[Destiny 2] "There's a reason Guardians take the fight to Saturn."

Posted: 02 May 2017 03:45 AM PDT

X-post from r/DestinyLore

"Major narrative changes are on board for D2. Both in terms of plot direction, pacing & structure. Major focus is going to be on the Cabal & Saturn. Saturn is a playspace is set to be bigger than all of the playspaces currently implemented in the game combined. This is in large part of the scale of playspaces being redesigned, so it'll be both bigger & denser with activities. There's a reason Guardians take the fight to Saturn. "

This is a statement coming from NeoGaf user, and alleged Destiny 2 leaker Shinobi602. I do not have the ability to verify it before we actually see the content itself, but others such as MyNameIsByf, or Kotaku writer Jason Schreier, who actively seek out and sift through Destiny rumors seem content to trust the source as far as we can. However, there are other statements he has made which lend credence to the veracity of this statement, as elsewhere in the same post he also comments on Destiny 2 coming to PC, which Bungie has now confirmed in the post reveal TWABs and in the purchase option for PC platforms on the purchase page for Destiny 2, and the fact that the Beta will be available on PC. Other statements include reference to the Bungie Live Team getting powered up to produce more frequent content drops, which has occurred with things such as the April Update (Malok quest and strike) or the Age of Triumph return of the old raids; as well as the statement "I wouldn't expect to see the Tower in good shape in D2 ;)" which makes sense given the Cabal attack featured in the game's marketing materials; that there have been major hardware limitations from the 360 and PS3 consoles as well as major issues with the editing programs being used by Bungie which has previously been covered by Jason Schrieer in his seminal work on how messed up Destiny's development was; and then finally that within the statement above he says the focus will be on the "Cabal & Saturn". We know that at least 50% of that statement is confirmed as true by Bungie.

If at least 50% of the information Shinobi has leaked is confirmed by Bungie as true, then we have cause to treat as plausible the remaining information, not as something confirmed or even probable, but as plausible. So then, WHY are we going to Saturn?

But first an obligatory note of caution from Jason Schreier's Sources: Destiny 2 Coming To PC, Aims To Feel Like A Totally New Game

Over the past few months, I've also heard that Bungie's leadership wants Destiny 2 to feel like a proper sequel, even if that means leaving old planets, characters and activities behind. In conversations with me, people connected to Bungie have made comparisons to Blizzard's Diablo 2, which iterated on the first game in some incredible ways but didn't carry over characters or content from Diablo. I don't know exactly how much will change in Destiny 2, but all signs point to the developers starting from scratch. "D2 is a completely different game," said one person familiar with development. "The Taken King was a reboot for Destiny 1 to fix small things. This is the overhaul to fix big things."

Now to the speculation:

"There's a reason Guardians take the fight to Saturn. "

"Yes. A few of Saturn's moons."

A ringing endorsement of Saturn.

  1. Rasputin.
  2. The Awoken and the Queen
  3. The Harbingers and the Dreadnaught
  4. The Nine
  5. The Exo program
  6. The Cabal
  7. Whatever else

Rasputin

Allow me to begin with the opening premise that, while we cannot predict any when with accuracy, we can certainly guess at the what and why. Now look at this image from the Destiny 2 Season Pass, see the Osiris and Rasputin symbols? Old news I know, but while I do not have a theory tying Osiris into this yet, Rasputin has quite a few possibilities that could relate a Rasputin centered expansion to Saturn.

From Schreier's The Messy True Story Behind the Making of Destiny

"Destiny's story went through several revisions before the reboot, but the supercut's version revolved around players' hunt for the warmind Rasputin, according to two people familiar with the original plans. In today's Destiny, Rasputin doesn't do much but listen to classical music in a steel bunker on Earth, but in the 2013 version, he would have starred in a more prominent role. Alien Hive would have kidnapped the machine and brought him to their Dreadnaught spaceship, which was later cut from vanilla Destiny and moved to The Taken King. Originally, this Hive ship would have been part of the main story. "The entire last third of the game took place on the Dreadnaught with you rescuing Rasputin," said one person who worked on the game.

