• Recently acquired one of the gorgeous Hylian Shield edition 2DXLs! Loving it so far!(A Link Between Worlds too! Still after all this time, haven’t played it until now)

A discussion about BoTW of what it did right and wrong. Posted: 01 Sep 2018 07:12 PM PDT So I just beat breath of the wild, again. This time with 3 hearts and no divine beasts done. And I have to admit, the games pretty easy. All the bosses aren't very hard in my opinion and the only one that feels like a proper fight was thunderblight. Even in my first play through I beat all the divine beasts at 4 hearts and only got the master sword after I beat the divine beasts. I also feel the game is kinda small in a dungeon, there's 4 dungeons and each has the same thing you got to do and got boring after a while. I understand that the reason for so few so dungeons and there similarities were because of the story but there was so much potential that was missed, what did you want to see in this game? I wanted to see more dungeons. I guess you can make the argument that shrines count, but I like doing dungeons where at the end there's a epic boss fight, to keep it interesting. The open world was wonderful though and that's something I hope comes to every other Zelda game. I also loved the idea of cooking but I wish there was some way to store your recipes, like a cookbook you can get in a side quest.
