- [Discussion] In Pokemon, the most unique and rare Pokemon are only found far away from cities, or in unusual areas. In PokemonGO, rare and unusual pokemon are ONLY found in cities, in common areas. It's backwards.

YEAH LIKE THE NORMAL SPAWNS HAVE MUCH VARIETY ANYWAYS. Sighs i dont want to rage but it feels weird people prefer their 10.000 rattata that one more of anything else. Yeah the same spawns are boring after a time but how can you really be angry when at least 3 for the 4 main pokemom of that event could jump shiny anytime. When I noticed it was full which is fine being it's first come and all that. What really got me annoyed is that all 6 Pokemon are from the same player. Posted: 30 Aug 2018 12:27 AM PDT Just a few ideas: Display the number of nearby online players, or a list of nearby players sorted by the closest with the option to add them as a friend? And obviously a toggle for people who don't want the feature. An option to broadcast to nearby players, with a cooldown to avoid spam/trolling. It would pop up with a notification like '___ needs help with a raid' similar to the 'a raid is starting nearby' notification. Or simply a local chat with language filters. A streetpass type feature would also be cool. I was thinking about how a GTS service might work and this is what i came up with... You could select a pokemon from your box and offer it up for trade and then choose the pokemon you want in return. Any recent players you've passed would be able to look at your GTS profile and for a limited time, accept the trade with no distance restrictions. What do you guys think? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 30 Aug 2018 03:36 PM PDT Picked up Pokemon Go after about a year and a half and so did my SO however I have access to a wider range of pokestops and gyms while I'm all over cities in two states where she is still in college; she doesn't have a lot of pokeballs like I do (230+ PB 50+ GB 18 UB) and enough berries to feed a forest so IMO it would be a nifty update to allow trades with other friends with a decent trade cap that is whatever their level is at. My train arrived then, before the app rebooted, and thinking that I'd be able to find Chancey again easily, I got on the train and left the station before I was able to catch the Chancey. Just started playing again after 1.5 years and TMs are new. I've earned 8 this month and just used seven of my hard earned fast TMs on a Tyranitar I got in a raid last night because I've seen double rock move Tyranitar is one of the best attackers for a lot of things...So I went and used my fast TMs to get rid of bite and get rock... after 7 tries switching back and forth I figured I had the worst luck in the world, until a quick google search shows me smackdown is a legacy move.
