Hearthstone - Since Blizzard says they listen to the community, I feel the ToT quests are how quests should be

Since Blizzard says they listen to the community, I feel the ToT quests are how quests should be

Maybe people would disagree but, even if they don't include the dust rewards, maybe they should at least keep the quests.

The recent weeks were probably the most I've enjoyed HS since I would focus on actually enjoying the game rather than trying to win with a class either I hate playing or do not have cards for. Or trying to force myself to shove into a deck as many 1 cost/battlecry minions.

Sure maybe a counter argument would be "So if you want to have fun then just keep re rolling or ignore the quests altogether" but maybe it's in Blizzards best interest if quests encourage the players to play more.

EDIT: It's not about dumbing down the game or getting free stuff. It's about being able to play the game how people could enjoy it more. As stated above, they don't even have to give dust rewards.

Lets get Blizzard's attention to change at least the normal quests objective to Tot quest objective(no class specific quests)

If we flood r/hearthstone with these posts maybe blizzard will change these mind numbing class quest, that feel like a chore, to at least the quest objective of the Tot quests.

And honestly I am not asking for the quests to have all that gold&dust but at least change the quest objective, please Blizzards

Fatiguing Shudderwock Shaman EZ

Posted: 03 Jul 2018 06:41 PM PDT

I just played a 40 minute game of quest priest vs shudderwock shaman. Early in the game I got a deathgrip off a lich king card and stole one of the shamans lifedrinkers. Later I fell to 10 hp after some long shudderwock shenanigans and the shaman player didnt appreciate my not conceding and showed with a flurry of emotes.

I managed to play my Amara right when I needed it and psychic screamed 6 shudderwocks back into my opponents empty deck the next turn, which he thanked me for. Then I played Benedictus and waved hello.

What came next was 20 minutes of my opponent slowly dying to his own shudderwocks and the increasing fatigue count along with a flurry of "The curse take you!". All the while my health total staying comfy at 40. Thank you hearthstone for giving me this beautiful gift.

Healing rain gone terribly wrong

Thanks Blizzard for a great event AND for not taking away our incomplete ToT quests this morning

Posted: 03 Jul 2018 10:28 AM PDT

I went to bed last night without finishing a 100g/dust quest to play 25 spells, and when I woke this morning I was pleased to discover that the quest was still in my log, with the event over.

Not sure if anyone else had the same experience, but I think this was a really well-executed event by Blizzard, and for all the shitposting on this sub about the things they do wrong, or need to do better, this is one that I think they knocked out of the park.

I have never hit legend. July is my month.

Posted: 04 Jul 2018 03:05 AM PDT

As the title says I have never hit legend before. I was been playing since very early beta, spent numerous 100's of pounds to buy cards and boost my collection.

When I first started playing this game I was a first year university student with no clue what direction I wanted to take in life, I struggled through university thinking about dropping out almost monthly.

I would always play hearthstone when I could and set myself the goal of getting to legend, sometimes I would get close but I could never commit the time needed to grind those last few games out.

I would tilt majorly after one or two losses and blame the game when really it was stress around everything else.

I have now graduated from university and close to starting my new job and start the next chapter of my life. I can no longer blame time constraints or stress of studying, there is nothing standing in my way now.

I'm going to play the classes that I started my hearthstone journey with Warlock and Hunter luckily both are pretty strong in this meta right now.

Wish me luck Reddit and if anyone has any tips for grinding out the ladder I am all ears.

The madman, drafted Prince Valanar in arena and actually got the battlecry to activate. This game went into fatigue and he had 0 4-drops.

The Reign of the Salt King

Posted: 04 Jul 2018 06:22 AM PDT

I am the saltiest person that ever was. I don't even play Hearthstone that much but the little I do play has produced mines of salt so deep your mom wouldn't fill them if she fell in. I haven't smiled since I started playing. God, I'm so god damn angry.

What would happen to the casual and competitive meta if these cards (that make me wish I had kids [so I could hit them]) went Wild tomorrow?

All hero and quest cards.

The Odd/Even legendaries.

Hadronox, Shudderwock, Kingsbane, and Carniverous Cube.

All of the Rogue/Priest cards that copy cards from their opponent's class/deck.

Archbishop Benedictus

Face Collector, Prince Liam, Lynessa Sunsorrow, Rhok'delar, Lyra the Sunshard

Obsidian Statue, Inner Fire, Holy Water, Shadowform,

Ima be real with you, I just don't like wolves. So all wolves.

Soul of The Forest, Elder Longneck

Any Priest card that resurrects anything at all

Silver Sword, Sound The Bells, Tirion Fordring, Vinecleaver

Archbishop Benedictus again

Pyroblast, Kirin Tor Mage, Primordial Glyph, Antonidas, Shifting Scroll

Blazing Invocation just needs to cost more tbh

Ancestral Sp- I just saw Devour Mind again and now I have to go calm down

Prophet Velen, Malygos, Shadow Visions, Free From Amber

if a rogue puts one more goddamn spider in either of our decks

Skull of the Man'ari, Unstable Evolution, Branching Paths, Witch's Cauldron,

Rotface, Molten Blade, Dead Man's Hand

mind if I roll neeeeeeeeeeed? Also, Mass Dispel, Mirage Caller, Shadow Essence

Prince Keleseth, Elise the Trailblazer, Archbishop motherfucking BenefuckingDickAss, Leeroy Jenkins, The Lich King, Ysera

Doomguard didn't even do anything wrong but he's complicit in this cube nonsense.

student loans

King Togwaggle, Zola the Gorgon, Azalina Soulthief, Baleful Banker

Any card that resurrects dead minions

Ironically, the Priest class has proven to me that there is no god.

Any card that gives you more Secrets

oh shit, how could I forget Lady In White? Fuck Lady in White

Skulking Geist, Voodoo Doll, Jeweled Macaw

Zero Cost Silence? ZERO??? I'm drowning in salt I can't even move.

The Last Memebender

Posted: 04 Jul 2018 09:32 AM PDT

My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Brode kept balance between the Humanoid Tribes, Demon Kingdom, Elemental Nation, and the Beast Nomads. But that all changed when the Elemental Nation attacked, empowered by the newly added elementals. Only the Brode could stop the ruthless elementals, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed and the Elemental National is nearing victory.

Ozruk led an enormous army of elementals- molten giants, mountain giants, water, fire, and ice elementals. Also a magma rager as their vanguard.

This unstoppable force was threatening to destroy what was left of the humanoid tribes. Then a miracle happened. A loud laughter sounded from the top of a nearby mountain- the Brode had returned - and with him the nerf hammer. He smacked the Molten and Mountain giants with it to show dominance, and they were no longer elementals. Ozruk, having lost significant amount of his offensive power started BM-ing the Brode with threats and wows. "This isn't balanced" ... *waiting to be able to emote again* ... "This Is F#£%ING BULLS#!T". He conceded shortly after.

The nerf hammer was hidden, and the Brode, happy with his results withdrew to enjoy his retirement. But there was a prophecy- a man will appear again to wield the nerf hammer in times of need, even if the Brode was no longer there. That was his last act, and his legacy.
