| Why don't we see wind lace juggernaut? Posted: 03 May 2017 09:27 AM PDT It's the perfect remedy to jugg's MS nerf and his massive loss to kill potential early? Jugg's build is pretty slot efficient he usually only needs PMS, phase, aquila, TP, and he has two slots empty until he starts building diffusal. Hell, the hero spends half the first 15 min running around camps so the item doesn't have uni dimensional utility. An other point is that phase gives % based MS increase so a wind lace ends up netting +- 25 MS increase. Let alone when he finishes yasha (also % based MS increase) he becomes a fricking race car For the next patch I expect Icefrog to incorporate the lace into Yasha maybe then it will become a staple in Jugg's build. | Trouble closing out games at low tier play Posted: 03 May 2017 07:06 AM PDT I'm a player who regularly bounces between 1.5 and 1.7k and I'm having a problem with games where I do well but can't seem to actually translate that into a win. A 18 9 echantress game, 22 11 invoker, 22 14 meepo, in curious as to why I'm losing games like this I can't really understand why. https://www.dotabuff.com/players/95489187 is my dotabuff, also afterwards I started queuing at 1 am so ignore the most recent 4 games I was just playing at a time where I wasn't able to function. | Need tips on warlock, and whether or not to go midas Posted: 03 May 2017 01:02 PM PDT I've had games where I have that gloves of haste languishing in my inventory with no chance in hell of getting that recipe. But I see pro players going for very late midases as well. Should you go for it when you're behind? Cause it doesn't seem like warlock has any cheap items that go with him, excluding generic support items like force staff and glimmer capes. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 03 May 2017 08:16 AM PDT Usually when I play Slark, I have mana issues with him. I like starting with 8 tangoes stout/or 4tangos PMS or if I have a easy lane I'll go quelling stout 4tangos. The next item I build is most likely raindrops or talon to speed up my farming ability while being able to spam pact with lvl 6 ult to farm aggressively and making some space for my team, I also like build aquilia so I can stay on the map longer (I'll now have raindrops aqulia and treads so I don't ever go back to base unless I die). before going Shadow Blade My problem arrives when its midgame, to go Echosabre or straight into Silveredge. The prices are almost similar but echosabre gives you better stats for its price. When you upgrade SB into Silver edge you get quite a few benefits I)Break II)50% damage reduction III) Lower cooldown on Silveredge compared to SB (allows you to weave in and out better to regen during scrims). III)Lower mana cost compared to SB. A lot of people build Echo before SE, and if someone convince why my 1.9k MMR brain is a bad idea would be extremely useful. I don't know if its just me but that came off as extremely passive aggressive, so just ignore it (I promise I am just confused why, I dont hate any of u bbys). [link] [comments]  |

How do you keep your team from disintegrating at the tiniest setback. | Posted: 02 May 2017 04:54 PM PDT I couldn't help but notice how much value ppl in Kiev seemed to be getting out of solar crest. But, I never catch exactly what they are doing with it? So... Is it better to place the active on a teammate or an enemy? Or, is it a case by case situation (and if so, what and why?) More specifically, I have seen some caster recently (can't remember who) saying it is good against legion commander. But, am I casting it on LC, or the ally being dueled? Thanks! [link] [comments]  |
