| [In 4 Hours] [NA] De_Work Playtest + Community Night 10-mans Posted: 27 Jun 2017 02:30 PM PDT Note to non NA players: We have separate weekly AU/NZ and EU events that occurred earlier this evening. You may participate in this event if you wish, but for the sake of fairness, NA players will have priority in joining games during this event. Community NightIt's time for the official CS:GO Reddit Community Night and playtesting!! Community Night + Playtesting is a weekly Tuesday evening event in which we play 5v5 games(10mans not scrims) with other redditors on our own 128-tick servers with competitive settings on classic maps (i.e. Active Group and older competitive maps). The night will last for a few hours, so feel free to drop in whenever you're free! When Is It?The NA event begins four hours from this thread being posted. Community Night and Playtesting begin at the time specified below, converted to the major NA timezones for your convenience:
If you would like weekly alerts for the start of our events, feel free to join the Community Night Steam Group! Announcements are made at the minute the event starts, so you won't miss a thing. How do I join?To join, simply connect to our TeamSpeak3 server and hop in the Community Night lobby to get put into a game by an admin. Here are the server details: Server Address: ts.redditcsgo.com Note: When connecting, please include your rank at the beginning of your name like so: "MGE-Jpon9". De_Work PlaytestingWe are inviting everyone to join us in a play testing session for De_Work (workshop)! How do I participate? The details are identical to those found above for Community Night -- join the same TeamSpeak server and include your rank at the beginning of your name. Playtesting happens concurrently with Community Night, so just hop in at some point in the night after Community Night begins and we'll get you hooked up with a game! If you would like to be notified when the playtest starts you can join our Playtesting Steam Group. After you have played a game or two on the map, please submit your feedback in the previously posted AU/NZ event thread in the form of a comment! Be detailed and constructive :) To map makersWe are taking applications for playtesting your competitive maps. Special thanks to for generously donating servers for the Reddit Community Nights and Playtesting. [link] [comments] | ||||||||

| Posted: 27 Jun 2017 07:35 AM PDT A little while back, I had an idea that I passed around with some of my colleagues in the industry, about casting some low tier Counter-Strike. No, I'm not talking about NA CSGO here. I am talking about as low as you can get. SilverCasting was what I came up with. I know there have been some channels on occasion that have hosted some matches at these low ranks for entertainment, but I am going to do this on a consistent basis. What I hope to accomplish with this isn't just to have a consistent stream schedule of hilarious, and something frustrating matches to watch, but also to allow individuals who would like a chance to try casting, to try it. In an environment where they won't be judged nearly as harsh as if they were casting the major finals. The schedule I am looking to run for these broadcasts is Mon-Weds-Friday from 7pm EST until 10pm EST starting July 3rd. It will be a solo project at first, but as time goes on and depending on how the viewership and follower base grows, I will try to get special guest casters on to enjoy the fun along side myself. You can find the channel here ---> twitch.tv/silvercasting I will try and cover as many low tier games as I can, but I might also throw in the occasional Global elite / Supreme match from time to time as well. Hope to see you guys there! [link] [comments] | ||||||||

| BUG: walking to crouching inaccuracy Posted: 27 Jun 2017 07:43 AM PDT Hey, this is just a reminder. I found this bug 2 months ago: https://youtu.be/BU9ajSFzuLM TL;DW: when you walk and press crouch, inaccurac increases instead of instantly decreasing. This leads to a lot of csgo'd situations! (edit: I emailed Valve for a third time now) [link] [comments] | ||||||||
| Watching NA/SA players play EU FPL is amazing Posted: 27 Jun 2017 11:27 AM PDT All the players seem to be having fun, and seeing the k1o + cold combo is amazing. the interaction between NA players and EU players is entertaining as fuck to watch, and I hope NA players keep playing FPL when they come to EU. Also, cold's english is pretty good [link] [comments] | ||||||||
