TL;DR- Don't look at spoilers or spoil the ending for people and newbies. If you do talk about spoilers, please use Reddit's spoiler tag. I may post a megathread for Forsaken discussion so that we can contain it.

Forsaken is on the cusp of launching, and pretty much everyone is pretty excited.

Veterans and people who go through content fast:

Keep in mind to not spoil the ending of the expansion(s) around new players. I'm sure many of them wouldn't want what happens spoiled for them, they want to experience it themselves. If you need to talk about it, please mark whatever you say with a spoiler tag.

New players:

Hey guys! If you didn't already know, Forsaken launches today at different times worldwide. It is the newest, shiniest, and most awesome expansion for the Destiny franchise. If you've preordered or bought this expansion, great! If you haven't, that's cool too, but I strongly recommend you buy it or you'll miss out on a lot of cool stuff.

Please stay away from spoilers and don't look at the spoilers themselves if you feel they contain information on how Forsaken transpires or ends (or whatever other lore details you may come across).

Further news:

Someone apparently leaked the ending of Forsaken. What a shitty thing to do. It's recorded in really low quality, apparently. Supposedly, what happens in the 'final' cutscene is that Uldren is trying to open the key to the Dreaming City and something grabs him. My theory- this ain't the final cutscene. Bungie said in their streams that they wanted us to hunt all the other Barons down, then hunt him down. It wouldn't make sense to let him be murdered off-screen by some random thing. But that's just my $0.02. I could be very wrong. Whatever happens, try not to look at Destiny tags on social media or videos on Youtube for the next few days (if you aren't going to be able to play or will be busy on those days), you might ruin the story for yourself. Please avoid posting links to story mission gameplay or cutscenes. Other links, such as to weapons, armor, special items, etc. won't be taken down unless they have story mission or important quest relevance.

I may post a megathread for Forsaken discussion if demand is high. That way, we can contain it all to one thread. Otherwise, if you talk about Forsaken spoilers outside of the megathread for the next week or so, please try to remember to put spoiler tags.
