I got this email from Blizzard a long time ago with this random Diablo art. I never saw it discussed. Who is this angel with a soulstone sticking out of his head?

the image in question

I got this email and I'm sure many others did,you andbmitted a picture but direct images are banned and I was too lazy to do it again. I never (or missed) it being discussed. Current discussion swirling about D4 had me thinking about it so I dredged it back up. Who is this?

New Diablo Announcement - Poll Results

Posted: 31 Jul 2018 09:16 AM PDT

Results of poll "The next Diablo announcement - what do you believe in":

D4 (sequel or prequel) 3 386 votes 55%

D3 Expansion 824 votes 14%

D3 DLC (new class) 790 votes 13%

World of Diablo 770 votes 13%

Diablo - dark souls style 322 votes 5%

Total 6 092 Votes

These are the results of Diablo's forum communities: battle.net, diablofans, reddit diablo & diablo3 so the results could be different if asked from all playerbase.

Majority, 55 % of player base believes in D4. 27 % of player base believes that D3 will get more content and 18% believes Diablo franchise will aim to new direction.

Didn't inculed Switch or mobile because while they are possible, Blizzard is unlikely to forget other platforms with new Diablo.

D2 remastered was not included as I was asking more of new Diablo announcements.

Does anyone want my Diablo 2 RPG board game?

Posted: 31 Jul 2018 07:41 AM PDT

I will be moving in the next few weeks and am paring down stuff that doesn't need to come along. I guess I got the D2 board game included with the LOD expansion set or something, but have never opened it up and played it. Knowing this, I would expect it to have all of the necessary pieces and dice. The box is very mildly beat up from being crammed under other heavier games, but it's the original box for the Lord of Destruction set.

If you are interested in getting your hands on this for playing or just for nostalgia's sake, just PM me and we'll work it out. I am not looking to make any money off of this* (okay - maybe a little bit). So unless there is a lot of competing interest and bids (and now there are!), I will give it away for the cost of shipping to your location. Let me know if you have any other questions about this. Happy hunting, warriors!

UPDATE #1: Apologies for not including this detail earlier, but I currently reside in Odenton, MD, USA (between Baltimore and Washington, DC). I realize this might have an effect on shipping costs or potential for hand-delivery.

Also, this seems to have generated a lot of interest in a very short time. As such, I would like to add a minimal $10 cost to the game itself so that I can buy food and drinks for my friends helping me move. I already messaged the first person to PM me with the option to accept or decline this. If they decline, I will open things up for general bidding with respect to the timestamps on PMs or post replies. No matter what, I'm glad that so many are interested and this will go on to the enjoyment of others.

UPDATE #2: Person #1 in the pre-bidding line has not yet responded, but estimated cost for shipping to Canada came out to almost $30, which seems excessive to me. Still, I am letting them decide first. You all are welcome to place bids, but please include your zip code or city/state/country for estimating shipping charges.

And for future reference, I would prefer to accept payment through Venmo or Square Cash. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE #3: Due to the still growing interest in this item, I will continue taking offers auction house style. Current high bid is $100.

And some have asked for pictures to verify exactly what the product is. I am out for a family event, but I will try to post an album later tonight after I get home. Thanks for your patience.

UPDATE #4: I have created a small album of the game pieces and manuals. It looks similar to what others have posted in the comments, maybe just with different covers or packaging. Hope this helps.

Leoric's Crown Primal

Posted: 31 Jul 2018 04:58 PM PDT

So I've put hundreds of hours into the game and never got a primal drop until today in which I got 2 Leoric's Crown primals within 20min of each other.

Besides leveling up, are these items useful in end game? I'm running a monk with Sunwuko

Thanks

lost ark and d4

Posted: 31 Jul 2018 03:33 PM PDT

anyone else think that diablo 4 is gonna be more like lost ark rather than typical arpgs? i personally do

for people that dont know lost ark has 5 man dungeons and raids and also has world bosses in a large map thats instance. lost ark also features pvp in arena settings and a pvp island which i dont know much about. there are professions enchanting sailing treasure hunting. all in all lost ark is more of an mmo and personally i really hope d4 goes this route as well
