Location: Falkreath Hold

2 Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
3 Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
4 Adds 2% Healing Done
5 When you deal damage with a fully-charged Heavy Attack, you create a circle of consecrated ground that heals you and your allies within 5 meters for 11000 Health over 10 seconds. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.

You shouldn't be able to start in Summerset or Morrowind when starting a new character and should start off in Coldharbour. Change my mind

I feel like the Chapters should be treated like any other dlc zone in that you dont start playing the game there.
I feel as if it might ruin the experience of newer players because the stroyline doesnt line up?
(You take a boat to some town and talk to a person that teleports you to coldharbours prison??)

It can even be confusing for newer players because the game did not start the same way they saw others start (For example in youtube)

It can even be detrimental if a couple friends who decide to play together at the start of eso but cant because one of them doenst own the chapter.

Sure, you could say that the person can just talk to the person and go to coldharbour anyways. Problem is that for newer players it might take away the immersion and might make them feel lost or confused as they navigate the majour citites in search of the man going through quest marks after quest marks. Seems like a horrible starting experience for any new player tbh.

Making an evil character? Try this!

Hey guys! I am by no means a RP diehard, but I like my characters to have a theme and make sense. Recently I wanted to make an evil nightblade mage that was a vampire. The problem? Questing was hard because why would my character want to help or save anyone?

I decided that instead of just pretending I was doing everything for secret evil reasons, I imagine that I'm actually watching a flashback from his past. I changed his costume to be something more noble (when I do dungeons and trials I wear all black with flame skin) and pretend that I'm witnessing the old days before he was evil. As I occasionally get to make evil choices (I wish ZOS had more of them!) I can watch him slowly become his modern evil self! Anyway, try it out if you want :)

Edit: is there any other strategies or ideas you guys use?

After browsing r/elderscrollsonline I've noticed a ton of new players asking questions! It's so great to see all of you guys starting your adventure, welcome to ESO and I can almost guarantee you'll enjoy your stay, it's a huge game with a terrific community, honestly one of the least toxic communities I've come across in my gaming career minding its size of course.

If any of you have any questions feel free to ask! No question is a dumb question a new MMO can be super difficult to learn so having guildies or a subreddit to refer to can be the difference between you giving up and sticking with it!

Do Aggressive Horn benefit spell caster alot?

As a tank (cp160), I am trying to decide to use Dragon + Ebon or Torug + Ebon

It seems eventually i would get all three set anyway, but the obvious reason to use Dragon is going to try and spam Aggressive Horn a lot, but it seems (i dont know why, i must be wrong), that it doesn't help sorc as much as maybe Torug where i can constantly crush the enemies defence

Also Healers bring Aggressive horns too, would it be too much overlap?

On the other hand, would Torug be overkill in vet dungeons, i am guessing the answer is no

So as a sorc, or Mag dps in general, do you prefer to have more horns, or a boss with less resistance

It just came to me that I want my house to be a sort of club/hangout/lounge and I need NPCs to staff it. We already have a merchant and a banker.

We should be able to set the merchant as a type of merchant, like an innkeeper or a bartender.

We need band members, someone on the flute, the drum, the lute, and a bard to sing.

Pacrooti can deal cards and we can have some sort of poker.

Our fence can sell skooma and moon sugar.

I doubt ZOS would provide dancers, so we might need to recruit visitors for that.

This would be even better if we could assign our alts to these positions when they're not being played.

Maybe we can even have a free update titled Homestead: House Party.

Anyone else suffer from unbreakable stuns?

Stamina-based character, full stamina, hit by a stun and can't break out of it until the very last second of the stun.

The sorcerer's cage spell seems to be an especially difficult one to break out of, I almost always eat the full duration. The stam DK stun is also near-impossible to break out of.

Has anyone else noticed the same? I'm on PS4 so is it just a problem there or on PC also?

Cyrodiil campaign tier rewards help

I have a question about the campaign rewards from doing the 30 day pvp campaigns, what are the transmute crystal rewards, per reward tier, per character? Is it worth getting to 100,000 AP or just to 25,000? Most forums I've found haven't answered this question. I ask because I've just finished gathering my trials gear and 90% of it needs transmuting and I've heard pvp is the best way to gather and store the geodes. Any help in clarifying this would be great, thank you