Fans have long wondered about the bloody Exo in one early piece of Destiny concept art. Turns out that was Rasputin, according to a source. In the original story, the player would have rescued this guy from the Hive.

(In the DLC, we would have learned that this Exo was actually a puppet being controlled by a Warmind, the source said.)"

There has been quite a bit of speculation about how the Cabal are able to attack the City, the only information we have right now is that:

"Humanity's last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion. He has stripped the city's Guardians of their power, and forced the survivors to flee. You will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity's scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home. – The World of Destiny 2

Now, besides the speculation on what the hell the Cabal have actually done to the Traveller, and the stripping Guardians of their power, another key line of intrigue is why the hell Rasputin did not stop them. Now, we have clear precedent that Rasputin can, in playing the longer-term strategy of living to fight another day, hide himself to avoid undesirable risks to himself and more broadly "the general development". He did do this during the Collapse when it was entirely impossible for him to succeed against the Darkness, which had already slaughtered the other warminds and defences humanity could mount against it, and resistance became futile. Rasputin survived by rewriting his programs, abandoning "population protection measures" and going to sleep until it was over. It is entirely possible that Rasputin has deactivated or at least masked his presence again to avoid destruction if the Cabal invasion was simply more than he could handle.

However, this seems unlikely. Rasputin has already jumped headfirst into the wars against EVERY enemy faction in the game. When we first find him he is defending himself against hacking by the Fallen, then the Hive (with whom there appears to have already been a long running conflict given evidence of their skirmish at Skyshock and the probability of their presence during the Collapse), are after him and his defence systems when we reactivate the Array and release the Warmind upon the system. Then, once free of the confines of his Russian bunker and looping soundtracks of Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony, the very first thing he does is kill a crap load of Cabal and Vex at the same time with an orbital strike from one of his Warsats. Rasputin has had serious run ins with everybody but the Vex so far, unless Rasputin is the unnamed warmind in the GF Vex series cards in which case he has been engaged with them as well in the past. He has no qualms about this action, and the Cabal are fully aware of his presence. Then he has had further interaction with the Hive and Taken, the Fallen breaking in and looting SIVA twice, and over on Mars some currently unknown efforts to protect the remnants of the Central AI Cortex for what may be the dead or dormant Mars Warmind, again from the Cabal. And don't think Rasputin cares about you either, he totally annihilated the Iron Lords. We do not know the full scope of what Rasputin is capable of, but setting aside the need for the plot to ultimately come down to our individual shooting skills, we have hints and dialogue that Rasputin is actively engaged on multiple fronts and at least against Omnigul and the Hive actively defending Earth and the Last City.

So why does he fail to stop the Cabal? Well remember how the Cabal know just how much of a pain he is? Rasputin is the first line of defence. A temperamental and sulky one who we can't trust all that well to actually defend us, yes, but neither can the Cabal. They can't risk sneaking past Rasputin to attack the City, only to then, having pissed him off or with him having changed his mind, have Rasputin suddenly decide to attack them from the rear. If they want to get at us, they need to go through Rasputin first.

It is either that or Rasputin has gone into hiding again, one or the other. And if the Cabal are a threat that is less than the total overwhelming power of the Darkness, if Rasputin, who clearly doesn't give a crap what they think, assesses that they are a manageable threat and he doesn't need to hibernate for his own safety for another couple of centuries, then they are going to be in conflict.

Now what does that conflict look like I wonder? Please don your spinfoil hats past this point.

What if the original plotline of a captured Warmind and a hostage rescue quest series was recycled. What if instead of being carried away by the Hive to the Dreadnaught, Rasputin (who cannot simply be dead due to the planned expansion we assume is Rasputin centric), still has his systems breached once again, and in whatever sort of form, is taken into the Cabal flagship or some related installation to be interrogated and dissected by the Cabal?

