Welcome to Theorycraft Thursday, a community-building, regularly occurring thread in the subreddit!

MMO veterans will know that Theorycrafting is the core of many discussions about this genre of games, and ESO is no different.

With the high level of variance in builds, skills, and strats, there's plenty of room for Theorycrafting, and we want to see what you have to share with the community on that front.

Have a build you've experimented with? A particular skill or set of skills that synergize well? A strategy for PvE or PvP that works to great effect? Share it here!

If you're new, you can also use this thread to ask questions about viable builds and skills as well!

As always, please keep in mind our rules on the sidebar, especially the one about "no personal attacks, callouts, rude behavior, or other such disrespectful content".

Disagree respectfully and know that everyone has different ideas and playstyles that suit them.

I said elsewhere that I would share my farming spot, and got waaaaay too many replies. Managed to answer less than half before giving up. So, with this you can now make your own rotation. Please stop asking.

Unexpectedly caught a purple salmon and blue starfish that were both home decor. Now my broom-closet home at the inn has a candle, a string of fish, a painting, a starfish and one purple achievement glowing gem thingy. Khajiit does not need beds, or tables, or chairs. Just fish and art.

The lack of zoom on crown purchased appearances is extremely frustrating. Even if no zoom function is possible, the close up of the head like in the crown store preview should be fairly easy to implement. Right now when you change facial characteristics you cannot distinguish any detail. Please help me let ZOS know this is something we want addressed.

I just logged in after the PS4 NA server maintenance today and all my stats seem to have reverted to the old sytem when weapons were in the hundreds for damage instead of thousands. I am doing no damage to even the simplest of enemies and get one or two shotted by them. I am in Stonefalls if that makes a difference. Anyone know what is going on or how to fix this?

I just started playing ESO after trying the beta back in 2013 and not liking it.
I have to say it is absolutely the best MMO currently out.

With that said, i have this odd feeling when i play, Its that feeling I got when I first started playing World of Warcraft 12 years ago, I started at the release of Burning Crusade and a ton of people where joining up, sales up, Player base up, everything growing, it had a really good following and people were everywhere, it built a solid foundation for WOW.

Then came WRATH of the Lich King and BOOM over night Wow exploded to over 10 million players and the MMO world became its slave.

When I play ESO right now, today in this moment I feel that, I feel that Morrowind is going to come and after 3 years be ESO's "WRATH".

I think after June this game will be larger than ever.

I am so glad I am here. So glad i gave it a second chance and so glad the gaming community has as well.

TLDR; The game is amazing now, I believe Morrowind will push it into Mainstream and a make it a dominate MMO.

How can I stay alive longer alone as a Nightblade bow user?

I can only stay alive when i'm not being attacked, the knock-back shot doesn't work on some mobs, and I can only really attack one monster at a time so I can't bring down big groups quickly. I keep dying easily as a nightblade and being a bow user makes it even harder. Am I missing something or is it like this for everyone?

A few weeks I decided to make a new character as I wasn't satisfied with my old one (veteran with 300 CP). I play ESO like a single player game so I'm not in any guilds. I play on a Ps4 and all my friends play on PC which means I'm all by myself. I'm currently at level 35. One thing I really like to do is explore dungeons! Since I play on my own I use the activity finder. The last ten-ish times I've ended up in groups with three veterans (with at least 450 CP each). The first time I got kicked from the group but afterwards people let me stay and gave me enough time to explore the dungeons and do the quests even though they had already explored said dungeons. This is a thank you to all you veterans out there. Thank you for letting me join even though I'm not as tough as you are. Thank you for letting me enjoy the dungeon without rushing through. Thank you for making the game a pleasant experience. I just want you to know it's truly appreciated!
