Competitive Megathread | Week of May 27 2018 | The Summer SPL Split Begins Posted: 28 May 2018 06:42 AM PDT HERE IT GOES AGAIN The Smite Summer Split is finally here. After an epic comeback over Team Dignitas in the Spring Finals, RivaL enters as the top team in the World in a competitive European Division. Obey Alliance started to mesh together towards the end of last split as they took a set off of NRG and games off other top teams. North America proved to be absurdly competitive last split, with teams like Counter Logic, EUnited, Trifecta, LG, and Splyce all looking very good against each other--however Space Station seemed firmly rooted at the top. But how will the new additions to rosters impact game play? The only announced change so far is that SK has picked up the historic HalfDevi who lead his old team, Exposed Secrets, to many wins back in Season 1. I believe they are playing on 5.9, but I'm unsure of Chernobog's availability. How will the metas of each region change after international play? Will NA become more late game focused? Hi-rez actively ignoring support tickets? Posted: 28 May 2018 06:36 PM PDT So a certain anti-cheat program we all know doesn't actually work somehow managed to false-positive me into a permaban, when I know for a straight fact there's not even a mod DLL on my entire computer. I've been trying to get in touch with hi-rez for two weeks; asking for the six-digit account ID so said company can unban me, but not only are the forums ignoring me, hi-rez is ignoring me, and now this company has started to ignore me because I've asked them four times to remove the black given that they admitted it was a false positive and not a cheat or hack/mod ect. Can anyone help me with this? I'm losing my mind and nobody seems to care. They ended up 0-12 by the time we could surrender (normally I would try to soldier on but our Thanatos (yes, multiple assassins) went 0-5 and left). I was a bit miffed so I messaged the Arachne just asking what the point of wasting peoples time is. They messaged back a bit confused wondering what I was talking about so I told them trolling just gets you reported and to buy items at least. They apologised. I felt bad, I don't like being angry. I apologised and explained I was just stressed about the game. We got talking and it turns out it was one of this guys first games so I explained to him some details about items, abilities and the gods (he had Arachne and the free rotation, said he got Arachne cos he likes spiders). We played a few games after and he was picking it up steadily. It makes it far more likely I'll get something that I want and at the same time I'll probably spend way more money on Smite. I've been wondering what the constraints of what can show up in the bundles are. Can convention skins show up?
