Squirt Battle Pet Levelling day is tomorrow, June 13, on NA servers

If you're looking for a quick, painless way to level up your battle pets, tomorrow is a perfect day to do it. Pet Battle Bonus week is happening this week, giving triple experience, and Squirt is coming to the Garrison tomorrow (for North American servers).

Xu-Fu's Battle Pet Guide has excellent strategies on what pets to use to ensure easy grinding. Personally, I use the Enchanted Broom + Boneshard strategy, which has worked amazingly well for me in the past.

Also, don't forget about your Safari Hats and pet treats!

Warning about Blizzard currency cards right now

I got in contact with Blizz support after getting a blizz gift card for the battlenet currency. Apparently there is an issue where once you load the card your balance is not showing up still. They are unsure when they will have it resolved so I thought id give the heads up.

BfA beta pvp: Belf racial, Arcane Torrent, can remove stealth

My friend just tested the Blood Elf racial, Arcane Torrent, on the beta, via dueling. Stealth can be a buff that gets removed via Arcane Torrent.

He also tested the Demon Hunter's spell, Consume Magic. It can remove stealth, too. Haven't tested any other dispels as of yet.

Note: We haven't tested any dispels (like Consume Magic) on the live, non-beta servers, so they may all already dispell stealth. And, if this was already known and isn't a big deal or whatever, please downvote this post to oblivion. TYVM!

Is anyone else worried about Artifact Power being the sole reason/ primary reward for doing content in BfA?

Personally I never had to grind for AP except for the start of Legion but back then the system was fresh and new so I didn't really mind it (it only became a chore once you had to think about alts/off specs). AP in Legion always seemed to me to have the design philosophy of offering players a constant reward regardless of the content they were doing and always offering people a sense of progression. I never did my emissaries because of the AP, I personally did them for the chance of legendaries. For me it's the same story with Argus, I was always farming veiled argunite to get an Arcano Crystal or other good loot and the AP was just something I got along the way. In BfA a lot of content seems to only exist as a way to obtain AP like Emissaries or island expeditions. I strongly dislike the fact that I'll be doing content purely for the AP rewards rather than having AP as a consolation prize/permanent secondary reward. I imagine that this is going to burn me out extremely quickly which surprisingly the legendary system never did to me and I got my BiS legendary on my main 9th out of 10 available legendaries at the time. This is probably because even if I got a bad legendary (which would suck) It would always mean I'm a step closer to getting my BiS so that kept me motivated. Whilst the AP system in BfA doesn't really feel like it offers me something permanent it's just a way to keep myself from drowning from the higher and higher requirements that gear will need before I can fully use it.

The attitude to how AP works in BfA is also quite different to that of Legion, in Legion my AP was always working me towards my next reward be it a golden trait, concordance of legionfall or the Netherlight crucible. These were permanent rewards that increased my characters power level, so even if the grind was bad the rewards were generally good. In BfA AP seems to be more like a prerequisite before you can fully use a single piece of gear, it's not something cool that I unlock and keep forever it's something that keeps a piece of gear is essentially locked behind before I can use it. In my opinion this is just inherently less fun and the attitude to the rewards is more like constantly keeping yourself afloat rather than reaching a goal and unlocking something permanently and then moving onto the next goal.

TLDR: AP in Legion felt like permanent progression with constant rewards and was obtained naturally from doing content but wasn't the sole reaosn to do it. AP in BfA feels like something I have to grind before I can use a certain piece of gear with no permanent sense of progression and AP gain seems to be the primary reason to do a lot of content.

Sorry that this probably seems like a massive mess, I suck at writing.

For me it was (mostly) Uther the Lightbringer. I've also always loved shields for some reason so Protection Paladin suits me well.
