PGI Skins Clarification

Hey everyone,

We've been receiving some questions about the PGI Exclusive Skins and wanted to clarify exactly how to get them.



How do I get the PGI Exclusive Skins?
  • 1 exclusive skin will be distributed each day to those who attend PGI. See the image above for a breakdown of when each skin is available.
  • You must have a ticket and must be in-person at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany on each of the PGI dates to receive all the skins.
  • Skins will be distributed via a gift code.
  • If you've purchased tickets, but do not attend in person, you are not eligible to receive the skin for that day.
Will the PGI Exclusive Skins be sold separately?
No, they are only for PGI attendees.

Will I be able to purchase the PGI skins on the Steam Market?
Yes, items will be available on the Steam Market about a month after they've been claimed.

Event Pass: Sanhok - Bonus XP Event

Hi everyone,

Last week, we released "Event Pass: Sanhok" alongside our new 4x4 map, Sanhok.

We've received a lot of great feedback about Sanhok and the Event Pass so far, but there have been some issues due to server instability, unclear mission wording, and missions which are not completing, despite players meeting the requirements.

Our team is currently working on these issues to make improvements, and we will continue to collect feedback from the community to make the Event Pass missions error-free, and as enjoyable as we possibly can.

To compensate for any potential XP losses that you may have faced due to the issues mentioned above, we will be running a XP login reward event as shown below.

Event Start
June 29, 2am PDT / June 29, 11am CEST / June 29, 6pm KST

Event End
July 2, 2am PDT / July 2, 11am CEST / July 2, 6pm KST

Event Participation Method
Log into the game during the event duration outlined above.

Event Reward
If you log into the game anytime during the event, you will be given a single bonus of 400XP towards your Event Pass progress.

Some extra things to keep in mind:
- The event reward will be shown as a pop-up once you log into the game.
- You will only be given the reward once, even if you log in multiple times.
- If you fail to receive a reward during the event, please contact our customer support for further help.
- Also reach out to customer support for any other issues with the Event Pass (such as problems receiving rewards).

Hi everyone,

Before we get into the patch notes, we'd like to talk about Event Pass: Sanhok.

As we've said in the dev notes, the Event Pass was introduced to let players experience a different way to enjoy new PUBG content. Your feedback regarding the Event Pass has been extremely valuable to us, and we're making some changes based on the feedback received.

Firstly, we've upped the daily XP limit and reduced the minimum play time required to count towards mission progress. We're implementing these changes first on the test server. The changes will be added to the live servers as soon as possible.

We will continue to monitor your feedback and address other issues related to the Event Pass in the near future.

Patch Notes

Event Pass: Sanhok
  • Event Pass system's progression mechanisms have been adjusted.
    • Daily XP Limit 80 → 120
    • Minimum play time required to count towards mission progress: 5 minutes → 2 minutes
    • Minimum play time required to acquire XP: 5 minutes → 2.5 minutes
    • Base play time XP payment is now granted in 2.5 minute intervals, instead of 5 minute intervals. Previously, 2 XP was granted every 5 minutes, now 1 XP is granted every 2.5 minutes.
  • For Duo or Squad games, mission progress is updated when your team wins the game, or when your whole team is eliminated.
  • 'Reach top 3 without killing anyone in Solos' mission requirements have been changed. The mission now requires reaching top 3 with 2 kills or less.
Crates
  • Aviator Crate is now included in the Random Crates, and the overall chance of acquiring each crate has been changed as follows:


Sound
  • The volume of footsteps has been slightly increased.
Performance
  • Optimized memory encryption mechanism to decrease lag.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where walking on thatched roofs on houses in Sanhok did not produce footsteps.
  • Fixed an issue where even under correct zeroing settings, the ADS aim point and actual bullet trajectory were slightly misaligned.
    • This issue was most noticeable with the QBZ and crossbow
