Realistic operator explanations; IQ Posted: 28 May 2018 07:05 AM PDT The thiccness might just be the least realistic part! TL;DR at bottom IQ; A beefed up RF, WiFi, Bluetooth, and camera detector Law enforcement, particularly detective side, needs to be able to find bugs and hidden cameras. To do this, they use devices called bug finders, which you can actually buy on amazon if you want to be a private eye. These bug finders are able to find any device using Bluetooth, wifi, gps, or a radio frequency, and on top of that they can find hidden cameras. Most of these devices have a limited display, but recently, thieves have been using modified devices to pinpoint electronics in vehicles to within 2 meters. This means, using a high tech version of a bug finder with an arm mounted hud, IQ can find any device controlled by a phone, any camera, any device emitting a radio frequency, and anything linked by bluetooth or wifi. Note that even lesion's mines transmit real time location and status so he knows which ones are where, as well as if they went off, so they are detectable. TL;DR IQ has a spy kids bug finder that lets her track any device that does RF, wifi, Bluetooth, or is a camera. It also functions as a tape player. [link] [comments]
Realistic operator explanations; Ying Posted: 28 May 2018 01:02 PM PDT Might be super bored over the next few days so we'll see if I can get through them all. Ying: 9 bangs and welding goggles. Military issue flash bangs actually work in two ways. First, of course, they flash you to cause temporary blindness. The brightness of a flash bang can even go through closed eyelids, and causes temporary blindness by activating every photoreceptors in your eye. This lasts 5-15 secs. On top of that, they create a concussion effect and a noise of about 180 decibels, which is louder than a gunshot. The concussion effect is actually worse and can cause headaches, nausea, and general disorientation while your inner ear tries to figure out what just happened. The disorientation lasts much longer than the flash. The bright flash can be defeated using readily available tech with a rainbow twist, that is, a synchronized drop down or transition welding visor. The visor is linked to the candela, so it doesn't drop down until the flash is deploying, and so it comes back up after the last flash! The next part is the concussive bang noise, which can be defeated with ying's over ear electronic ear protection What's really insteresting is why Candelas work even looking away. The simple solution to this lies in being a modified 9 bang. The idea behind the 9 bang is that it will literally fill a room with small flashbangs, making it impossible to really look away. ying cranks that up by making each projectile a stand alone flashbang, dispersing them in a controlled pattern, and by being able to deploy it from relative safety if the wants. This means that when you get candela'ed you're basically in a room where all is flash, and since flashbangs can even work through eyelids, you can't even close your eyes to stop it. TL;DR Ying took 9 bang technology, made it bigger, gave it a controlled pattern, and linked it electronically to a fancy set of blackout/ welding goggles so she could run in. [link] [comments]

Realistic operator explanations; Pulse Posted: 28 May 2018 06:17 AM PDT Crazy enough, OG wallhacks are already a reality today! TL;DR at bottom Pulse; Uses NASA tech so stop resisting Pulse's sensor is actually probably a direct ripoff of the NASA jet propulsion lab's FINDER rescue technology. In 2013 NASA published an article on it's new toy, named Finding Individuals for Disaster and Emergency Response, and it is literally a heartbeat sensor The specs for NASA's toy is 9 meters through rubble, 6 meters through solid concrete, and 30 meters in the open to detect a human heartbeat. In 2015, NASA used it to find Nepal survivors, and in 2017 they used it to help find Mexico quake survivors, so it is proven technology. They are obviously mum on exactly how it works, but it's not even a jump to say rainbow cerakoted a FINDER unit and gave it to pulse. What's crazy is that house walls are pretty thin so pulse's original detection range was probably more realistic! TL;DR Pulse has a NASA FINDER unit painted black. Unless NASA somehow resisted selling their device to the government there are probably heartbeat sensors in use by police and military today. [link] [comments]
