i'm an otp wukong and the only reason is that he's Goku, my favorite anime character... when Japanese server came out and Masako Nozawa voiced Wukong i was so excited. even though rito doesnt want us to use 3rd party tools i just had to... my favorite champ with my favorite voice... but i used it only for couple of months it was annoying to patch every update.

but now we cant fully choose voiceover language even if we wanted to. rito changed file system, there's no way to have fully japanese voice with english text. its annoying. its so simple to let us choose them separately. even a basic 3rd party apps could do it. its possible and easy to make it official feature.

there's no reason not to... its not a cheat, doesnt give you advantage, its just improves overall enjoyment. we play games to have fun, Goku's voice with Wukong would do that for me!

now easiest and best way to do it editing your "LeagueClientSettings.yaml" file. putting ja_JP to locale... but it changed all the text as well. i can't read Japanese...

also not letting people to use any language on any server is weird... people may move to a different country, they might wanna improve their language, they might wanna have fun etc. giving us a basic feature like that is not hard for riot to do.

Our beloved Lee Sin OTP just cosplayed as a Graves during a danish carnival. All of his cosplay was made by his girlfriend who also happened to be cosplaying as Ashe. I know reddit is more into female cosplays (and Sneaky's) but lets show some love manly bearded man with a huge gun.

5/26 at 3:00 PM PST the tournament starts with 8-teams and it's a Bo1. Since Clash was cancelled he went out of his way to start his own. Will consist of mostly Bronze to Gold players. I just wanted to throw that out there if you guys wanted to join in on the fun. Hope to see you guys.

Edit 2: Just a heads up, it's a new cast for the Home Team. Since it was all last minute some of them didn't answer back in time and most of them have school/work and in respect to Flowers and trying to keep things organized my team is Officially locked and with new people so I don't mess up his stream schedule. However, the original Home team is still down for another Flowers stream if he plans another one in the future.

I took the liberty to make a support ticket asking if the option to request more detailed info about your account such as:

Grouped report history, Detailed purchase history, Chat logs (Last 3 months). Was still available, before the GDPR you had to send a hand written letter and a "Nominal fee" of $5. Now all of that is free and you just have to submit a support ticket.

Taken from an article Riot Support posted about this.

You can make a data request by submitting a ticket. After a short process to confirm you as the original creator of the account, you'll receive the following personal information related to your account:

  • Your Summoner name, username, and server

  • The phone number attached to your account

  • Your account sign-up date, IP address, and email address

  • Your registered date of birth

  • Aggregate report history, including reports made and received. Report notes are not included.

  • In-game chat logs for the last 3 months (other player names will be redacted)

  • Login history for the last 3 months

  • Account modifications for the last 3 months

  • All store transactions (skins, champions, etc.)

  • All monetary (RP) purchases

Once you make a request, it'll take 30 days to process. You can cancel your request at any time by clicking the cancel link in your ticket. Changing your email or resetting your password will also cancel your request automatically.

After making a request, you'll need to wait 30 days to make another one. If your request is canceled in any way, you'll need to wait 30 days after the date of cancellation to make another request.

Riot Stephichu on ARURF bugs and difficulties around the Rotating Game Modes

Stephichu (QA analyst of RGM team) talked a bit about all the difficulties, it clarifies all the questions around ARURF (why trading is disabled, for example) and just in general paints a picture about the work that goes into enabling a game mode.

For anyone thinking "URF is just a switch flip", it's not because of the bugs you can clearly see with the mode on live right now. It's only in this state because we recently tested and fixed many bugs on it.

We also had to do a patch before activating it to fix more, disable 4 champions, AND trades and queue Dodge are broken. We decided to ignore these bugs to time people a good experience for the weekend in lieu of clash being broken.

This is not our normal flow, and is providing you guys with a less good experience than we would normally be okay with. This is a one time exception but we just wanted to try and do something to makeup for your guys lost time and fun :(

I think it's no surprise that modes need maintenance, but still it's quite surprising just how much work it takes to bring a mode up to date.

We really shouldn't complain, by the looks of it it's a smaller miracle that it even runs without any serious issues and that the biggest ones we have is that we can't trade or "I WANT BANZ".

Edit: we also got a promise that ARURF is going to be back soon, but as part of normal schedule, without the current issues.

We don't hold modes back because we don't want you to play them, but they require maintenance and generally we want higher quality stuff for you guys than what is currently live.

On the bright side, AR URF will be back soon and with less issues :)

Hapens 1 out of 11 games at least and it is very common.Have you run across this bug?It is pretty annoying,because it forces you to reconnect to the game.

Typically when people work on something they are passionate about, they feel a sense of pride in their work. The same idea goes both ways. When something took long hours and sweat blood and tears to create, seeing it not work can be heartbreaking. I'm sure the devs of clash are just as disappointed that clash wasn't able to come out as we are. If Riot had released a half-baked application, then we would be even more incensed. It seems wrong, even cruel to place the devs in such a lose-lose situation. A lit bit of understanding as the devs work out any last complications would be great.
