It's June 11th, 2017, 2:30 PM. Microsoft's E3 presentation is starting to approach it's apex.

"And now it's my honor to introduce from 343 studios, Bonnie Ross!"

The crowd goes wild as that classic Halo theme plays.

"You know, it's been a rough ride for some of us at 343", she says as the crowd calms down. "We would like to take this time to express our deepest apologies to our faithful community. Two years ago, we announced Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and understandably many of you were let down. We never intended to release a product of that low standard, and as such, today we have an announcement."

The crowd perks up, eager for what could be in store.

"10 years ago, you finished the fight..." The crowd gets silent as people hold their breath. "...and now, we'd like to announce what 343 have secretly been working on the last few years. As an upgrade for any Halo: MCC original adopters, we'd like to announce..." The crowd is ready to go nuts, eager for news on their classic games that have long since been abandoned. "...That coming to Halo 5, three classic Halo 3 reqs that the community has been demanding:

The classic Halo 3 BR, taken directly from MCC coding so only 40% of your shots will register.

Halo 3 equipment returns! We didn't have a way to patch in a way for them to work in Halo 5, but it's great for Forge decorations!

And lastly, more Elite bodies to place in Forge! We know our fans have wanted playable Elites, and we added more unique poses to make it appear as if Elites are in your match!"

The crowd looks puzzled, confused at what was just announced.

"I can tell you're all eager," Bonnie continues, "and I'd like to announce that for all early adopters of Halo: MCC, you can purchase these beginning September 17th, 2017, for a limited time for only $5 through the Halo 5 req store! It's going to be an exciting year, and we can't wait to continue with our fans and all of your loyal support! Thank you very much!"

I liked the first one a decent bit, its no SC in terms of skill etc... but it was always fun.

This one was pretty hyped up and it got released which i heard was pretty rough then i like haven't heard a thing since?

Is it even worth trying out?

Iv been getting mixed emotions from people saying its dead now. Can anyone tell me if the online runs smooth, and how long wait times are? Im desperate to play old maps, and my mates dont play H5, so the forge downloaded H3 and H2 maps are useless to me.

Hey! I've been wanting to get buy a Xbox one to get back into playing halo (I played reach back in the 360 days).

But I'm curious to know if there is still an active player base on halo 5?

Also addition question, compared to halo reach is halo 5 similar?
