Posted: 10 May 2018 05:13 AM PDT About a month ago, /u/PUBG_Tamat wrote here that the blue zone changes will be reverted because of mixed feedback. When can we get an update on the Blue Zone changes again? I am pretty sure the majority of people loved the changes that got reverted. The top comment in said thread sums it up pretty nicely. I'm sure it doesn't take that long to come up with such changes? Considering that it has taken so long, I'm assuming PUBG Corp. is yet again completely overhauling the whole system and making unneeded changes instead of doing smaller adjustments and letting us test it again. The DP-28 is so much fun to use this patch Posted: 10 May 2018 12:41 AM PDT Nothing more satisfying than lying down on top of a hill with 300 rounds of 7.62 and a 6x DP-28 and reenacting the somme on some poor fools in the field below. DP-28 is a lazer if you lie down and is still useable in burst mode while standing. So much fun compared to last patch where i always wanted to us it but it just wasn't that feesible as it was kinda trash. Also pre-firing corners and running into rooms with a DP to clear out some fools is so much fun. Gun is balanced as their is never enough 7.62 for it and it's a bit useless at long range standing up. But anyway thanks devs for making the DP somewhat viable this patch. Now giff more 7.62 ammo and let us put some attachments on it (nah probably not gun is balanced as it is) [link] [comments] | ||

Should PUBG allow Kill Trades? (Poll) Posted: 10 May 2018 07:39 AM PDT Good morning, After seeing some posts around here I wanted to take a quick poll to see people's opinions in the matter of kill trades. For clarification: in the games current state, if two players fire a killing shot at each other milliseconds apart, the first projectile to hit registers a kill and the projectile still in the air has its damage removed. So one player will always come out victorious. It seems that many people on Reddit hate this concept and want to be awarded the kill resulting in two dead players. Link to my poll: Strawpoll - Should Kill Trades Be Allowed? My take: My personal opinion is that kill trades are bad for the game and are unfun in general. My take on it is that, no one benefits from kill trades. The guy who died first will always die, so why would that person care? Place yourself in the killers shoes: he shoots, sees the kill, then dies after. It's like a punishment for taking fights in general. Thanks for taking the time to read this and answer my poll. Posted: 09 May 2018 04:21 PM PDT Mid-range tap firing with an M16 should be a smooth and natural experience, if anything it should be its strength over other ARs due to its lack of full auto fire. Now? Each shot is kicking like I'm trying to hipfire a minigun. Meanwhile, you can mag-dump UMPs and Vectors at 100 meters without even trying to control recoil assuming you have the grips & compensator. Honestly the nerfs to ARs were way over-done when put alongside all the other buffs to weapons, the M4 was definitely a problem child but the M16 and SCAR-L did not deserve the shit they got. Red zone changes on the test server seem back to front Posted: 10 May 2018 06:40 AM PDT In the game as it stands, if the next circle spawns on you, you have an distinct advantage that you didn't earn. You can hole up, loot up and shoot people as they have to run in. What's more you have more time to move so that you can be in a better position for the NEXT circle. If the circle doesn't spawn on you suddenly you have to displace, run towards dug in positions and, if the next circle is on the far side you can potentially end up straight running for several circles in a row. The change means that, in addition to those things you now don't have to worry about the red zone when you are already in a strong position and the poor dudes running in do... It feels back to front. The red zone should hammer the inner circle so that people running in have cover to get into position and so those who are just sat waiting have something to consider other than just finding the best tree/rock to crouch behind.
