| Why Fallout 5 is very unlikely to be in San Fran and LA Posted: 07 May 2018 12:15 PM PDT I have never seen a Fallout game overlap. I will give Fallout 1 and 2 and 4 a pass as it is required for the story and it is very small. La had 2 locations in Fallout The Boneyard and The cathedral. San Fransico had an location in Fallout 2 well called San Fransico. One of Kellogs memories took place there. [link] [comments] |
| On the double barreled shotgun (Fallout 4) Posted: 07 May 2018 11:43 AM PDT Hello! Is it possible to fire both barrels at the same time? If you can't, what is the advantage of using this shotgun? Thanks for replying. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 07 May 2018 12:41 PM PDT Seeing as I died about 200 times the previous time, I'm not exactly confident. [link] [comments] |
| Observations on some of Sanctuary's residents. Posted: 06 May 2018 07:36 PM PDT You can learn a lot about the residents of Sanctuary by taking a look around the neighborhood before and after the bombs (console commands optional), noting the names on the mailboxes, and from entries on the terminal in Red Rocket and the Sanctuary drug dealer's terminal. First, Rosa, our neighbor across the street: From the Red Rocket terminal, we learn that she's a widow, fixing up an old Corvega as a project with her son. From the drug dealer Hawthorne's terminal, we learn she's trying to score some Buffout. In the prologue there's only one little boy, and he's accompanied by an adult woman but not a man; this fits with what we know about Rosa, so my best guess is that this is Rosa and her son. The funny part is, you can see Mr. Vault Tec at her door before he crosses the street and knocks on ours - for better or worse, she must have turned down a place in the vault. There's also a random encounter where you can be attacked by a pack of feral ghouls, all with names of former Sanctuary residents - poor Ms. Rosa! I figured others would like to know who she is, since it's the crafting stations in her garage (presumably used to work on the car) we inherit once we leave the vault. Second, after the war someone did a little rearranging of the neighborhood. A lot of the differences between pre-war and post-war Sanctuary are sort of meaningless, especially the ones you can't see without console commands, but it appears to me that someone squatted in the Able house (Mr. and Mrs. Able enter Vault 111 with us), took a pair of lawn flamingos from another neighbors' yard, and took the grill from our yard (!). All of those things are missing from their post-war yards, but can be found in the backyard patio of the Able house. My pure, unadulterated speculation is that it was the Vault-Tec sales representative that moved in. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 07 May 2018 03:01 PM PDT It has been a fair handful of years since I first bought New Vegas, expecting it to be a cheap title running off of the same engine as F3 trying to squeeze out some cash before the next title, but it still surprises and impresses me as much as it did that first day I played it. Ive been through a fucking lot since then. And this game has been a pleasure to plaster over all of it consistantly ever since. I still love the music. I'm still finding new things. I still enjoy playing the same quests up to New Vegas. I've never found so much replayability (thats a word, right) in a game before. My heart was with F3 being that it was my first Fallout title and something that made me fall deeply in love with its asthetic and atmosphere... But New Vegas is the one which continues to prove itself as something special. Maybe it's the Vodka talking, but God damn... I love this game. Here's something I made years ago that Ive posted here a few times. Maybe some newbies will get a kick from it. I had a lot of fun making it. | Cannot do a BOS playthrough on FO4 Posted: 07 May 2018 10:44 AM PDT Anyone else find it difficult to do a playthrough with the BOS faction? They are all such douchebags. I can't seem to resist killing the shit out of them [link] [comments] |
| Should I send all new settlers to Sanctuary Hills ? Posted: 07 May 2018 01:59 PM PDT The title, I'm a new player and I'm not sure yet how to proceed with the whole building a settlement thing. Is sending all new settlers I get from the smaller settlements like Abarnathy Farm a good idea so I can build a really big village ? [link] [comments] |
| The 1 millionth "where do you think Fallout 5 will be set?" thread Posted: 07 May 2018 03:48 PM PDT I really like the ideas of Florida and Bayou areas being the setting of Fallout 5 but have hardly heard any convincing ideas over than those. I guess Texas would be interesting ,maybe New York (If there isn't any Lore explanation why that can't happen) and possibly somewhere Inland like Denver, Chichago, Detroit ,Atlanta or possibly a revisit of the west coast. | Anyone know of some Creation Club items that can be substituted with Mods? Posted: 07 May 2018 07:57 AM PDT In particular, i'm looking for something that can work as the "Slocum Joe" item (Ya know, cafe stuff.) pack as well as some sort of weapon paints for vanilla weapons. I know that there are Power Armor paints/models on NMM as well as arcades and Pip Boy Skins. I also know of the various armor paints for standard combat armor too. I'd rather not pay $8 for something that has less content than a workshop DLC. [link] [comments] |

