I should not lose a rank for losing 2 v 5 (everyone left at 1-1) when I got more kills than the top 4 on their team combined. This is a serious issue and needs to be looked at. People that leave early also need to be punished more severely.

Y3S3 Leaks – Part I

Hey there, it's time for some data mining ! Not as much info as the previous seasons I'm afraid, Ubisoft is probably trying to avoid these posts from happening.

As always, keep in mind that all the informations below are subject to change, we are talking early stuff in development, anything can be changed or discontinued. You can also check everything by yourself by doing a dump of your client, I however don't answer to requests asking me how to do so.

While I named this post "Y3S3", it's obviously not exclusive to this season, some things might even be for Year 4, who knows.

Microtran$actions

Let's start with the bad news first: Event-exclusive Lootboxes are back. There is no indication as to what they will contain nor how they will work. Hopefully they've learned their lesson and will adopt a different model this time.

There is right now 2 kind of new alpha packs: Summer18 and Twitch18, as well as a Nameless18 but it is likely a placeholder for one of the two previous, or a future one like Winter.

Breacher Operator

Very little information about this one, but it's the only I found that validates with what Ubi talked about. I'll let you judge by yourself:

All of which are around other gadgets names. I really like the idea of having a breacher using a blow torch. We might have more information during the mid-season patch.

Speculation

There is however no informations regarding new weapons or another operator yet, the gadget list also got cleaned which might be due to the fact they don't want everything leaked again.

Among the ones removed, only two stand out for me: HoleBlocker and AudioAlarm.

Audio Alarm

Here are the strings I found related to it:

Now this is a gadget that has been around since ... 2 seasons if I'm right. However I initially said in a previous leak post that it was Lion, which is not, as Lion is 'TagDevice'. I then judged that AudioAlarm was Ela's mine, but as there is already a 'ConcussionMine' (vs ConcussionGrenade for Zofia) I am also having doubts.

In addition, here are strings that can be found in the Chimera client but NOT in Para Bellum TTS:

EventAudioAlarmTriggerState_None EventAudioAlarmTriggerState_FirstTime EventAudioAlarmTriggerState_NotFirstTime EntityEffect_AudioAlarmAffected AudioAlarmState_UnStickied AudioAlarmState_Stick AudioAlarmState_Idle AudioAlarmState_Triggered AudioAlarmState_Disabled

I really can't tell if it's something already here like Ela (it looks pretty similar) or a future gadget. I guess we'll see. Again this is speculation, don't consider this an actual thing.

Hole Blocker

Here are strings found in the Para Bellum client:

And here are strings found in Chimera client:

HoleBlockerType_Single HoleBlockerType_Double HoleBlockerType_Trap WeaponAddonEnum_HoleBlocker [don't worry, it doesn't stick to a weapon]

That's not a lot of informations, but it's sounds like a very interesting gadget, that would provide counter play to breachers, especially if we're going to have a third one. Let's hope they didn't cancel it.

No signs of new weapons, but there is still the mysterious POF-9 that is still not released, as well as the CAR-15. I bet none of you saw the AA-12 coming for the italians, I sure wasn't. What do you think about a breacher operator working with a blow torch ? What is your opinion regarding upcoming lootboxes ?

I really think Mira honestly deserves an Elite Skin. She has made a huge impact on Siege and one of the most refined and well made operators introduced after launch.

What do you guys think?