The relation of this to Saturn is speculative, but given the Cabal presence around Saturn including their willingness to board the Dreadnaught, if this area or areas in the expanded Mars region were considered "safe" and "away from the front lines" centered on Earth for a sufficient amount of time then it is possible for the captured Rasputin to be taken here. But far more likely is that, rather than extraditing Rasputin in some form or another from the Cosmodrome, there is a significant installation of the Warmind around Saturn of which we do not yet know, which would give the Cabal some way of accessing enough information to "capture" him by confining him to an unplugged floppy disk, to have his code interrogated at will. Such an installation may be the as yet unknown work conducted by former Ishtar Collective members on Hyperion (GF Vex 5) who had direct contact with a warmind, and whatever is the focal point of the Exo program's creation, which may in fact overlap (pure speculation), and which could cause us to at some point encounter Rasputin in an Exo frame.

Saturn. No, someplace else. Someplace colder.

This moon has been almost completely converted, a sarcophagus of ice and iron.

Stone towers rung round with glaciers, rooted deep within a heart of snow.

I came here flesh and bone. Gave everything to the ice.

Started over.

Rebooted. – Cayde-6's Treasure Island Book

(Side note, if its not Hyperion but still a moon of Saturn, then Enceladus is apparently the coldest moon of Saturn at a mean 75*Kelvin due to it being entirely covered in ice)

So for Rasputin's involvement in Saturn that's my theory: some variation on the theme of Rasputin having great weapon and bad home security, having the Cabal break in and somehow kidnap him, and that this is going to relate to either installations on Saturn or the Cabal flagship replacing the role the Dreadnaught originally played in the Princess Peach plotline, and being "safely" positioned in the Saturn-Jupiter region, away from the front lines of Earth and Mars.

The Awoken Queen and the Harbinger's

The Queen of the Reef is a gal with a plan. I have no idea what that plan is, but she definitely has one, and several things are wrapped up in it including the Battle of Saturn we see in the TTK opening cinematic. Now the Queen of the Reef, Mara Sov, is not dead, and her voice actor has essentially confirmed her returning role in Destiny 2. She's just "dead", just Destiny "dead", not really dead, in fact it's better to think of her as merely not here right now. Not missing, wherever she is, she is there according to the plan, she is not lost, and it is probable that someone, possibly Osiris or Eris who both seem conspirators in this plan, knows exactly where she is and how to bring her back, what conditions need to be fulfilled for her to return for the next stage of the plan. She is just simply not here. And in her absence her plan continues.

We do not know what the plan is, but we have some indications that in the stage which we saw in the TTK, the Harbingers play a crucial role. During the course of the battle, once the Queen's ship has come within range of deploying the Harbingers against the Dreadnaught, she does so. The whole battle up until this point has merely been to get close enough to do something. And while we see the Harbingers rip through the lesser Hive warships with ease, and have records of their tremendous destructiveness from the Reef Wars, when the Queen used them to destroy the dwarf planet Ceres in the Scatter, killing hundreds of thousands possibly millions of Fallen in the process, for some strange reason the Dreadnaught is entirely intact at the end of the cinematic. In the Coven grimoire card which is set "On the Eve of War" the Queen's inner circle of powerful Techeun Witches prepare for the deployment of the Harbingers and emphasizes their role within the Queen's plan. Then in the Aftermath, Prince Uldren says that the entire battle was fought "all to deploy the Harbingers."

Clearly, either these immensely powerful weapons, weapons that can destroy entire planetary bodies in a single blow, are entirely useless against the Hive's perversion of the laws of physics, such that they could not even scratch Oryx's Dreadnaught, the Bone Ship of Akka where reality goes to die, or, or, they had another purpose. Perhaps the Dreadnaught was not meant to be destroyed, it was not a part of the plan. Because the very next sentence is this: "They barely got a foothold before the weapon was fired."

