Hello y'all!

Another week, another Developer Stream. Today is special though, because it's the 100th stream since the launch of Dead by Daylight. As not_queen already teased a few weeks ago, they'll change the way they execute the Developer Streams from today onwards and present the new format today.

Official Stream plan:

  • Hosts: not_Queen (Community Manager), Mathieu Côté (Game Director), Dave Richard (Creative Director) and a "Mystery guest"
  • New stream schedule / plan
  • "A trip down memory lane" with Mathieu Côté, Dave Richard and the special guest

Dev Stream changes:

  • Official Stream plan
  • Every two weeks, they'll have a livestream (showcase of new content, play with the devs, different panels (e.g. lore))
  • Every other week, they'll publish a Youtube video (Q&A, Clips and artworks, discussions on new content)
  • They want to adjust the Dev Streams to the released roadmap for the game

  • Showcase of the game in his early stages (first and second prototype) by Ash Pannell
  • Showcase of art, gameplay clips and Dead by Daylight inspired tunes by Dave Richard
  • Showcase of funny Dev Stream moments by the community mods
  • Teaser of new David King cosmetic
  • Teaser of new Nea Karlsson cosmetic
  • New killer is NOT "The Ringmaster" ("That is not what it is" - Dave Richard)
  • Will Fingerguns be a thing? - "Hopefully. I want them in the game" - Dave Richard

This is crazy! The huntress is blocking the stairs stopping him and another survivor from escaping. It's been going on for over 3 hours now.

Update: After roughly 4 hours, he stopped the stream cause he had to go to bed, but he is gonna stay in the match.

I went up against a trapper some time ago who's only perk was Franklin's Demise 2.

We all do our thing, and eventually he hits the first person. Me. He knocked my toolbox + BNP to the floor and instantly manually disconnected.

He proceeded to call me gay on my steam profile, and gave me a minus -rep.

I was shaken to my core. His harsh words put me into Madness 3, which proc'd my exhaust where I then cried myself to sleep. After all This, some days are better than others. But I know I'll never truly recover from the trauma I bear every day.

To me it looks OK. It's hard to make any real judgements because it's still in alpha but it doesn't look outright bad. It's not as cool of an idea as DBD (80's slasher movie: the video game) but it looks kinda neat. I don't think anyone can comment on balance between the two games just yet but it's something to consider.
