Outside of the early "quest rogue" complaints, this subreddit hasn't complained about the competitive meta whatsoever. There's a broad variety of viable decks in each class, and the meta feels incredibly fluid. Props to Team 5 for Journey to Un'Goro - I believe this is the best expansion ever released to Hearthstone, and I've been playing since Vanilla. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 01 May 2017 08:18 PM PDT I believe Blizzard when they say there's no problem with the algorithm and Legendaries aren't being repeated more than normal. But statistically speaking, someone has to have very bad luck. But I don't get why there is a quest card for every class instead of one non-class legendary that gives each class their quest. I cannot justify spending money on this game anymore. I'm done. I quit the game. No hard feelings. Yes, I'm salty right now but looking back it was good entertainment for 3 years. I sincerely, and without sarcasm, wish people keep enjoying the game. EDIT: I don't know why it matters but a lot of people are talking about it so here it goes: I did not open the 120 packs in one sitting. I bought the 50 on preorder. The first 2 Pyros came from the those. I got 11 packs from Arena which I opened immediately as I got them. After the 3 free packs, I bought 40. I used gold to get to the 120. The fourth Pyros and my salt came on the 118th pack. EDIT 2: After reading all the comments I'm gonna give Gwent a try, sounds interesting. But I'll do so in a week or two. I went to my collection to disenchant the golden common I got for reaching my rank last season and I accidentally crafted another copy of it for 400 dust. I got really frightened but I saw the DE button next to it which showed 400 dust. I quickly pressed it and I was happy to have my dust back. Thanks Team 5 for implementing this. | Can we talk about how ridiculously over-statted Gentle Megasaur is? Posted: 02 May 2017 08:15 AM PDT I think this is the sleeper-card of the set and players are quickly realizing how overpowered this card is. If you're playing murlocs, Gentle Megasaur has the potential to be a permanent Bloodlust, for one less mana, with a 5/4 body attached. Windfury is a class-specific spell that gives the effect to one minion for 2 mana, and Gentle Megasaur is a neutral minion that can give it to all your minions. I just don't understand why Blizzard keeps releasing these minions that pass the vanilla test and have insanely powerful abilities as well. This card would see the exact same amount of play now as a 4/3, maybe with even less stats. The stats of minions needs to reflect their cost and abilities, or else power creep in this game is going to really get out of hand. And to top it all off, it's a beast, which is relevant thanks to Curator. Yea, you're not always going to get the adapt you want, but you're always going to get something good, and certainly something worth it. Since the minion already passes the vanilla test there's no downside at all for having such ridiculous blowout potential in your deck. Comparing the card to either Lightfused Stegodon or Verdant Longneck would lead anyone to believe that the balance team is either clueless or really wanted to force the Murloc package down our throats. Edit: I actually forgot that druids had a 4 mana spell with no body that just adapts your minions. What the fuck? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Let players play recipe decks against the innkeeper even if they don't have all the cards Posted: 01 May 2017 12:01 PM PDT I'd really like to test out a few legendaries/epics from the new set, especially a few quests, but I can't justify crafting them when I don't know 100% if I will like them. 1600 dust is a large investment, and if it doesn't work out it will leave the player feeling really bad for having crafted it. It's bad enough not having access to all these quests which were the main theme of the new set, I think we should atleast be able to test them out in a non tavern brawl environment. I wouldn't even mind if they limited the amount of times you could play with it. I think the opportunity it would give would help aid us in spending our dust wisely. [link] [comments]  | ||

They were at 15 health with a tar creeper on board plus two other minions. I have auctioneer and Vilespine slayer. I don't have the game recorded, but just play this while you're reading.
