| Posted: 05 Sep 2018 01:17 AM PDT In a way that's actually kind of depressing, too. During the battle on the Throat of the World, I somehow managed to kill Alduin outright (as opposed to trigger the event that has him flee to Sovngarde). Paarthurnax didn't acknowledge this (obviously). He instead continued to insist on using Dragonrend, seemingly unaware that Alduin was, in fact, defeated, and instead just remained stuck in the battle. They might not have gotten along, but those two were still brothers... in-universe, it looks a lot like the poor guy just snapped. Worse, I did manage to "repair" the quest using console commands, but never his dialog... even after the other dragons acknowledge him as leader, he's still stuck in that moment in time.
