Posted: 18 Jun 2017 03:58 AM PDT I don't know if this has always been an issue, or if it's a new interaction, but it hasn't happened to me before, and has now happened twice, and I've read other threads and people complaining about it. Basically if you get knocked back, in this case ranger lb4, you can fly into a wall and just be stuck behind it and either wait there the entire game because you can't /gg or disconnect and reconnect, to have lost the game anyway. Happens at mid in temple of the silent storm, I think because there's the hollow pillars very near to the cp so the lb knockback is used to get someone off the point, but if the pillar is behind them you just get stuck in it. I'm not sure if rangers are abusing it and that's why it's happening so frequently, but it's entirely gamebreaking. It's not just a fluke if it's happening this often. I'm just extra salty because I've been getting flamed afterwards for 'dc' from some peruvian shithead for 10 minutes, despite it being either that and getting back 1min later or sitting afk for the entire game. I've bug reported it, but I know anet reads reddit sometimes and I mean the report system is just entirely worthless. [link] [comments]  | ||

But besides speculations and some little information from short NPC dialogs (like the new owner "Isgarren") we know nothing about it. Do you think we will ever go to the tower or at least get more information? | Selecting/Repackaging items from Chest of Black Lion Goods Posted: 18 Jun 2017 12:13 PM PDT Over the time I've been playing Guild Wars 2 I received great quantities of items from Chests of Black Lion Goods and Black Lion Chests clogging up my bank & inventory. I'm talking about these:
I was wondering whether ArenaNet could adjust the system so these items become more convenient. Two ideas to make these items more useful:
Not only would this save up a lot of space in the player's bank (especially from all the black lion salvage kits) but also allows players to drop the item in the shared inventory slot so that we can use the appropriate item when we need it. Otherwise for the 1% of the rich players who already have a permanent version of the item can turn it into something more useful. [link] [comments]  | ||

I quit the game because I was somehow addicted to other games but still I love the game concept, play and lore. So what kind of things should I take note on while leveling? I'm currently a level 28 Female Guardian. What can you advise to me or tell me about the game changes? I find it hard to find details about the game on the current patch as most everyone is concerned about the WvW. I'm enjoying the game and this game brought me back to my 12 hours game time everyday lol(RIP Carpal Tunnel). I'm also gonna buy Heart of Thorns too, are there any retails/digital copy that has less price? I will buy it right away if there's one. | Posted: 18 Jun 2017 02:01 PM PDT I've lately been messing around trying to see just what the max one could ever expect to get out of a Condition Staff Tempest is. Let me make one thing clear up front: this is NOT intended or expected to come close to competing with power staff or condition dagger meta builds. I just don't think that's within the realm of the possible! Rather, it's for the sake of those who like the Staff and Condition damage and want to run such a thing for fun or for whatever reason. I have been able to max out at 25.5K DPS, but bear in mind that I'd hardly consider myself a top player, four of my gear pieces are Trailblazer's when they should be Viper's, and I have no infusions. As such, I would imagine that the ceiling is a few K higher. Also keep in mind that I'm doing this SOLO. Doing it with a group would make use of Arcane Power/Elemental Surge and push it considerably higher, but of course, again, nowhere near the meta. In any case, I'm posting to get feedback from others who may have tried this to see if there's a better way of doing it, either in terms of build or rotation. The general idea that seems to work the best is starting with the meta power rotation and replacing power skills like Lava Font with condi ones like Flame Burst and Burning Retreat. Beyond that, I've tried a few different things:
Using the earth line, I've tried swapping to earth while using Frost Bow and overloading before going back to fire (similar to swapping to Air while using FGS in the meta power staff build). The idea is to take advantage of the Frost Bow's 20% Condition Duration to push Earth Overload's bleeds to max duration and stack a bunch of bleeds to damage and keep Earth's +5% damage to bleeding up. However, this is consistently lower DPS (by a good margin) than just staying in fire at all times. What I've found works best (without a group, anyways, but I'm thinking that if you're in group content you'd probably not be doing this anyways?) is taking the earth line, replacing Arcane Power with Conjure Frost Bow, hitting Glyph of Elemental Power on Cooldown, and doing: 1 - Earth Overload (to proc Harmonious Conduit) 2 - Fire 3 - Signet of Fire 4 - Flame Burst 5 - Burning Retreat (on top of target) 6 - Firey Great Sword 7 - FGS #2 8 - FGS #5 9 - Fire Overload 10 - FGS #2 11 - Flame Burst 12 - Conjure Frost Bow 13 - Signet of Fire 14 - Frost Bow #4 15 - Drop Frost Bow 16 - Burning Retreat Over Target 17 - Flame Burst 18 - Pick up FGS 19 - FGS #2 20 - FGS #5 21 - Fire Overload 22 - Signet of Fire 23 - FGS #2 24 - Drop FGS 25 - Flame Burst 26 - Conjure Frost Bow 27 - Frost Bow #4 28 - Drop Frost Bow 29 - Burning Retreat Over Target 30 - Flame Burst 31 - Meteor Shower From this point, you do essentially the same rotation picking up at #6, but wherever you'd do Firey Greatsword stuff, you replace it with Meteor Shower (and Lava Font, if cooldowns require it) until the FGS is up again. As you go longer, the cooldown for Signet of Fire seem to "creep up" and be ready a little earlier in the rotation, so just make sure to use it as the #1 priority skill whenever it's ready. Has anyone found a better way to go? Can anyone suggest modifications to make this better? Again, I understand that this is far from ideal, but I'm just trying to see what the "most ideal" of far from ideal is here! [link] [comments]  | ||
