Welcome to /r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS' Sunday Dinner, where we all sit around the table and share our delicious chicken. Whether it is your very first or 100th chicken dinner, everyone is welcome! With the creation of this megathread we will now begin limiting these posts during the week, so be sure to save em up and submit any and all of them here every Sunday.

Here are the rules for this thread:

  • Videos & Images only - no gifs.
  • Videos must be no more than 5 minutes, minimally edited, and contain the victory screen at the end.
  • If you have multiple wins, please keep them all to the same post as to not overly crowd the comment section.

*So recently PUBG has offered gun skins for DrDisRespect and for Shroud to be purchased by the community in the game PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS .The reasoning was for being top streamers for the game. While we don't dispute this, we believe that a 3rd skin should be offered to someone that is a true ambassador for the game. WackyJacky101 has a love for the game that far exceeds anyone's. His positive attitude and content that he offers, keeps this community involved with the game as much as Doc and Shroud. He puts in countless hours with YT videos to help the community understand the mechanics of the game. Even the pro players praise him for his efforts to help the PUBG community get the most out of the game. This is no way to undermine the skins given to Doc and Shroud, this is merely a request to offer a third skin to someone truly deserving of the recognition. Thank You for reading and we hope he gets his skins.

Why, in my opinion, Miramar is superior to Erangel

So I know from polls that the significant majority of people disagree with me, but I still think that Miramar (the desert map) is superior for the following reasons:

  1. More diversity: In terms of building design and town layout, Miramar at least feels significantly more diverse than Erangel. Many of the towns have defining features or buildings that are not as present in Erangel; is there really much of a difference between Zharki and Lipovka and Primorsk? On the other hand, Los Leones feels way different from San Martin
  2. More verticality/better building fights: because of the higher amount of multi-story buildings, fights across the street in, for example, San Martin feel more fun than just shooting the guy in the house right next to you in Erangel.
  3. Better endgame: because of the fact that cover is mostly limited to trees, rocks, and bushes for hiding, Erangel's endgame often feels very random to me. If you happen to be in the part of the circle with good cover, you're golden, otherwise you're fucked. In contrast, the rolling hills of Miramar provide more consistent cover because both sides of the hill are hidden from each other.
  4. Better loot; Miramar just has guns that Erangel doesn't have, mainly the sawed off and the revolver which are both solid sidearms that aren't in Erangel

I know that a lot of people have an emotional connection to Erangel because they got their first chicken dinner there (as did I), but I feel like this gets in the way of discussion of the two maps.

Why is this a FULL release?

Like I do love the game, game is evolving, it is in development for 2.5 years, but it is NOT a finished product.

Desync everywhere, bugs on every corner, etc. etc.

Why developers had to push it for full release if this game is still in beta? There would not be so much toxicity and fix this comments, because the response would be, this game is still in beta, but is not.

I think this decision is making the game degrading lower and lower...

I hate to be the person to post my problems on a forum or subreddit, but this is starting to get a bit old. Does anyone have any idea what is up with the FPP servers in OC? I am unable to find a game in solos, duos, and squads. I have tried both searching to be matched with players and searched with mates and I can't find a single game. TPP works fine, so it can't be a ping thing right? Not sure if I'm breaking any rules here, and if anyone has this same problem please speak up because from the research I've done I'm apparently not the only one with this problem. Thanks everyone any help is greatly appreciated and will be rewarded by my undying love and affection
