Edit: I understand it being a good business and publicity tactic to promote the new game, it's still disappointing to see them ignore loyal creators who have dealt with their shit for years.

There I was, as happy as can be, as I had just put my son down to sleep. As I left his bedroom, I had looked back to admire him one last time before I closed the door, ever so gently.

Feeling accomplished, and full of excitement at the thought of having some time to myself, I think: "It'S TIME TO G-G-G-G-GGGGAME!"! So what do I do? Well, I turn on SMITE, of course! As I queue up Arena and eagerly await my time to shine...I see it...

There, in the middle of my screen, sits a petite girl. She steps back, as if she's a predator, ready to lunge at her prey. In that instance, I scramble for the remote control, in a desperate attempt to mute the sound.

Alas, I was too late, for within that moment of pure terror, the jaws of the nightmare known as "Scylla" had opened up to release a thunderous exclamation:

"I'M A DRAGOOOOOOOOON!!!!"

A few seconds pass. I sit in silence and suspense, as I wonder if that shout had the effect I was thinking it did...it did. Gone was my freedom, as my son had awoken from his slumber, and replied to Scylla in kind with a thunderous cry. No SMITE tonight, Papa Bear...No SMITE tonight...

Don’t Usually post but there is a Group in ranked Xbox that has the ability to diss connect you from the match.

With the recent Xbox dc's at first I thought it was just a normal game crash or disconnect. But it isn't often that my internet goes out in the whole damn house all of a sudden... twice! (Within the same match) Then when I realized what was happening I used my phone hotspot, and then I was safe from the random disconnect. But guess what, then all of a sudden within a minute or realizing they can't out my internet, my friends connection die. Like wtf it couldn't have been more obvious. Then I realized after the match that the same thing has happened to me about a week or two ago, and it was the exact same players in that match as well...

I have already reported these guys on Xbox and was wondering if there is anything else I can do? Won't post their gamer-tags cause I don't know if the post will get removed, but one dude has 2 characters and the other has 3 in their gamer-tags in case anyone else realizes too.

Why Chang'e, Nox, and Scylla will never be able to get anything other than dresses for skins.

Their base model is tied to their dresses. And I don't think any of them have a complete pair of legs under those dresses. I know Chang'e has legs up until her knees. Also, they all glide.

I always wanted Chang'e to have something other than a dress, but I don't think its possible without some extensive modifications to her legs and walking animation.

Though, maybe the same could be said for the legged Goddesses. Could someone like Awilix or Serqet function properly with a long dress? Could it be done without having to drastically change the structure of their base model?

There are games and moments that I see such a good opponent that I really want to tip them. and I think it helps the community's behavior too. Unfortunately the tipping is not happening much these days, might the Store. But wish we could have this for good enemy players.

The only matches I've had with him were against fairly bad teams so I'm not sure if he's really good or they were just really bad. In my laning phases I ended up against choices that were bad against him it seemed like anubis. As every time he used any move where he stood still I'd just burst him. Just curious what most have to say about him and where he fits in tiers.

How do you think you would react if Smite got shut down?

I woke up to smite having 400 views on twitch and it got me thinking, What if Smite was gone, like right now? how would I feel?

I personally would fill extremely saddened. I think there would be a void in my heart, like I lost a love one. Maybe I'll feel pain in trying to quit an addiction type of way..?.?

We normally hate on this game for it's bugs, mm , ect, but people don't normally realize what they have until it's gone. Thoughts?

Hello Everyone!

I just created an account but have been playing SMITE for three years and reading posts on here since then as well. I just wanted to know what everyone's favorite God is in terms of kit design, fluidity, appearance, and attention to detail. Of course, this is all a matter of opinion.

Mine would have to be either Ganesha or Ravana. I am biased towards Ravana, being a Ravana main. I understand his kit isn't super lore friendly, but the ten heads he had in lore are said to be metaphorical in certain interpretations. I love his design, and the attention to detail they gave to his model. His kit is super fluid for me, which keeps him fun. Ganesha is just amazing, in terms of kit design and lore accuracy.

So, what are people's thoughts?

Is it me or is it just too hard to get a good match on console?

Every single match someone rages out or bugs out or just feeds or everyone you've paired with wants to insta lock so you end up in mid with 4 junglers somehow. It's just gotten soo toxic and depressing maybe one in every 10 matches ends up being a regular match for me. Even that much is kinda being generous it's very bad. Reports seem to do little to nothing and people aren't scared to rage out because poppa Hi-Rez gives them a gentle love tap of a two minute time out. I'm sure on PC it's not as bad as you can communicate better but on here it's Hel.
