Dust Mouret Casting Posted: 18 Jun 2017 07:59 AM PDT Does anybody agree that Dust mouret his casting at dreamhack is pretty poor... This guy does the same Blu used to do, doesn't stop talking, sometimes it's good to just take a break and give the other caster some room or just have some silence in general. At the moment it sounds like he's solo casting even tho Metuz is duo casting with him. He also doesn't seem to have great chemistry with Metuz, there's no small talk between the 2 casters, no banter like anders/semmler and sadokist/henry G have. I guess I'm not the only one that is disappointed by the Operation hydra. Posted: 18 Jun 2017 04:21 PM PDT I didn't want to post this right after the operation released, because it was new and everybody would jump on the hype train and say it is so much fun, but it's been a month since the release of hydra already. We have all played it in completion and should be able to come up with some conclusion by now. Now, let's talk about the operation itself, I mean compare it to old operations, this is the average expected operations. First, the game modes are not distributed evenly, Weapon expert is a forced competitive event, not everyone wants to play C4 competitive because not everybody wants to sit down and commit to a 45 mins long match where you need to stay focus with your headset, many people just wanna chill with no sound on and pew pew pew everything with just a mouse/keyboard, Wingman is also a shortened version of C4 competitive but I can't choose map, at least map pool is very little (or is it fixed already?), they should have distributed some game modes from Wargame as an alternative to Weapon expert and Wingman. And honestly, some game modes like Trigger Discipline are not even balanced, didn't even bother trying to understand what you are doing in hunter-gathers. Second, we didn't have any Phoenix compound mission, that means no new toy like the tactical awareness grenade, syringe, etc. Thought we were going to at least have some new toy like MP5SD but that's fine at least we get to play with the new heavy suit finally. Third, some maps like BlackGold, Insertion, Lite, have frame rate issues, I keep getting massive stutter in the center area of BlackGold but I'm running around 200FPS. Fourth, miss management with the jackpot tier item, you should have release the Hydra case during the Canal update, and you should have release the Spectrum case during the operation hydra update instead, gloves (old gloves) makes no sense to me since they are not even new. I mean I can't say I didn't see this coming on the day of hydra release when I see 6 out of 6 operation skin collections are repeated from previous operation (Same as Wildfire, same as Bloodhound). Just because the Cobblestone, G&M and Rising Sun are still expensive does not mean you should continue to bring them back, Cache/ChopShop/Overpass are already very flooded and very old from July 2014. I would expected at least 3 collection to be completely new after like a year of waiting, but no. I hope you realized the skin hype in general is dying or already dead ever since the crash caused by the gambling ban, steam summer sale and the stalemate continues, it's really just all about knives/coverts, any sub-classified tier, no one care anymore. I wouldn't post this writing if this is just an operation released a month right after the conclusion of Wildfire, but this was a post 10 month gap operation. All in all, it feels like this operation hydra is rush released, and is some kind of filler update just like the Canal update, the Canal update was released randomly out of no reason but probably a background wallpaper just for the Spectrum box? And now same for the hydra box? Even though, I'm a big fan of new operation hype train, but still I would prefer Valve devote their time/resource on actually fixing the core gameplay, bugs for CS:GO in general rather than making new stuff just to have a reason to release a new case. I'm very confused after like years of complain with the infest of cheaters in MM, pistol imbalances, UMP being overpowered, these still only get so little attention and get a half arsed fix. My squad always have to deal with smurf to the point that they are tired and wouldn't play MM already because the smurfs can't handle the closet cheaters up there at highest rank brackets and need to passive derank. So, where did all the money that people spend on unboxing go to? Let's not start mentioning the 128 tick servers that we are so going to get. I'm not the only one that gets bored of the operation so quickly.
