Idea for brawl - the floor is lava

Posted: 17 Dec 2016 06:46 AM PST

Let's recreate everyone's favourite kids fame with lucio, some collums and some walls. A parkour themed brawl where a custom map is made where lucio needs to climb poles and walls to get to the end. You could add projectiles that shoot at you that you can dodge through speedboosting or switching off speed to go slower. The floor would be lava so you die if you fall off. Maps could switch between sections of long wall rides and well timed jumps to getting up poles the fastest and gaining height. I think there is a lot of possibility.
Make the fastest person in the server the winner. Games last 10 min and whoever completes it without dying the fastest wins. I just think it would be cool, any ideas would be welcome.

Blizzard should make a brawl where you could only play as your least played hero.

Hi Overwatch,
I'm a deaf gamer, and one thing that bugs me about Overwatch is the lack of subtitles.
Blizzard, you have an amazing game. Your maps are great to play on, I can see the work that goes into making sure that the maps are fairly fair sided. I see the hard work you put into characters, giving them their own personalities and breaking down stereotypes. You ensure that gamers have no advantages over others by ensuring that all characters have the same set of guns, weapons and that people cannot opt to spend money on making their character more powerful than another person with the same character. You keep the character selection interesting by allowing different skins. All in all, there is a reason Overwatch is so loved by a community of gamers with a wide variety in experiences, races and perspectives.
However, you fail to include the disabled community within this community of gamers. Now, I'm not angry at you, or disappointed. Heck, if I was, I wouldn't be spending hours on Overwatch! I understand that it's hard to make sure that your game is accessible to all, and some of us gamers will always be placed on a disadvantaged playing field, no matter what. But what you can do is look for improvements based on feedback from the community who has an interest in further improving your already stellar product. You can ensure that the gaps between a disabled gamer and an abled bodied gamer is smaller than before!
Please, for the inclusion of your entire community, include subtitles as your first step. Some great role models for this sort of thing include games such as Left for Dead 2. In L4D2, gamers with low level of hearing can read for example Boomer bursting, giving them a heads up. You could do the same for Overwatch. An example would be for D.Va's "Nerf this!", the phrase for this allows hearing people to have a quick heads up to move away from a location, but I have been in situations whereas soon as I see warning signs on my screen, it's too late. Because the ult came in from above, I have less warning than others. Or for McCree's "High Noon", I'm usually the only one still out in the open.
It wouldn't take too long to include subtitles, but would go a long way for some of us who are deeply hoping to be included equally within the game.
If you have any comments or questions, please let me know. I want to help you guys tweak your product from badass, to super badass!
Much love, Jabeswild.
(oh and also, if anyone here from NA, AUS or NZ region wants to team up with me, let me know!)
EDIT: Resubmitted as the post got caught on the Auto-Mod filter.