| A Biography of the Courier, Pt Four--No-Bark Noonam Posted: 07 May 2018 05:10 AM PDT
What! Commie ghosts are flyin about, them that don't know they're dead! Who's the Courier? The man that came through here... That bastard killed my best friend! He just walked into my house and shot Manny the Mannequin right in the head. I never found where all my bottles went. And I know he read my computer. My diary, that bastard mole-man read it, I know it.
Confound it, No-Bark, you let on you know things. Now they'll never let you be. Well, I guess it's safer to switch our conversation topics soon, else those phantoms'll get a hold on our thoughts. Best thing ever happened here was all those ghosts getting shot by the Beret Man. Yes, that Courier man helped, lured 'em all, cept for me, into Beret Man's range, then he shot em. Never knew why, but the Courier then stole from poor ol' Jeannie May. Looted her safe, and stole some paper. Well, I never knew the Beret Man to be the happiest fellow, but that paper got him happy. He and the mailman left together, hand in hand.
No, don't get any closer! You stole my thoughts, now Ol' Sticky wants revenge!
Well, that man shot the Blue Meanie, the Green Men in that space shed out back. He took a big rocket, shot it up, and blew em all up, killed em all out in that dessert. Plus, he became a God and cured my liver cancer.

| Is there a way to make the graphics lower then minimum requirements? Posted: 07 May 2018 09:26 AM PDT I currently have a I7 7700K with a GT1030 and it runs 60 fps medium (GT1030 is overclocked) and I bought a cheap pc from 2010(or something like that idk) and it has a i5 2300 and a GTX 510 with 4 gb ram. I am looking for possible scripts to make the graphics lower than its possible. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 07 May 2018 03:15 PM PDT I've just finished my first playthrough of 4, however when I go to open up my pip boy i just get an invisible screen. It seems that the game still thinks I'm in power armour (I jumped off the Prydwen and survived). Is there a way to fix this without console commands as I'm on ps4. I really don't want to have to start again, I did it on survival difficuly. pls help. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 07 May 2018 02:15 PM PDT Howdy folks! I've been trying to get the best endings for all of the companions in Fallout New Vegas and I'm currently up to Raul. I spoke to Sterling and Loyal (in that order) successfully, but Ranger Andy will not start any dialogue with Raul. I am on Xbox One X and it is digital if that makes a difference. I have already played much of the game and finished most of the other companions so I'd rather not have to start over. Also I don't have a save that is before Sterling or Loyal that isn't dozens of hours before. Apparently this is a common bug so you'd also be helping lots of others, extra brownie points! Thanks in advance to anyone who helps! I'll keep y'all posted for what works and what doesn't (for me)... [link] [comments] |

| Out of the 3 Bethesda Fallouts, which of the main title themes is your favorite, and why? Posted: 07 May 2018 02:05 PM PDT I'd choose Fallout 4's, due to what I feel is the somber then victorious tones the theme goes through. [link] [comments] |
| Want to Buy Fallout NV ultimate edition Posted: 07 May 2018 05:06 AM PDT Hello everyone! Maybe this is a late question but I haven't gotten an answer from anyone yet. So I bought fallout new Vegas a while ago on steam and now I want to buy ultimate edition from a third party website because it's cheaper but I only want the dlc:s. I want to know if it will duplicate my game and if so how will the saved games work on my original game? Will it transfer? [link] [comments] |