The Techeuns should've known what the Dreadnaught could do. Must've known. Did they not feel what he felt? Hear what he heard? And that damn Ketch, it wasn't protected. They had to know that. All to deploy the Harbingers. They barely got a foothold before the weapon was fired. He thought of Petra and how overwhelmed she must be, forced to hold her post, and watch her people perish.

See, there's a curious point that was raised recently by u/Child_of_Scorn in his analysis of Moth related imagery, symbolism and theming in Destiny, an influence on the Hive Bungie is quite open about.

"Here is a waxworm larvae next to a Hive worm in the Ghost scan.

As a further piece of interesting symbolism, the wax moth larvae, also known as a waxworm (commonly found in pet stores as lizard food), is a pest very familiar to beekeepers. These worms feed on the bee's honey, which can result in the destruction of the comb. Here is a fascinating piece of information, taken directly from Wikipedia:

"Populations of these moths take over the honeycombs of bee colonies, usually when the bees are in a weakened state. Lesser Wax Moths can often be seen in bee colonies trying to lay their eggs, but in most cases the worker bees will eliminate them and keep the moths from over-running the colony. When the colony is going through a period of stress, such as after the loss of its queen bee or under starvation conditions, the moths may completely take over the honeycombs."

In other words, waxworms feed on the Hive from the inside out - just as is threatened in the Books of Sorrow IX ("If you do, your worm will consume you"), and just as ultimately happens to Oryx.

Early in D1, we learn that the moon is honeycombed with tunnels that have been bored - rather than dug - into the ground, as though something has chewed its way through the center of Luna. You'll also note that, when traversing the labyrinth on the Dreadnaught that we enter after defeating Golgoroth, we encounter moths fluttering along the way, often over the pits into which careless Guardians can fall to their death.

The moth related theme of a Hive of bees (or zombie space Nazis as the case may be) getting infested and taken over by an invading pest, the wax moth, has a very interesting parrallel here when you consider that the Harbinger Minds appear to be somewhat sentient, and that they were sent into the Dreadnaught as part of the plan to somehow reproduce on the Dreadnaught. To take over the weakened Hive colony when say, we kill all their leaders, dance on their graves, and wear Oryx's arse as a hat?

"So now the decision is nigh. The Harbingers, which to prepare?" Shuro was determined to see this all through. Excitement was taught to be kept at bay.

"We cannot send them all." Portia reminded.

"All but one, the oldest. It stays with us. Sedia, Kalli, Shuro, take the children, tell her they are to be planted into a dead thing to have children of their own." A plan hid behind Illyn's eyes, but Techeuns do not share their eyes with others.

The Harbingers are a pest, the theme of a pest species invading and taking over a Hive has been reversed, now it is the Hive of Oryx that is going to be devoured, his great rebuke of causality hollowed out and captured by the invader.

Whatever the full scope of the Queen's plan, it seems a part of it was to capture intact the Dreadnaught which is why it was not destroyed, and to commander it. "They barely got a foothold before the weapon was fired.". It sounds sooo close to failure, but read it closely. They. Got. A. Foothold. The Harbingers are inside, they're taking over the Dreadnaught right there in the rings of Saturn. I believe we're going to find out very soon whether or not you can graft yourself onto another's Throne World, whether or not the Queen can steal Oryx's Throne World for herself and gain the same immortality. Whether the Harbingers can replace one Hive with another.

