).

We've got aggregate win rates for the common meta decks, but also individual win rates for specific decklists, so you can compare how well different variants of a given meta deck perform.

We've got a few more features coming down the road, but we wanted to let you know about this update today, as the win rates might help you pick the right decks to play in the final days of the season.

As always, if you have any ideas or suggestions what we could do better, please don't hesitate to let us know. :-)

If anyone has black screen on Windows, here's the solution (AMD GPU, may also work on Nvidia)

I personally was experiencing black screen after updating the newest AMD drivers. Turns out that in the latest patch Blizzard updated Hearthstone to run by default on Direct3D 11 (previously was 9).

The thing that helped my is to force the game to run on D3D9. Go to Battle.net (or Blizzard App) > Hearthstone > Options > Game Settings > check "Additional command line arguments" and write in the text box "-force-d3d9".

If anyone from Blizzard is reading this, please fix the rendering engine in the next patch.

ok sounds simple enough

but the email response I got from blizzard said this:

Thank you for your contact, this is XXXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXX here, as I understand you are inquiring about the duplicate legendary card notice, please understand it is only applied to the next expansion not current.

As I understand you want to start collecting pack for the next expansion, I have some bad news this new rule will only applied to card pack purchased after the expansion launch. As of now the same rule still applies.

If you are still buying packs now I would suggest that you open them as the new expansion is unsure of launch date and I would advise you should enjoy the card that are currently available. Besides if you destroy enough you can always create the card you need for winning.

I love Control

Remember the days of blackrock? of Wallet warrior? i was broke as hell at the time and too lazy to grind expansions, but i crafted most epics (double shield slam+ Gorhowl)(opened a Brawl in a pack) for some reason, last week i decided to make a FatWarrior after i crafted my N'zoth

the deck was simple, gain armor and abuse deck size by pumping your decklist full of Direhorn Hatchlings (don't have Elise), i did pretty well with my initial format, it based itself around Whirlwing+KingMosh into N'zoth, even had a Cornered sentry and some draw, today the deck has virtually no draw and, of course, Primordial Drakes, lots of them(4 mana 4/8 ftw).

Yesterday i found myself in a dilemma, i had 1600 dust and wanted a legendary, i thought to myself "I could make Grommash, or Alexstraza - heard she's going to wild, might get some free dust and help out my Giant Quest Mage, oh shit Ysera exists" so i ask some friends and settle for Ysera(did i make the right choice?), went from rank 15 3 stars to rank 11 4 stars (now 3, lost to Dpriest)

I love control, and coming from a hunter main btw. thanks for reading my story, have a good day

In CN service, the khadgar is back

In CN service, you can get khadgar by winning five match(PVP) in hots. But I thought the khadgar is no longer available. And there is no other loots for those who bought the khadgar. Just feeling little unhappy for bliz break the promise.
