Posted: 08 May 2017 07:01 AM PDT Been on/off watching the EU vs CN tournament, and these two are amazing!! I wish we actually got more pros/ladder veterans casting games... one might argue it's less "professional" and that they're just shooting the breeze, not actually casting, but I'm a HUGE fan of the banter and it's definitely worth it for the times where their actual insight into pro plays pays off! They actually discuss play lines, and they always see some amazing ones that I hadn't even thought of, it's actually teaching me a lot! Also, they've been casting for hours on end every day and that surely can't be easy, so yeah... shoutout to these 2 amazing boys, we appreciate you! [link] [comments]
I unpacked the legendary that I just crafted literally yesterday... Posted: 08 May 2017 01:46 AM PDT Whenever I see an "It feels so bad to get a duplicate legendary" post on this sub, I just shrug it off because I presume it won't ever happen to me. Then I unpack an Edwin Van Cleef right after I crafted it yesterday :( 1600 dust down the drain, feelshorribleman. [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 May 2017 07:54 PM PDT Since it's something some people have spent loads of money on, and just from the perspective of your sort of digital ownership, this is great news. Glad to hear Blizzard allows for this sort of thing. The response from Blizzard support about writing a recipient of your collection into your will: Whenever an account owner passes away, in order to change the account ownership we will require several pieces of information.
Now, not everyone who passes away leaves behind some sort of documentation indicating who they want their account to go to, so depending on who is requesting ownership of the account, we will only assist if they are somehow related to the individual who has died. This can even be a step-parent and step-child situation. I hope I've provided the information you requested, we sometimes do ask for more identification when it comes to how the deceased was related to the person asking for ownership of the account, but each case is handled differently depending on the situation at hand. We have had friends requesting another person's account and we understand that death is a delicate manner so we strive to do our best to help out the best we can. [link] [comments]

It is time to get rid of the "Worthy Opponent" Posted: 07 May 2017 11:20 PM PDT Seriously. I don't want to fight against worthy opponent, this game is not meant for that. This game is meant for memes, netdecks, BM and stories to tell. Not for worthy or honourable games. I want to face such legends like world class paste eater, my old roommate, THE Roach Boy and most of all, I want to disturb the very fabric of reality itself as I play against myself in you vs. your guild leader match. [AMA] Shoop, Dreamhack Austin winner Posted: 08 May 2017 09:18 AM PDT Hi, Reddit! I won Dreamhack last weekend as a relatively unknown player compared to some of the other top 16 (Dog, Amnesia, Trump, Reynad, etc.), so I wanted to give everyone a chance to get to know me better. I've been competing in tournaments since late 2014, including qualifying for a major LAN (Assembly 2015) in Finland and traveling to Sweden for Dreamhack. I've won more ONOG open tournaments than any other player, and I qualified for their LAN finals last year. I've experienced the pro Hearthstone scene as a free agent and with a team supporting me. I've taken a year out to try playing Hearthstone full-time, and right now I'm balancing competition with a full-time job as a software developer at Google. I've had a close-up view as HCT and the pro scene changed over the years to become what they are today. AMA! Been over a month BLIZZARD can the spectate bug and the exit bug please be fixed ??? Posted: 07 May 2017 04:17 PM PDT 9/10 times when I am spectating my friend I have to restart my game but wait a minute only if I could exit my game in the first place the whole process takes a lot of time. Realize your game is stuck. Try exiting. Furiously click on the screen and force exit when hearthstone stops responding , then relaunch the game and start spectating only to start the process all over again after the current game. It makes learning new decks with friends really hard. [link] [comments]
