ESO Quest Spreadsheet

Are you anal? Do you, like me, want to keep track of each and every quest you've completed in ESO, since the default is to not keep track at all?

I've been working on this for a while now, since I like to keep track of what I've done. It's pure completionism, but I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who wants to know they've done everything. You can make a copy and add it to your drive so you can keep track of what your character has completed.

Some notes going in:

  1. Be mindful of editing if you're not familiar with Google Sheets. There is a lot of cell merging, conditional formatting, and countif formulas. If you want to fiddle around, you are obviously more than welcome to do so, but fair warning: things could go rainbow haywire.
  2. I did not include the dailies/repeatable quests because I didn't want to add checkboxes for each time I completed the quest. You can keep a running tally and add it to your "quests completed" sum formula.
  3. For each zone, I only included the public dungeons and delves, not the group dungeons. They are included under the Undaunted guild list, on the Guild tab.
  4. There's a link to each quest page on UESP, for those really confused moments. Not that anyone has ever had them.

Finally: there's a lot in this game, y'all. This spreadsheet doesn't have everything: crafting, repeatables, equipment sets. So much. Feel free to add anything you like to your copy of the spreadsheet. If you get stuck, there are a lot of tutorials on Google for how to use Google sheets.

A class for PvP beginner

Hey guys! I am a 100% PVEer and honestly feel very intimidated by everything that has to do with PvP.

What would be the best class ( easiest to play) to get into PvP?

I tried magDK for pve - this class is not for me I think, might turn that char into tank later

I also have a stamPlar and currently made my main to be a magBlade and love the class so far.

To be honest, I prefer ranged combat but don't mind that magBlade, for example, allows you fight both at a range and melee and feel comfortable.

On the forums people tend to say that stamBlade is OP or Sorc is OP.

Please share the advantages and disadvantages of any classes you tried in PvP , thanks!

Alright so after a long time of neglecting asking due to the few times I asked, certain people were super elitist and made me feel stupid for wanting to learn...

What is an ideal dps result on a dummy self ele and buffed?

I have guild mates with clips of parsing up to the 50k mark, of course using siroria zaan etc. I want to eventually run vHoF or vAS. I'm a mag blade btw and so far my highest parse is 34k. I don't use siroria either.

Really confused on this community

I've played a lot of video games throughout my life and have experienced toxic and friendly communities, but I have never experienced a community such as this, this may be the most confusingg communities in gaming history, I've seen such toxic things from here to the point I have to stop playing because of the headache is get from these 12 year olds thinking they are being funny through voice chat or etc, but it's not just the 12 year olds, people are being very toxic when it comes to world bosses, guild, fighting, and especially dungeons. But I've also experienced very good moments in thus community such as people randomly giving an free gold or carrying me through a dungeon when I obviously just dragging them down, and the role playing and dedication going on through guilds all fighting against ghost guilds and toxic guilds trying to make the game better off, and people helping low levels fighting world bosses even though they already completed them, It's just so hard to decide this community because both sides are just so extreme, could I get some help?

Old Orsinium and Crypt of Hearts are the same castle?

On the Map they are literally overlapping. I've completed both so I know they are obviously different castles but I refuse to believe you could fit two castles of that scale on the same section of that mountain range. I can't seem to find anything linking the two but surely Crypt of Hearts is other parties taking advantage of the abandoned Old Orsinium and using the more intact parts of the structure for their own purposes.

I looted an armor piece from an estate. It's a Steel, Redguard Style, lv 24 Chest piece and shoulders.

It's shiny white with a bit of black woven in, and has a blue gem above the breast plate.

My gf wanted it so I said, I'll just go craft you a whole set. The set I crafted is grey and looks like crap. Do I literally have to steal the whole set from estates or...?

Struggling to get into the game

Basically, I've been a huge fan of Elder Scrolls games since Morrowind, but ended up never doing ESO because, well, frankly, I listened to too much hate on the internet from people who had wanted it to be multiplayer Skyrim.

Recently I decided it was time to give it a fair shot. Instantly I could see that there was a lot to love about this game and that I probably should've tried it earlier.

However, I'm currently at about level 18 and really struggling to enjoy the game anymore. I feel like the quests are starting to feel very "samey", and combat mostly feels the same in almost every encounter.

Ironically, I think all of those things could probably be said about single player Elder Scrolls games too, lol, so I'm not exactly sure what the issue is.

Any suggestions to make the game more enjoyable/feel less repetitive? Should I just take a break?
