Found a glitch with Torturer's Hood allowing you to stack arbitrarily many enchantment effects. Can break the game similarly to the Fortify Restoration exploit.
The screech of nirnroot plagues my dreams
Stuff like this popping up even now makes me makes me appreciate this undying game so much.

I love the dark brotherhood quest line but hate the ending, with the torture chamber and the night mother's voice in my head. Planned on abandoning it early this time, and what better way than to leave that treacherous b-word lying there in agony.

She's begging, please kill me, end it, etc. I get an idea. I'll heal her instead. Spell doesn't work, so maybe reverse pickpocketing an ultimate healing potion will do the trick.

Nope! I get the "you've been caught pickpocketing" notice, Astrid leaps to her feet like her body isn't covered in 3rd degree burns and attacks me. Before I can even react Nazir runs forward and absolutely fucking murderizes her with his sword. At which point the quest advances.

Guess I'll go kill the emperor now.