Crushing the Meta with Aggro Murloc Burn Priest (100% WR) Posted: 07 May 2017 03:36 PM PDT About: Hey guys, I'm A-NI-MAL, and I'm writing this post as a guide to the next deck that I feel is the up and coming star of the Un'goro metagame: Aggro Murloc Burn Priest. I've had tremendous success with the deck, and over the course of dozens of tenths of games, I have had a staggering 100% win rate, on a tear from Rank 9 0 stars to Rank 8 2 stars! But before we get into the deck itself, why should you trust me? And that's a great question! You shouldn't. Last season I hit Rank 1 5 stars in the first couple weeks and then got lazy and salty at the prevalence of Hungry Crab and didn't finish my push! I also never play Priest because I hate the class, which means I have no real experience in the long run with it. I've never gone full Northshire, for instance. Okay, so some of you might say: "Now now, A-NI-MAL, if we can't trust you then why in the blazing blue flying fucksticks should we read this guide?" And I have a good answer to you, my nautically-inclined linguists! The memes, friends. The memes.Decklist and Card Discussions: Okay, now that we're all on the same page as to why we're all here, I'm sure we all have one burning question: Aggro Murloc Burn Priest?! Well, honestly - yes. Let's take a look at the decklist and then we'll talk about it afterward. We run: Murloc Tidecaller x2 Northshire Cleric x2 Potion of Madness x2 Power Word: Shield x2 Bluegill Warrior x2 Crazed Alchemist x2 Mind Blast x2 Radiant Elemental x2 Rockpool Hunter x2 Shadow Visions x2 Coldlight Seer x2 Kabal Talonpriest x2 Murloc Warleader x2 Gentle Megasaur x2 Finja, the Flying Star Holy Fire x1 Okay, so what is this deck and why do we play it? Well, from a meme perspective I've always been fascinated by Aggro Priest, as, much like Reno Pirate Warrior (my other greatest creation which I may write a guide on at some point), when you actually show your hand, the opponents confusion is palpable. They have NO idea what to do or what to expect. They're playing completely in the dark and you're following their every move. In short, you become Batman. This has always been the case with Aggro Priest, but Un'goro gave the deck the two things needed to move it from a Tier 6 meme deck to a Tier 5 meme deck: 1) An actual respectable early game package through neutral murlocs and Radiant Elementals, and 2) Even more Mind Blasts. You see, from an actual, practical, technical side of things, the premise of Aggro Priest has always been: Mind Blast is a really good burn card. So how do we add in 28 other cards that make Mind Blast feel like the pretty lady it always was on the inside? So basically, with Un'goro, we have the murloc package that everyone uses and abuses and eats with crabs to go face early, and then thanks to our new best friend Shadow Visions we reach into our deck and pull out 2 bonus Mind Blasts, or a bonus Holy Fire as a backup. So yes, we are a board-based aggro deck. But we are a board-based aggro deck with 25 points of unconditional burn from hand. And that's pretty swell. Okay, onto the cards themselves! Murloc Tidecaller: You know him, you love him, you weep when you see him on Turn 1 with no answer! Northshire Cleric: Nice thing about Cleric is that she is ALSO a must answer minion, which means your fine fishy friends are much more likely to stick around if they sink resources into her. Also provides card draw and surprise burst with Crazed Alchemist - more about that later. Potion of Madness: This card is just rootin' tootin' good goddamn high falutin' amazing. Beats other aggro decks for you by itself, and you can do some gross things with it and Alchemist as well. Power Word: Shield: More health good. More card good. More health and more card mean more card live longer to go face more. Good card. Bluegill Warrior: Turn 2 2 damage! It's not as strong as T1 Arcane Missiles, but since that's the most busted opener in Hearthstone we're pretty happy with this. Crazed Alchemist: OOOOOOOH BOYYYYYY this guy's busted. Super gross for Priest. Lets your small murlocs trade up into big taunts by flipping the taunt. Lets your Talonpriests and Shields turn into surprise burst. Means your Seers and Megasaurs can give defensive buffs that turn into offensive buffs. Does gross things to totems. Isn't played around. Drives a Ferrari. Will take your mom out to lunch for you. Mind Blast: if you don't understand why my bb girl is in this deck i will personally snipe you on ladder with jade druid for the rest of your days Radiant Elemental: It's just good. Helps beat other aggro decks early. Sometimes cheats outs Holy Fire. Mostly it's just a River Crocolisk though, which is actually great in this meta (l o l) Rockpool Hunter: Quick, what are your two favorite basic cards?! Was the answer Shattered Sun Cleric and River Croc? If not, you're wrong, try again, think about it and come back to me! Shadow Visions: What's better than 2 Mind Blasts? 