The Nine

Basically, as I detailed here not too long ago, the Nine and the Reef are in a cold war that is about to get very hot. They cooperated in a sense earlier during the Reef Wars when the Queen attacked the House of Wolves, and the Nine took the opportunity to solidify territorial gains over what used to be HOW holdings in the Jovian moon system. However, the Reef was denied the opportunity to consolidate too much, and after the Queen gave them the captive Wolf Skolas as a token of friendship to commemorate their "mutual victory", the Nine promptly sent their pet Golem, Xur to release the hateful Kell, turned him around, pressed a gun into his claws and a ship into his command, and said "kill". He didn't need to be asked twice. And amidst all the chaos that Skolas wrought in his recent rebellion, as the Reef was weakened, in their place it was the Nine who have expanded, and now they threaten even the Reef itself. If my above theory on the Awoken using the Harbingers to commandeer the Dreadnaught is correct, then we can expect the ultimate surprise MFers, as the Nine suddenly find themselves outmaneuvered, outflanked and outplayed by the Queen. This sort of Maverick move is fairly important if the Queen wishes to fend off not only the ever expanding Nine but also to reclaim territories that apparently once belonged to the Reef.

"Was a time even Mars itself was the Queen's domain." - Long Tomorrow 9G, Chest

There is also an as yet unknown aspect in which the Reef may be destabilizing politically in the absence of both the Queen and her brother, Prince Uldren. The possibility that the Queen rose to power through violence, that there maybe other royal claimants that could challenge her in her absence, in the reef or as refugees in the City, and the overlap between these past historical events, previous control of Mars, and a strange and eccentric guardian that was resurrected on Mars with nothing but a Silver coin to call his own, is quite intriguing . That assassinations have been attempted against Petra Venj, the Queens Wrath and defacto leader of the Reef in the Queen's absence only adds fuel to the fire, requiring the Queen return asap, and the role of the Nine in instigating and supporting these conspiracies against the Crown has not yet been ascertained.

(For reference, please see reports 13455.45, 13455.58, and 13455.98: Post Taken War Reef politics, Tech Witch Conversations and Petra, and Assassination Attempts, Petra)

Report: Taken Power

The Cabal

I don't really have anything here besides that with a massive and much needed expansion of Cabal lore, bungie can put them wherever they want to, and if that's a little bit of Saturn on the side then so much the better per my theorizing.

The Exos

I blended this point into the Rasputin section, but essentially Cayde's Treasure Island book hints at whatever the origin of the Exos are, and whatever their relationship to Clovis Bray, SIVA, and the Exodus Program (which coincidentally makes way to much sense if Exo is an abbreviation besides the words actual meaning), the answers must lie beyond Earth. Throughout the Transmission Crisis and SIVA which may be one of the tools used in their creation, SIVA is developed on Mars then produced on Earth, but by the time of the Exo program Cayde talks of Saturn or a moon somewhere else, somewhere colder. The whole nature of the Exos along with the Deep Stone Crypt is likely to be given a little more cowling on the alloys in Destiny 2, and could keep us quite interested in Saturn.

The Anything Else Category

Because I wanted a list with seven items on it. But in all seriousness, a set of PS exclusive armour one for each class (Long Tomorrow 9G;Jovian Guard; and the Barkhan Dune sets), that was released in TTK, includes this line in the Long Tomorrow 9G Helmet

"Some of 'em survived. I know a fellow says he saw a wish dragon on Jupiter a ways back."

"Wish dragons" is a reference to the Ahamkara. Powerful but untrustworthy beings the City ordered exterminated yet appear far to alive. If they're alive in Jupiter, they'd probably also be alive and kicking on Saturn, or at least close enough nearby, relatively speaking. In any event, The Great Hunt to exterminate the wish dragons, the Ahamkara, was conducted before Guardians had really even reached out to Mars, and the Reef was still entirely off limits. So any dragons that were beyond our range such as in Jupiter, Saturn or the outer planets would be entirely unharmed.

So in conclusion, whether the destiny rumor mill is true or not, there are more than enough reasons in and of their own right for us to be getting involved in a lot of crazy shit happening around Saturn.

