Healer Mech serum cures pregnancy :/ Posted: 04 Sep 2018 09:29 PM PDT So uhh, if you have a dying pregnant muffalo, just remember that mechs are pro-abortion To clarify, this was late-pregnancy and they'd had a leg shot off, so i tested out the new serum to see how it worked [link] [comments] |

What the Hack?! Mechanoid hacking coming to Rimworld soon! Posted: 05 Sep 2018 02:01 AM PDT What better way is there to take revenge on mechanoids than to hack them, and use them as your own combat slaves? From next Friday it will be possible with the mod called: https://i.redd.it/0mcws6clfdk11.png An in-game preview: https://i.redd.it/mdyebz7hvdk11.png After hacking, you'll be able to apply a variety of upgrades, including a turret module: https://i.redd.it/pu88ox1djdk11.png And much more: https://i.redd.it/hejse7rdwdk11.png Seems overpowered? Well, enemy raiders (with a high enough tech level) also use hacked mechanoids. Moreover, mechanoids need to be maintained and repaired, draw a lot of power, and hacking them is pretty dangerous. This will all be released Friday the 7th. I hope to see you in the Steam workshop then! One last thing. You might know me as the creator of the Giddy-up! series. So guess what the next Giddy-up! mod will be about? :) [link] [comments] |

Do you ever stand back for a second and think, "wow what a hellish shit hole I've made?" Posted: 04 Sep 2018 11:08 AM PDT All my pets long since slaughtered for their meat, half my population is prisoners that I'm feeding just enough human meat kibble for them to survive, every jail cell covered with blood from repeated suicide attempts, all three hospital beds filled with the scyther-mutilated corpses of my best hunter, best farmer, and best doctor. Most of what I'm doing is micromanaging colonists to stop them from ravenously eating raw meat the instant my cook butchers it. The only green living thing in sight is a mountain of psychoid I was planning to turn into addictive drugs to trade for guns. What am I going to do with all this human leather littering the hallways? The only thing in the freezer is the bodies of loved ones, kept close in some mad, fevered hope that a miracle will return them to life. My vision was pure; where did things go so wrong? Is this how the people felt in the last days of Jamestown? Or Jonestown for that matter? [link] [comments] |

Big praise to the Rimworld Team for introducing quality of life fixes from mods into the base game Posted: 05 Sep 2018 01:44 AM PDT I was checking the B19 additions since I just started playing it and noticed that "I Can Fix It!" was added as a default option you can toggle from the buttons in the bottom right of your screen. I thought that Rimworld felt complete at B17 but you keep finding more ways to improve the quality of the game through not just more content but also small quality of life improvements.
