Life as a 1 MMR player Posted: 19 Apr 2017 01:38 AM PDT Wake up after 1 hour of sleep Barely conscious Open up my Nintendo 3DS Launch Dota 2 Plug in my 2005 Guitar Hero©: Aerosmith© PS2© Edition Guitar Controller© Wait in queue for 43 minutes Accept game Highest MMR is a 105 MMR player named "ptmr :v" 4 people instalock mid, 3 of them playing Slark 1st pick random KOTL takes mid instead Pick support because Kotl says he's buying Armlet before boots The first gank at 10:30 results in our offlane spectre to die Immediately hear a spanish 11 year old child deafeningly screeching into the mic The chat fills up with jajajajajajaja for 14 minutes Our Pudge with a Trump profile pic named "Cuck killer" gets into an argument with the other team about Trump Both afk for the rest of the game, Cuck killer calling him a taco nigger while the other team says "fuk tump jaja" 3 people start feeding down mid, 2 from the enemy team Win because the other team was jungling while we got megas Kotl asks all chat "wtf y creep so big :v" and abandons 8 seconds before we take throne Nobody says GG just the enemy slark says "puta" Close DS and try to kill myself again submitted by /u/Gibusmann [link] [comments]

Dear PGL, I really need your help. Posted: 19 Apr 2017 04:27 AM PDT Well, this is a strange story. But thanks for reading anyway. My name is Valeria and I'm from Moscow. The day when I got tickets to Kiev (=Kyiv) Major was probably the best in years for me. I wasn't able to buy it myself so I found a random guy from Kiev in Internet who just bought tickets by himself, sent him money and asked to buy tickets for me. He was nice enough to do it - but only for group days. Still fine! I was so damn happy. A couple of weeks ago I bought train tickets to Kiev and wrote to this guy to share my happiness, but... He said that the day before he was robbed. He lost almost everything from his flat, even his sneakers. And, of course, we lost our tickets. So why I write this post? I still didn't lose my hope. I believe that orgs can help me. I have a proof - a picture of Police statement of robbery, and I have a photo of our tickets which that guy sent to me. Unfortunately we can't restore these tickets by ourself, but I believe PGL or someone else could help us. I'm still going to Kiev and still hope for better. Thanks for reading. UPDATE. For everyone who think that I got scammed - let me disagree with you. I do believe this man, he has positive reputation in esports and worked for Na'Vi organization. Valve, may I PLEASE be able to edge pan while dragging items? Posted: 19 Apr 2017 05:36 AM PDT I and many others have been asking for this for a very long time. When you fulfill a request that only 10% of the playerbase asked for, you don't enforce it upon everyone. This was a stupid change in the first place since the very few people who had this backpack related issue had either huge mouse inaccuracy or a very high DPI/sensitivity.. What's even MORE stupid is ignoring the countless requests that the playerbase have made to be able to once more edge pan while dragging. This really is a huge mess from Valve; listening to a stupid suggestion for no reason and enforcing it upon everyone, and then ignoring the resulting consequence of it as well as the request to add an option. Even though the issue was entirely on the player for mouse inaccuracy, I understand that some people would still have such issues, so an option should suffice for both parties. But Valve don't. Now this case is a really minor issue, but if Valve manage the game the same way in the future, the outcome would be quite detrimental to the livelihood of the game. Browse /r/dota2 while a match is found Remember how obnoxious /r/dota2 is, browse anything else instead 5.5k avg match is found. Only 2 people are premuted. Neat. Ban Abaddon or Kotl 5 core heroes highlighted during the draft First pick a pos 5 support instead because I want to win Buy courier, tangos, 2 wards, 1 sentry, 1 smoke, 1 tp Give 2 tangos to mid, give offlaner ward, TP to ward enemy shrine Spotted where the enemy offlaner warded and deward Use smoke and run behind mid T1 Snipe enemy courier with enemy mid's salve Back to safe lane barely in time to stack creeps Harass enemy offlaner and pull creeps Buy 3rd ward and send it to mid Steal enemy rune and upgrade courier My mid gets solo killed, "im done" in all chat he says Tell him to use the ward I put in his inventory a minute ago Get called a noob support and an account buyer Smoke gank mid, get a kill and deward the lane. ZOTAC Cup Qualifiers - iG vs. VG Posted: 19 Apr 2017 02:24 AM PDT iG 2 - 0 VG Honestly, I've never seen anything quite as absurd as game 2. Burning bottom networth, Boboka Treant 2nd highest networth and outfarming the entire Radiant side. Boboka MK, Boboka ES, Boboka Riki and now Boboka Treant. He's a tilt-specialist.
