Please don't revert back to the 3 alerts system we had before. It was a horrible system and this one is perfect. It didn't work for people who play a few game before work or school. In the window we would play are cooldowns would be just coming available as we have to leave. This in return would only give us 3 cooldowns every two days.

I was getting a little burned out on the game. I had everything I needed as far as guns and traps. Only thing I need is the perk up to beef them up. that was going to be a slow painfully boring process.

Then the last week or so I started doing Vbuck missions. I always had an alert available in the time I would play. I saved up and got a super people llama and got a mythic lead and legendary Survivor I needed.

For the first time I feel that I have a way to improve my Survivor squad without just spending money. I have an overwhelming joy to play this game again. All I ever want in a game is a way to earn at a reasonable rate what is needed to progress your character.

Thank you Epic for all the wonderful things you've been doing with the game as of late. Please Consider keeping this new system or at the very least implementing a better one.

I sent them a message on March 17th, 71 days later May 27th I have finally recieved a response telling me i'm basically screwed, even through the issue was resolved about 50 days ago.

This I believe has broken many records!

1: A response has been given within a "timely fashion" to Epic's standards!
2: Basically the crappiest customer service award.

Fixing Rerolls/Too Many Resources!

Patch 4.2 and the perk reroll update was great. After months of having weapons be a gamble whether it was viable or not, we finally got the option to have our weapons not only be customization but upgrade-able too. With this, though, came a problem; We now had eight new resources to grind. Re-perk, uncommon perk-up, rare perk-up, epic perk-up, legendary perk-up, frost-up, amp-up, and fire up. This meant that the reward pool for missions became too big and became oversaturated with our 3 XP's, 4 evo mats, tickets, and gold. Additionally, a Twine Peaks player had to waste their time in Plankerton and Canny Valley missions to get lower tiers of perk-up. Well, after a couple of days of thinking, I thought about how we can fix that.

Introducing the Perk Recombobulator 2.0!

My proposed system eliminates uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary perk up. Now, there will be just one kind of perk-up; perk up. Instead of requiring perk-up according to the rarity of the perk, you just need more and more perk-up. For example, you could need 100 perk up to upgrade a common perk. Then, 200. Then, 300 (example numbers). You get the point. Now, for the elemental perk resources. Remove those, make changing an element cost a lot of re-perk, and here's the unique part to replace the elemental perk resources- quotas. Make it in order to re-element a weapon, you have to kill X husks of that element with the weapon before you can convert it. Fun!

This will allow for more focused grinding and restore the loot pool. Thoughts?

Have just PERK-UP material (like you suggest), but each perk level costs PERK-UP + ore corresponding for the zone. So for example

100 PERK UP + 100 Malachite = perk upgraded to 3/5

200 PERK UP + 200 obs/shadowshard = perk upgraded to 4/5

300 PERK UP + 300 sunbeam something = perk upgraded to 5/5

And that way we still have a reason to collect and use zone materials


And what if you want an element on the gun?

PERK UP + 50-100 active power cells


And what if you want to change a perk?

PERK UP + 50-100 rotating gizmos

So, I like getting stuff, but opening a bunch of mini llama is a little time consuming. Can we have an option to juice them all at once and extract all their delicious insides? I'd also enjoy this thematically, since the llama are pretty deeply into pain and self-harm humor.

I was pretty screwed after I overleveled the only weapon I was pouring my schematic XP into. I was in dire need of malachite, and I'm only halfway through plankerton, so it's pretty scarce no matter how hard I search. /u/joebailey931 gave me a whopping 507 malachite, and I was only looking for a little bit! I had the most dumbstruck look on my face, but then he proceeded to drop a bunch of high tier weapons and traps. I was so happy, and I wanted to return the favor somehow but he insisted it was fine.

I am so grateful, this community has alot of cool people in it (besides the people in global, most of the time) and I can't wait to pay it forward to an unsuspecting player once I'm further into the game.

I submitted a ticket on Mar. 18. To swap a weapon from obsidian to shadowshard. Never got anything in response.

Today, a little over 2 months later, I got the swap! They must be catching up!

Pathfinder Jess, Hitching and Running Halt when near mist monsters?

So i haven't seen a post about this, or maybe i haven't scrolled down a few days worth of posts. but I've taken a video of what i mean't and ill post it later if the community doesn't understand what im talking about.

EVERY time i play my pathfinder jess outlander and im farming in any level difficulty, whenever im running away from or near a Blaster or a Taker, she just STOPS running and does this weird kinda side step / shuffle dance then continues running for a few steps only to do it again.. its gotten to the point where sometimes ill just little walk in place while the blasters make their noise and the takers dive bomb me. idk what people would call it.. but hitching seems to be appropriate. i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? is there a fix? or is there something wrong with the game against the pathfinder skin. my buddy said that its happened before on his Special forces Banshee. but i know for a fact it does it to my pathfinder every single time and it never fails.

(Just as a starting point, I am pwr lvl 120+ and have been playing since July 2017 release).

Since the 4.2 Patch I find all I do is spend way too much time looking at different mission rewards while thinking, "nope.....nope......nope......nope"

99% of the missions are not efficient and I usually end up just logging off because it seems like a waste of time (more so than before Patch 4.2).

Anyone else feel this way?
