| The /r/GrandTheftAutoV Rules Megathread Posted: 17 Jul 2018 04:59 PM PDT The purpose of this Megathread is to outline the details and specifics for submitting content to /r/GrandTheftAutoV without having to fill up unnecessary space on the sidebar. You can find all the Rules listed here as well as examples of what you can post and what NOT to post with some added suggestions to follow if a submission is in violation of the listed rules. It should also be said that users should follow reddiquette at all times will visiting the subreddit. Please note that The Moderation Team can remove any post or comment at our own discretion if deemed detrimental to the sub. Rule violators can be banned without warning. Rule 1: Anything not directly related to Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. This means all other GTA games. This subreddit is for Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online material ONLY. Submissions involving titles from Grand Theft Auto VI, IV, Episodes from Liberty City, San Andreas, Vice City, etc. are not permitted and will be removed. Suggestions if your post violates Rule 1:
Rule 2: No Memes or Macro Images of any kind. This rule speaks for itself. Memes and Macro Images are not allowed on this subreddit. Suggestions if your post violates Rule 2:
Rule 3: No Low-Effort Submissions. This includes low quality posts, all CAPS, reposts, and non-descriptive titles. Take pride in your submissions. If you don't take the time to format a post correctly, then why should people view what you have to say? Rule 6: Real life pictures and videos are generally discouraged, however, some submissions maybe approved if a post is of high quality and generates good discussion. Consider this section a gray area. Generally, real life pictures and videos are usually frowned upon, however, that's to be taken with a grain of salt as some submissions in the past have been proven popular with users. To that end, some real life pictures and videos MAY be approved by the Moderation Team if the post is of high enough quality and generates some good discussion in the comments section. | [PC] Stuttering with high FPS and CPU usage at 100% Posted: 17 Jul 2018 06:51 PM PDT I swear it didn't happen a while ago, but I've been having really bad stuttering in both story mode and online. I've also checked task manager and it appears that GTAV is always at 100% CPU usage and that drops to about 90% during every stutter. My game usually runs at 90-100 FPS and drops to like 50 or 60 when it stutters. It's less noticeable the lower I limit my FPS, but it still happens. I've tried doing a clean reinstall of my drivers, changing my page files, changing my Nvidia control panel settings, verifying game cache, resetting graphics settings to default, changing the program to high priority, changing power settings, and probably some other things I can't remember. The game is also already on an SSD. Specs: i5-7600k GTX 1070 8 GB VRAM 16 GB DDR4 RAM G2460PG G-Sync Monitor [link] [comments]  |

Tonight i had someone in the living room look at the TV to see if I was just nuts. I was not. As an experiment I took a potshot with a rocket launcher and suddenly a Buzzard helicopter was falling out of the sky. Has anyone else see this? [link] [comments]  |

GTA V went on sale in Steam today. I was reading reviews and many of people dislike GTA V Online because they have been banned by Rockstar because of cheating, but in reality they got abused by other cheaters. Does this problem still exist? Can Rockstar unban the legit player? If I get banned, can I still play online somehow? I'm sorry bothering everyone with my questions, I just want to know everything about this game before purchase, because 20$ on video game is huge money for me. [link] [comments]  |

I was going through cars on my phone in gta and I saw the Hermes was FREE, but when I bought it, it charged my account 500k or something. Can I refund the car or get my money back somehow? This isnt my account so I wouldnt mind if it was but I feel like im in trouble. EDIT: I went back to the GTA 5 phone and looked at the hermes and now it costs money (535k) [link] [comments]  |

It never once require me to sign up for a Social Club account or sign into one whenever I launch GTA 5 on steam.