TL;DR

Posted: 02 May 2017 09:49 AM PDT

Hey guys! I am a smaller content creator on YouTube, that some of you may be familiar with (my biggest posts on this sub had to do with the different sizes of orbs and the first guide for the Deathsinger challenge). I recently was invited to the Destiny 2 reveal event on May 18th, and I just have one question for you guys:

What kind of footage or gameplay aspects are you the most interested in? If I only had 5 minutes with the game, what would you want me to go straight for?

I am interested to see if you guys are really looking forward to the same aspects as me, and whether or not I'm missing some big ones. Thank you for sharing your questions guys! I'll do my best to try and answer all of the requests and questions!! Have a fantastic day!

Was showering this morning and as the water drained from the shower and headed down the drain it made a sound IDENTICAL to Valus Ta'aurc. This must be how they captured his "voice".

TL;DR - Valus Ta'aurc sounds like a shower drain.

  • 92% overall. Elemental Perk: Orbs on arc melees.

Personal Opinion: you are right, after having 80% and lower Rolls, these are actually pretty decent.

Recommended Picks: I've reconsidered. My personal Standards may be high but that Gheleon looks rather Good.

A perfect roll would look like this:

  • A Int/Dis Artifact: 38/51.

  • A Int/Str or Dis/Str Artifact: 38/38.

The Omnigul Panic Room

Posted: 02 May 2017 12:02 PM PDT

If you ever find yourself overwhelmed with adds in the Omnigul room (this week's Nightfall being a prime example and the inspiration for posting this, but it applies also to epic/arc burn heroic strikes, etc) please be aware there is a generally safe area where one or more guardians can hide and kill add build-up at a relatively leisurely pace.

This safe area is a little semi-circle behind a console-looking thing right below the thrall-chute that's behind Omnigul (if you are looking from the stairs side of her little catwalk). See linked video below for a better idea of what I am talking about.

Inside this little area you can duck to avoid incoming fire, exploding thrall, etc as needed and eventually adds will come find you down there to give you line of sight to kill them.

You do have to be moderately careful of the wizard snot Omnigul shoots because if it gets in the panic spot it CAN damage you over time in there, but as long as you are close to full health and your armor/recovery aren't too low you should be able to survive without vacating the panic area when that happens and it doesn't happen very often (because she doesn't have a great line of sight to you down there... but I have seen it happen).

Abyss Defiant's perk Lich Bane stuns/disorients Omnigul

Posted: 02 May 2017 03:04 AM PDT

Abyss Defiant will stun Omnigul regardless if her arc shield is up or not. Lich Bane is RNG but has a better chance to proc if you use Hip Fire over Focused Fire.

Might be useful in this week's Nightfall.

No-Flinch-Beyond you say...

Posted: 01 May 2017 07:16 PM PDT

So I was just finishing up the sniper bounty from Arcite, and decided to use No Land Beyond to help me out with the bounty. Now I've heard people calling No Land Beyond, "No Flinch Beyond", but I didn't know it was this good, (Bad in my enemies case).

Celestial Nighthawk Golden Gun can one shot the portal Gatekeepers in VoG.

Posted: 02 May 2017 11:43 AM PDT

Gatekeepers isn't that difficult, but its even easier if you have a couple gunslingers. A GG can drop the initial gatekeeper's health by more than half, and it can one shot the gate keepers on mars and venus (past or future, whatever you want to call them).

This makes retrieving the relics from the portal really easy, and can even be done solo. Tethers aren't that useful for this encounter, so switch to a golden gun.

Note: I was running deadeye and over the horizon to boost the GG damage. Can anyone confirm if this is required to one shot them?

Edit: Found a clip on youtube of someone doing 99% damage to the mars gatekeeper. From earlier in the video it looks like they were running combustion, so I think deadeye makes a difference.

Super basic loadout advice for this week's nightfall

Posted: 02 May 2017 10:26 AM PDT

Ran the nightfall 3 times a little while ago, here's some real basic advice because it is one of those "oh come onnnnn..." nightfalls.

Firstly, about the modifiers. Don't jump if you can avoid it. Even though brawler is on you're not going to be using it much because it's hard to get in punching range without being melted. Match game is the important bit here.