4 Mind Blasts. ...I'm going to be honest, I didn't think about this card any more than that. Coldlight Seer: The bffl of Murlocs everywhere and has double synergy with Crazed Alchemist! So much fucking value! Kabal Talonpriest: Yo girl I hear a 3/6 Warleader is pretty sick Murloc Warleader: THIS GUY GOES FACE. A LOT. Gentle Megasaur: THIS GUY ALSO GOES FACE. A LOTTER. Finja: Patches get the fuck outta town, Finja's the real Gadgetzan god. Murlocs good, and more murocs are gooder. He's pretty sweet, even if he is a Gonzo ripoff. Holy Fire: Look, sometimes draws fuck you. And sometimes you draw both Mind Blasts before you draw both Shadow Visions. Holy Fire is here to save you - even a Mind Blast that's 3 times worse is still okay when you're just trying to go face as much as possible and Priest has no other good options because Priest is shit. Matchups and Mulligans: Warrior (0 - 0): I encountered no Warriors during my entire climb, which leads me to believe this class is not a relevant part of the current Un'goro meta, so I'm going to skip this one. Mage (0 - 0): I encountered no Mages during my entire climb, which leads me to believe this class is not a relevant part of the current Un'goro meta, so I'm going to skip this one. Priest (3 - 0): THE dominant class of the Un'goro metagame, and I can happily say we are extremely favored! Priest players are naturally greedy chubby classist kids who were probably bullied at school, and when they see you're playing Priest as well they get a huge value boner and mulligan to outgreed Scrooge McDuck. So then you just go face and they die. Easy! Paladin (0 - 0): I encountered no Paladins during my entire climb, which leads me to believe this class is not a relevant part of the current Un'goro meta, so I'm going to skip this one. Hunter (0 - 0): I encountered no Hunters during my entire climb, which leads me to believe this class is not a relevant part of the current Un'goro meta, so I'm going to skip this one. Warlock (0 - 0): I encountered no Warlocks during my entire climb, which leads me to believe this class is not a relevant part of the current Un'goro meta, so I'm going to skip this one. Rogue (0 - 0): I encountered no Rogues during my entire climb, which leads me to believe this class is not a relevant part of the current Un'goro meta, so I'm going to skip this one. Shaman (1 - 0): Less dominant in the meta than Priest, but still one of the more common classes you'll find on ladder. This one's harder than Priest - generally the only people left playing Shaman after Troggs Rule and Wroaaah rotated into wild are people who are so incredibly stupid that their stupidity has gone full circle and edges on brilliance. You'll never get a Shaman player to unexpect the unexpected, which makes our element of surprise a lot weaker here. Volcano also sucks. Still, stick to our 25 damage burn plan and go face early around taunts fast. They typically can't outheal us unless they draw the nuts, in which case I recommend adding them after the game to flame them because that's a proven way to promote a healthy game experience. Druid (0 - 0): I encountered no Druids during my entire climb, which leads me to believe this class is not a relevant part of the current Un'goro meta, so I'm going to skip this one. Conclusion: You know honestly I didn't expect to get this far. Uhm, like, try this deck or something, maybe you'll like it. I uhm. I don't stream on Twitch but I'd think about it if someone paid me a million dollars? Up to you guys. Happy Mind Blasting, [link] [comments]

6 Legendary Elemental Control Mage... but don't worry, you're already safe Posted: 08 May 2017 12:07 AM PDT Hemet was the first pick, so I'm glad the rest of the draft lined up. Never went to fatigue, so Hemet did a lot of work in the matches I played him, usually killing around 11 cards. Special shoutout to Guv who I beat at both 10 and 11 wins, I'm sorry for what I put you through. He saw my Ysera and Hemet the first game, and Medivh the second. Wonder if he noticed he played me twice. [link] [comments] |
