If you accidentally buy red trinket level 1, and swap it for the yellow one, it shouldn't go on cooldown Posted: 30 Mar 2017 06:39 AM PDT It's so silly when this happens and you have to wait 2 minutes before laying down the first ward. If you didn't pay attention to undo the red trinket purchase and just bought the yellow trinket right after, you lost a free ward. Admittedly, it's not the end of the world, but it feels like one of those small inconveniences that you shouldn't ever need to deal with. Maybe trinkets going on cooldown if swapped in shop could be disabled for the first 30 or 45 seconds of the game? edit: Real LPT is always in the comments! If you don't buy the yellow trinket at all, it will automatically appear in your inventory as you're leaving the base. Thanks /u/Mega_Staraptor. Can Kalista get a range indicator for her Rend like Twitch has for his E? Posted: 30 Mar 2017 09:56 AM PDT The only difference between the abilities is that if Kalista Rends a max-range target, the effect will extend to nearby enemies with spears in them. But outside of that, it's still the same ability as Twitch Contaminate, you still need to be in range for it to affect the first target. I think this would be a nice clarity change, what do you guys think? EDIT: /u/Kaelwryn brought up Zirene's comment on this a year ago: https://dd.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/3xvvsf/it_makes_no_sense_for_kalista_not_to_have_an_e/cy8mbpz/ , where he describes how the "extra range" on the ability actually works. The imgur post reads: I got the idea for this because once in a while I play some League and I really like their recent design changes, especially the art style for the 'new' alpha client. So I got into a game and saw this old disgusting looking bevel-y, drop-shadow-y loading screen which really didn't highlight the important aspects of the game and I thought "What would happen if you apply this art style to the rest of the game?" (Kind of like it already happened with the in-game UI) and this was the result. I think I lost the .psd for it but I will keep looking! If I'm able to recover it I'll add some juicy elo borders.