Start of the strike: Recommend a solar primary, preferably not a hand cannon due to the range. This is for the wizards that all have solar shields.

Recommend a void machine gun (or whatever's safe at range) for the splicer captains due to void shields.

Omnigul herself: She's got an arc shield, so recommend an arc primary or secondary. I also saw everyone unloading heavy onto her which is a bit of waste, use the heavy on the ogres, knights and thrall which will be much more of a threat. DPS doesn't really matter with Omnigul because it doesn't really matter how fast you get her down, she still disappears 3 or 4 times then adds spawn.

I'd advise that when she shows up, just do enough damage to get her to fly away for a bit but concentrate on the adds, especially the thrall because those cursed buggers are what will cause deaths. Use the heavy on the adds and just use primary and secondary to whittle away her health.

As for subclasses, just go for survivability and orb generation, this a strike to live through, big damage isn't a big deal. That basically covers every subclass except for striker or blade dancer really though

Banshee's Bench: A Modified Massive Breakdown

Posted: 02 May 2017 06:42 AM PDT

Hey everyone, I made a thing and wanted to share it with you.

Banshee's Bench

I, like many, spend a lot of time in the depths of the Massive Breakdowns by /u/Mercules904 . He was more than kind enough to give me permission to use his masterpiece as my main source of this project. If it were not for him and his help, I would not have created this.

  • What is this?: A tool to compare your choice of weapon stats, scopes, and barrels side by side, on one page.

  • Why?: So many great Guardians put their time and effort in to discovering/gathering this useful info. I hope my contribution helps anyone interested in zeroing in on their preference of weapons/scopes/barrel perks.

  • Who am I?: Long time lurker, occasional poster, Excel geek, re-worded a Dawning poem once, wanted to contribute to the Destiny Community.

  • Future: I plan on updating this whenever there is a change in any of the numbers. I am open to any and all suggestions, corrections, or questions!

Additional Notes

  • PLEASE SAVE THIS TO YOUR COMPUTER (Click "File", then "Download As", then select a file type) The entire first tab is editable, which could get weird if several users are editing the same version at the same time. Edit: I decided to require you to save it/download the file in order to edit. /u/gintellectual made a great point, we don't want any accidental breakage going on!

  • This is my first time sharing an excel doc like this. Please let me know if something is not working properly. I will try to be available during the day for questions or bugs. Worst case, I will get to everything tonight after work.

  • Most importantly, the credit! Huge shout out to Mercules for the majority of the data. Any additional info I added was taken from Planet Destiny and DestinyScopes.com. Both websites are awesome, and if you haven't already, definitely check them out. Destiny Scopes even has pictures of every scope!!!

If you've been saving your Knuckles Of Eao, they cap out at 5! Make sure you don't have the max of 5 at your character or you probably won't get any more.

Posted: 02 May 2017 05:12 AM PDT

I've done the raid this week. Been saving my knuckles plain because I forgot to pop them the first time king's fall came out as the weekly, so I have 6 Knuckles of Eao now. Trying to put my 6th in the vault but couldn't do it. So make sure you don't have 5 knuckles on your character before doing your first weekly raid (VoG this week).

Have a great reset day

Peace

Titan Life Is The Only Life I Know

Posted: 02 May 2017 08:08 AM PDT

I did a little print thing: https://imgur.com/a/Tap0j

(https://www.instagram.com/p/BTl9jAtgGji/ Instagram Link in case Imgur doesn't work)

I was looking for something that I could hang over my TV and what would be better than a Titan subclass print?

I did the vector illustrations in Affinity Designer and printed them on 25x25 cm aluminium dibond.

Turned out pretty well I think!

Now let's just hope the subclasses aren't vanished from Destiny 2! -.-

He was watching me raid and asked for a screen grab. He doesn't play but while we were raiding, he painted this.
