| I got unbanned (from a false positive ban)and here's how Posted: 28 May 2018 07:26 AM PDT I got a 100 year ban on the 26th in the evening for no apparent reason (obviously no cheats, sketchy programs or firewalls that interfere with the anti-cheat, etc). I submitted a ticket and I heard nothing from it though this was a Holiday Weekend. I found a bunch of threads about false positive bans and one on Reddit stuck. Eventually the community manager saw this and did a great job of responding and asking for player ID information that he forwarded to the anti-cheat team. Clean players had their bans removed. Comment on Riggle's comments to this post with your Steam ID link and your in game player name typed out correctly (https://www.reddit.com/r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS/comments/8mhlgt/whats_with_all_this_ban_threads/) if you are falsely banned. Perhaps we may even be able to get an answer about what happened. Posted: 27 May 2018 10:18 PM PDT They say that if the queue last for longer than 4 hours I should consult a doctor, but what happens if it lasts for 4 days??? Legit tho, haven't found games in forever. This has been going on for weeks now and needs to be fixed ASAP, or else when (or if) it does get fixed there will be no one left on the server to play with. I just want some confirmation that PUBG Corp knows about this issue and is actually doing something towards it, as opposed to worrying about how much to charge people to change their names. Myself and my squad all agree that the SLR is better in nearly every way than the SKS. Like if we have an SKS and we find an SLR, we're going to swap out the SKS for it 100% of the time. Some of my mates even think its a tad OP minus the MK 14 which is even better. I more or less agree. But its way more rare in the loot pool, but not strong enough to be in the crate so its balanced. They say that if theyre sniping with a Kar98k and they come across an M24 in the world, they would drop the Kar98k for it too, just like the SKS vs SLR. I can also see where they come from with the way helmets are. The Kar98k one shots a Lv.2 but not a Lv.3. Same deal with the M24. The only differences with it in comparison is reloading with mags instead of stripper clips, damage of about 15 points, and a 10 meter per second faster travel speed. Otherwise theyre more or less identical. Overall, they argue that the M24 either needs a buff to earn that crate spot, or it should be taken out of the crate as a rare spawn like the SLR. I dont necessarily disgaree. What do you think? [link] [comments]  | ||
