Can I get the Sunshot from Asher on an alt if I already got the Gravy Lance on my main? I wish there was an alternative to crucible challenges. Posted: 05 Aug 2018 06:34 AM PDT Disclaimer: This is going to come off a bit whiny. Ok, so by now I'm sure many of you are on your second or third character and in the process of unlocking the majority of your Solstice armour, as am I, and it's got to the point where the crucible is really showing me why I never play it. I'll admit this now, I'm bad at it and I do not enjoy it, in fact it's akin to torture for me and while it may seem easy for some to get 30 super kills or 5 wins, to me, it's a lesson in anger control. Not to mention the fact I get teamed with worse players than me all the time and that's saying something. So on to the point of this post, I just wish there was an alternative to the crucible stuff to unlock the armour. Be it 300 super kills instead of the 30 in crucible or run 50 strikes instead of the 5 victories. While the former would take a hell of a lot longer I would actually enjoy it to some extent. I'm sure this has been mentioned somewhere before but I just felt the need to vent. I'm currently on my third character and being tortured through crucible once more. I think I'm on my 9th game and I only have 1 win. Again this is me being whiny, I know, but I legit think I can't be the only one. submitted by /u/Kevakazi [link] [comments]

Super Kill Farming - Solstice Armor Posted: 05 Aug 2018 12:14 AM PDT This farm only works if you have access to the IO adventure "Postmodern Prometheus". Simple put the Postmodern Prometheus spawns an endless amount of Taken to kill(if you don't kill the Taken rifts) along with an endless amount of energy orbs from the ground. to do this you start Postmodern Prometheus and do everything up to the point it spawns in the Taken rifts and you just farm it.. if by accident you kill the Taken rifts and the vex start to spawn you should abandon the adventure and start over to stop it from finishing the adventure. If you already finished "Postmodern Prometheus" check with Asher Mir and see if he has it to replay, otherwise you can check with your friends and fireteam in. you can also use this to farm almost any kills you need. submitted by /u/InfiniteLegions [link] [comments]
